Always have worn these for years. Just feels like summer when I'm wearing them, got the classic white, but thinking I may need some leopard print ones too!

I received my sandals and immediately fell in love with the style and comfort of this simple vintage classic. They're so easy and look great! I look forward to making them a staple for casual warm weather wear. Dr. Scholl's is and will always be a cool classic.

I grew up with these in Germany. I bought a pair of these about 10 years ago and still wear them today. The sole does wear down to the wood (when you drag the heal), but before it widdles the wood away, I just take them to the shoe repair shop and they put a new sole on for me. Cheaper than buying new pair each time. I own other sandles, but keep coming back to these. They go great with dresses, shorts, jeans or just about anything. I love them to death! Not good for walking on rocks, true. But then you wouldn't wear heals on rocks either. :) I recommend them, every chance I get.

I love these as much as I did growing up. These gave me great leg muscles. It has been at least 25 years since I put a pair on and they're exactly the same. These are super modern, I love the patent leather. As they say in the description and as it was back in the day, the wood chips and gets little nicks. I just use a black sharpie and no one can tell, including me. LOVE THEM.

One of the best shoes that I have grown up with. We had Dr. Scholl's shoe stores in the Kansas City area. Miss you guys. Glad to know that you are still in the world. Expensive shoes but well worth the price. They last a long time, easy to maintain, great colors, styles and the help my muscles in my legs and feet when I wear your shoes. Thanks Dr. Scholl's. If you have never worn the shoes (Original sandals) break them in slowly then you will not want another pair of shoes!!!!! I am all smiles. Thanks again.

After reading the previous reviews, I had to order the black patent and shiny white ones; they proved to be better than anticipated. The buckle does adjust - one simply lifts the top of the buckle, moves the strap, and pushed the buckle back down. It is much simpler than the original adjustment. I understand about the soles wearing quickly. After my many other Dr. Scholl's have worn down, I have them re-soled which, admittedly, is expensive; however, when one amortizes the re-soles with the shoes, it turns out to be pennies a wearing! I adore my Dr. Scholl's and have worn them for more than 30 years! I am a teacher who is on my feet for hours a day, and the firm contoured sole is supportive and extremely comfortable. I normally would never pay so much for Dr. Scholl's, but these were too cute and versatile to pass up! They dress up any outfit - especially summer dresses and shorts. They are a great buy!

I have been wearing this sandal style for more than 40 years! They exercise my feet as I walk strengthening them and encouraging good circulation to my legs. The current width is a bit too wide for my foot (I think the shoe last might've changed over the years) but my foot is extremely narrow. I would think its just about right for the average foot width.

I have been wearing these shoes since I was a teen in Germany. Forty years later nothing has changed. Buy a couple pair ever spring. They are comfortable and go with everything. If you're new to them you have to learn to grip your toes when you walk - good exercise for your feet and calves.

Love Dr. Scholl's since I was a teenager, and I was so happy to see them in this new cutout pattern! There are so many nice colors but I went with the turquoise, which are fabulous. I love these because you can just slip them on and wear with almost anything. I am a half-size and sized up, and they're a perfect fit. If you also love the original Dr. Scholl's sandal and want something new and fun, definitely pick up a pair. They're made well too, with the original wood bottom. Will definitely purchase another pair! And of course, super-fast shipping with Zappos!

If anyone else is seeing the chambray model, as I did, a mix of black & gray threads, I can tell you, they're blue and white threads, the classic chambray. And actually, they should be called "faded denim" because they have a touch of fraying. They're attractive, but do not match my screen.

These shoes are super cute and I get compliments on them every time I wear them.
However, they don't come in half sizes so I sized down. And now I feel like my feet are getting a workout when I do wear them b/c my toes have to grip so I don't slide out of them. I wouldn't wear them on a long walk.

The fit is true to size. I feel great wearing these shoes. Like wooden shoes, they make a clomping sound when I walk on wood floors. I don't try to drive in them.

Great shoes I love them. They look good with everything.
Just learning how to walk in them without sounding like
a horse clip clipping over the cobble stones.

I love these sandals and have been wearing them since the 70s. But I wear size 6 1/2 so sized up to 7. They are a bit too long and I wonder if size 6 would have been better. For those of us who wear half sizes it would be helpful if told to size up or down for ordering.

A little more uncomfortable than I remember, but I'm wearing them around the house to get used to them. They are beautiful.

They're rant pretty but, they're not really the originals in my opinion. The foot bed is too narrow, the leather is too thin doesn't feel sturdy enough and the clasp is a bit flimsy and they don't have the the foot bumps to grab with your toes which was the original purpose for them as a helpful exercise for the legs/calf muscles?!?!?!

I like them a lot, but they are not the original... They don't have the same rounded center that they used to have, which gave support in the front part of the foot. I still have the old ones, and really would love that feature that made them more comfortable when wearing for many hours. Still, they feel good.

It looked like something was missing when I first saw the sandals so I watched the Dr Scholls commercial from 1983 on YouTube.
Google the 1983 commercial. It's all about the TOE GRIP and how it helps your muscles, makes your legs look good, etc. I wish they would bring that exact style back! Until then these are great
