I love the original wooden Dr. Scholl's. I think they are so comfortable and a great workout for my legs. I do not think the plastic or imitation Dr. Scholl's are comfortable. I would love to see the original shoes in more colors or patterns. I would highly recommend these shoes and think they look great with dresses, pants or shorts.

I got these because I love the retro look but was skeptical of the comfort of the design. I was immediately in love with the they feel and the give of the leather is making them conform exactly to my feet. Easy to slip on, look cool and be comfortable all day. I wear them every day! Highly recommend. Also, PS: the buckle for adjustment is hard to figure out at first but after lots of googling I figured it out and it's easy. Use a butter knife to lift the buckle top and then move around to adjust the width and click back into its spot!

Well I am thinking up until 2009 I wore my originals. Until one afternoon my neighbor awoke me to say a heavy thunderstorms cause my street to becoming a rapid flowing creek and it was threatening to take my car away. So I slip on my shoes and run out to save it the water was thigh high and fast as I jumped into my car the water ripped off my left shoe. I saved the car but not the shoe. Is there a replacement for such an old pair of shoes? Especially at such a high price? We shall see. I will update when they arrive. On the old ones.

Not the same shoe as back in the day - missing the toe grab making keeping the shoes on a little tricky

I was so excited to get these sandals! I wore the original sandals was the young adult and love them. They are comfortable and indestructible. I was disappointed when I received it is because the toe grip has been almost completely obliterated which makes the sandals really hard to keep on your feet when you're walking. There is nothing for your toes to grip. So sad and disappointed. Bring back the toe grip!!!

Despite having read the reviews that said that there is no longer a toe grip, I thought I would give these a try and see for myself. I am so incredibly disappointed- there is NOT a toe grip, and I don't know how anyone gets these to stay on their feet. I absolutely adored my Dr Scholls when I was a kid in the 70s, and am just crushed that I can't get the same ones anymore. Dr. Scholls- if a huge chunk of your customers are requesting these be redesigned with the toe grip, why not actually listen to that feedback? I am returning these, and going on an internet hunt for the ACTUAL "original" Exercise Sandals.

In a moment of nostalgia I ordered the Kate Spade "original" Dr Scholls sandals. I loved wearing these back in the day and was looking forward to wearing them again. These are definitely not the original sandal design. There is barely a bump for the toe grip so it's extremely difficult to keep the shoes on when you walk. They are cute, but they are going to mostly stay in my closet (if I don't return them).

You ruined the original sandal. They used to have a bump on the footbed near the toes. That made them stay on better and more comfortable. They are now entirely smooth. I got a pair but hardly wear them whereas before I wore them all the time.

One of the buckles already broke. I'll try to repair it myself.

Bought these at the beginning of the summer. I was so excited to have this iconic pair of sandals again. However, I was very disappointed. I should've sent them back, but I thought I could get used to them. These shoes no longer have raised toe bump tgat you gripped to keep the sandals on your feet. Very difficult to keep these on. I regret not returning them.

My dauhter bought the sandle from the inernet and they are a newer version. I DO NOT like the velcrow closing that is now in the new version!!! Every time I bend down the veldrow loosens and the sandle is too big..... I'll not buy another Schools until the original buckel is back.

They are not the original. The toe grips are not there and that makes them very hard to walk in. They are also very hard to adjust. You need to use pliers to adjust them.
