These boots are great, but fall a bit short of perfect. I love the blend of style meets function. The green is a nice neutral and the fur is subtle. Height-wise they were not too tall and not too short; I am 5'3" and they hit me mid-calf. Unlike other Sorels, they are not heavy or clunky. The lace portion is fully gusseted and after a walk in 2' of snow none managed to enter the boot. The warmth is very good. I tested in -40 this past week for about 1 hour and my toes were slightly cool but not cold. The bottoms grip well, but tend to slip when transitioning from snow to concrete. The size and fit are slightly problematic. As others mention, they fit at least 1/2 size smaller than marked. I ordered 1 size larger and they were long enough for 2 pair of socks and a sheepskin liner, but vertical space was snug until they broke. Without the sheepskin liner the footbed padding was not comfy enough. These are sturdy, but not rigid, so I mistakenly wore them loose during the first week and wound up with blisters on my Achilles. Upon inspection, I found a ridge where the rubber meets the fabric and a lack of padding in the area creates an issue if worn loose. After I tightened the laces and kept them snug the rubbing went away. Some said they had an issue getting their foot in and out, however I did not experience this problem. Overall, they are solidly built and worth the money - I would buy them again.

I got these boots for a trip to Iceland in late October 2015. They were my everyday, all day, walking around the city, hiking glacier, and lava tube caving boot. Absolutely fantastic! I would get at least 1-1.5 sizes larger than your normal shoe size, as they do run really snug and won't allow for thick socks or stuffing the bottom of your pant leg into them if you order your regular shoe size. I'm usually a 7 and got an 8 in these, though I could have probably been better off with an 8.5 with my really thick hiking socks and several pairs of thermal leggings I wore for the subzero temps. Super warm and water proof. My only complaint about these is that there is a seam on the back of the calf that bends and hits right against your Achilles tendon every time you take a step. It was a bit irritating only when I was thinking of it, but it never developed into a blister or anything after a solid week and half of wearing these. Just kind of annoying. Given that, these are the best winter boots I've ever had and I would buy them again even with that seam flaw.

These boots are awesome! I originally purchased the Joan of Arctic Sorel boot because it's so dang cute! But... too heavy and bulky for my needs. I need something I can throw on and still run errands in. These are perfect. Lightweight, cute, comfortable and after an hour of walking in them inside my feet were TOASTY! Haven't had them in sub-0 temps yet, but looking forward to it.

These are fine boots but there is a mistake in the description which really upset me. I wanted an all suede boot, as in the description, but only the black and curry versions are suede.
Sorel make 2 versions of this boot, as you can tell from their website, a more heavy duty boot,in "black" suede or "curry" suede, and lesser one in tobacco or peatmoss which is made from waterproof canvas with a suede insert, (the top of the boot and the part with the loops.) You can tell this if you zoom in hard on the tobacco ones, but Zappo's description is incorrect, as they call both types all suede. They should divide this boot into 2 categories.

Tried several different snow boots before I decided to keep these. I like that they were a quality and trusted brand and I wanted black boots. The others I tried were very heavy but the Tivoli isn't. Although I haven't had the chance to test them in really cold weather, so far they've kept my feet warm and dry. I think they look nice on - not too clunky. Thumbs up from me.

I love this boot as much as I'd hoped to! I have the Sorel 'Joan of Arctic' boots, and while those are great, durable, and warm, they are so clunky/heavy and awkward to walk in, that driving my car was difficult and walking straight was just hilarious. This boot is SO much lighter, stylish and just as warm, if not moreso. I like the snug fit, whereas my other pair had too much room and my feet always moved around. My socks don't slide off in this Tivoli boot which is a huge deal. Definitely go up a half size, I'm normally an 8 1/2 and ordered a size 9 based on other reviews and they were spot on. The 9 is perfect! Highly recommend.

These are just perfect snowboots! They are so warm, and insulated all the way up, cushy, stylish...I wore them for probabaly about 10 hours on one of the first days I had them, and they were a dream. I own several different styles of SOREL's, and these are by fare my favorite. Lots of compliments too-in perosn and on social media from a picture! I got the dark grey, and always size up 1/2 a size in my boots. So for me, who is an 8, an 8 1/2 is perfect!

I bought these boots for my 14 year old daughter. She is petite so I ordered her normal size. As others have said, these boots run small so I had to send them back for a half size up. My daughter loves the style and she finds them comfortable. The boots do need to be tied tightly to allow for a good fit.

Loved the look, the feel, the light weight aspect but had ankle support and when I'm on ice I need all the support I can have. Even on powder snow I need ankle support. They went back.

