These are handsome booties. I originally ordered these in my true size (8, regular width) from another retailer, but then bought them here in a half size larger. These are comfortable and appear to be made to last as long as care is taken with them (ie. avoid water or treat with repellant). I would strongly advise ordering up a 1/2 size to accommodate for a slightly short/narrow toe box and to wear socks with them. They are much more comfortable that way. If you have wide feet, these may not be for you. Also, be aware that you also may need to take the laces out of the top grommets because otherwise it is difficult to flex your and ankle to walk normally.

I love these boots. I've worn them with all kinds of outfits, get a lot of compliments on them, and they feel really secure in terms of both traction and ankle support. But I'm about to return my second pair for the same problem: the heel of the boot is filled with some kind of metal that can be jostled enough to break. In the first pair, the heel lost structural integrity. In the second, it's rattling. Bummer.

I finally have 'my blue suede shoes'! Cute boot. Goes well with jeans. But if you are looking for a boot that is easy to get on and off this is not it. You do need to loosen the laces pretty far down to get your foot in and out. Yet this isn't a big deal as the style outweighs the slight inconvenience. Not super padded either in the footbed. I did order up a 1/2 size like other reviewers suggested and it fit well.

Very cute boot but it runs about a 1/2 size short and a bit narrow. It was described as "leather uppers" but it is suede; technically suede is leather - but that is usually noted. Although I am returning this pair I may order another in a half size up.

So cute. Lots of compliments, easy to wear. Make my feet look small.
