These are beautiful boots, well-made, comfortable, everything you'd expect from Timberland - the reason I returned them is a small but significant (for me) style detail. I don't want a biker boot to look like a cowboy boot, and with that downward "notch" at the front of the boot, that is the look you get. So- as they say in a break-up: "It's not you, it's me." They're great boots, I just wish they hadn't included that particular style flourish.

Why didn't I buy two pairs of these? They are super stylish, comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I wanted a boot that could trudge through snow and rain, but that wasn't too bulky and this is the one. I am a 7.5 and that's what I ordered despite some saying it ran small. The 7.5 fits me perfectly. The sole is light and flexible and they were comfy right out of the box. Love them!

I purchased a 9 and an 8.5. The 9 felt too big, but the 8.5 was too small. I thought the 8.5 would loosen up when I wore it around the house for an evening, but it didn't. I kept the 9 and I'm happy I did! The 9 did loosen a bit, but my foot is much more comfortable, and I can wear it with winter socks with no problem. I love these, I hope they last forever. They're so cute and waterproof. People can't believe it when I tell them that the shoes are waterproof!

I had been searching for a waterproof boot that was different than a cowgirl boot. When these arrived I put them on and they just are comfortable as any other cowgirl boot I own. They are a little snug but I am always a size 8 M and it takes a few times to break in the leather to form to your feet so you wouldn't want to size up unless you want extra room. They pulled on just perfect and look really cute with a leg warmer or knit topper. I am in love with these boots!

They were a little tough to put on the first time, but after putting them on once they fit great. I'm so happy that they're waterproof! Totally worth the price considering how often I am kicking myself for wearing the wrong shoes on days when it's cold and rainy!

I love these boots! Unfortunately, they were way too big in a 9 and a little too small in an 8.5. Another review notes that the boots are hard to get into, but I found that the ones that were almost the right size went on like cowboy boots. Love that about them. I am giving 5 stars in all categories because I think the boots would be very comfortable, but I am just between sizes.

I'm still not sure about these boots. I usually wear 8.5, but the 8.5 won't allow for socks, which I'll need in winter. So I went up to the size 9. I still have to see if they will work with foam inserts to keep my feet from sliding around and giving me blisters. I love the look of motorcycle boots, and without a zipper, these should be great winter dress/casual boots.

Nice looking boot, but I found it quite narrow and a bit tight in the lower leg area, but I have rather chunky calves.

I wanted to like these. I just want a decent, comfortable, practical pair of boots. I ordered my regular size and a half-size up, but no luck, but I couldn't get my foot into either pair. High instep? I don't know. The size was right when I measured my foot against the shoe. Just no room to squeeze in. Terribly disappointed!

Like the other reviewers, I thought these boots would be great, but I could barely get them on. I did manage to get them on, but they were SUPER uncomfortable to get on and off. They would be very inconvenient to pull on and off, so I had to return them.