I usually wear an 8 in a boot but I purchased these in an 8.5. They fit with a thin sock, although they were slightly snug on the width. I'm assuming if I kept them they would've broken in.
They are a simple but elegant boot that would look great with a skirt or jeans. They were definitely a clunky type of boot I'm used to.
I decided to return them because another brand of boot was a little warmer and fit better.
If I could keep this pair, too, as a "wear when cold but not really snowing" I would have.

These are an excellent, stylish (if you can really say that about a snow boot), and less clunky option than Sorel's "Joan of Arc" boot, and really my only complaint is sizing. I wear a size 9 typically, and based on reviews I went a half size up, which I'm glad I did. My left foot has always skewered towards being a half size larger than my right, and while both fit comfortably while on, I have to shove my left foot in. Again, when they are both on, they fit like a dream, and I do feel like there is decent support, especially around the heel. Weather is nasty in New England, and these have kept my feet totally warm through snow and rain. I also feel like I could get away with wearing these with a super casual jersey style dress and some black leggings and not look ridiculous. Good traction on ice.

I typically wear a size 9 in sneakers and ordered a 9 in these boots. They fit perfectly. I do have a somewhat narrow foot though, so I can see how someone with a wider foot would size up to fit comfortably. I also wear these with rather thin socks, and would need to size up if I wanted to wear big, thick socks. These boots are super cute and toasty warm- even with my thin socks- and they don't make me look like I have giant sasquatch feet. Some Sorels (I'm looking at you Joan of Arctic) are kind of clunky but these are more compact and great for everyday wear.

Great snow shoes. I live on the Western Slopes of Colorado and these are great for walking in snow, slush, and cold weather. Not as bulky as other Sorel styles, very stylish and clean looking. I am typically between 6.5-7, I got these in a 7 and the fit is perfect. I can still wear thick socks and be comfortable.

I have always wanted boots like these but most are just too heavy or bulky for everyday getting around. These are the perfect combination of cozy and substantial without the bulk. Hope the crease in the boots' tongue relaxes over time, though.

I just bought these boots in black and absolutely love them. They are stylish, warm and very comfortable. I hadn't really worn them except out to run errands until yesterday when I wore them for the Women's March in Denver. I walked approximately 5 miles in them and they were very comfy. I have a difficult time finding boots that are actually comfortable so was pleasantly surprised. I usually wear an 8 1/2-9 and ordered a 9 because of the reviews saying they ran small. A 9 fit perfectly. They were very warm in the 37 degree weather. I would highly recommend these boots! Now I want the shorter version, the Tivoli II, as well just for some variety.

Cute boots! I had tried on the Joan of Arctix and they were too bulky and heavy. Oddly, in those boots I was a true size 8 (my usual size). With the Tivoli Highs, I needed to size up to an 8.5; my toes were scrunched against the tip of the shoe in the 8's, regardless of sock. Great boots for those with narrow feet and high arches -- easier to cinch around the ankle. Planning to use these for running errands and in light snow; these are not boots to hike or shovel in.

I love these boots! I tried on a few styles of Sorels and found them to be clunky looking and heavy. These are the only ones that have a narrower footbed and look attractive. They are very warm and very comfy as well! I’m normally a size 9.5 and saw that these run small but ordered a 9.5 because the 10 was sold out in the black. I agree with the reviewers that say they run half a size small, but they still work fine with my normal socks. If you want to wear thick socks definitely go up half a size. Also, I have a slightly wide foot and these are not too narrow for me. I wouldn’t say they are narrow in general, they are just narrow when compared to other styles of Sorels (like Joan of Arctic).

Don't really live in a place where I'll need these but I had to have them and I'm definitely glad I got them. They're more comfortable than I thought they'd be. I got half a size up from what I normally wear and they fit great with a nice pair of winter socks.

These boots are great. They are very warm and are actually pretty stylish for hiking boots.
Tips: Definitely buy the 1/2 size up. I followed the advice of other reviewers and I am so glad I did because I had no time for exchanges. If I'd have ordered my usual 7.5 the boots would have been too tight. Size 8 was perfect. Also while breaking in these boots I suggest placing a band-aid or some other sort of a buffer between the boot and your Achilles Tendon. Another reviewer mentioned this and she was absolutely right. I only had the experience on my left but there was some rubbing that without a buffer had the potential to become a blister. I wore a band-aid and was totally fine and I expect that as the boots are broken in the need for the band-aid will disappear. Overall I am extremely satisfied!
