This is the best winter extreme cold boot I've ever found. I work in ridiculously cold temps in Wisconsin and love to ice fish. My feet never get cold anymore period. The only thing I will say is buy a boot dryer my feet sweat in any boot or shoe I wear in any temp these wick away the moisture from your feet very well but dry out slowly.

My dad has needed to spend a couple hours at a time working outside in temperatures as low as -25 degrees in Michigan's UP. He loves them. Very warm and comfortable. To tight for more than 1 thick pair of socks, but with these boots that was no trouble to keep His feet warm.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! Even with them being a little heavy, they are very comfortable to wear and very warm!

I wear a size 16 ....bought size 17 and they are a perfect fit. Boots are very warm, but heavy....not for hiking, great for ice fishing, or any extended cold weather use.

Quality boots. Will keep your feet warm. A little bulky but my husband and son don't mind

I love these boots! Never understood how critical it was to have warm feet until they froze a few years ago. These are comfortable and my feet are toasty within 15-30 minutes. I can take these off in the office and add them back on when my feet get cold. Indiana does not get as cold as Alaska but I am preparing for winter-like weather as in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow"! These are the boots for that moment! Now, off to get a better coat! Get the boots! TRUST ME: I would by more if they had different colors! LOL!

I bought the sorel glacierXT size 11 and went ice fishing, the temp was 10 above and my feet stayed warm all day. This the first boot that is easy to walk in on snow ,ice and uneven ground and kept my feet warm in years. .

My first test with these boots was standing around on a -10C day in November watching the transit of Mercury across the Sun. Despite my non-activity, the cold air temp, and the fact that i was standing on snow, my feet stayed very warm for hours with no added methods of warming. Second was shoveling snow on another -10C day. This time I was in mid-calf snow but exerting effort. My feet became too hot and I had to take breaks to cool down. Even with my feet buried in snow the whole time I was working, it felt like i was in a sauna from the calf down. The boots themselves are constructed well. I leave clean footprints in the snow when I walk meaning there is some good traction provided by the treads and that theyre clearing themselves well. Havent slipped once yet. The uppers are nicely insulated even despite the liners, and the liners themselves are no joke. Cant wait to use them ice fishing!

I bought these for my husband. His Sorel boots are old. We bought them in 2009 and were starting to wear. He still wears in the barn but now he can wear new pair of Sorels and keep his feet dry. He loves them and will keep wearing his new ones to stay warm and dry. Thanks for making Sorels!

These are my first pair of snow boots. They're by far the biggest boots as far as sheer mass. They're nice and thick and warm. I wear an 11.5 in the normal boots so I choose a 12 in these and they are perfect. I absolutely love sorel's line of boots.

I sadly, after 12 years, had to replace a pair of Sorel Dominator's. At the time I thought they were the best boots ever. When the abuse I put mine through caused them to wear to the point of leaking in water while ice fishing, I had no choice. My wife suggested Kamik's, which all my fishing buddies use, and I told her that I had to have another pair of Sorel's. When I first put them on it did take a while to adjust. Reviews at the time were "Frankenstein Boots", etc. They were also a bit heavier than my Dominator's. But even in my old boots, my toes were never COLD, but I could always feel the cold. With these, never. After a day on the ice, even when the standing temp's are below 0, I have to pull the liners and set them next to the furnace in the basement to dry out from the sweat. And it gets cold Downeast Maine where we fish. These are the best boot's I've ever owned. I bought 1 size bigger, only because a review I had read 2 years ago suggested. I don't wear insulated socks, don't have to. Fit is perfect. The one drawback is I can't drive with them. They still are Frankenstein size wide.
