Game changer for an aging runner like myself. I am 44 years old and need the huge amount of cushioning. This shoe allows me to train longer. Its not my first Hoka and will not be my last. I have grown to love the unusual profile, you will too.

Love these. I think if I had started wearing them sooner I wouldn't have any knee pain. They do seem to run true to size, unlike other Hoka's I've tried which ran very large.

My plantar fascia was causing me so much pain that I dreaded going to work every day. These shoes are so comfortable that I actually look forward to walking now. The pain in my feet is gone. I now have two pairs and will order another. The Stinson is a little narrower than some of the other models which fits my foot better. Thank you Hoka One One!

I work in the health care field and spend many hours on my feet, I got on the computer looking for a good pair of shoes, I found Hoka One One Stinson Lites. I am so in love with these shoes I went to work bragging about them. Several coworkers tried them on and have since ordered their own pair. They have a big toe box, lots of cushion on the bottom, the heel base is wide and supportive and they are so light weight. I cannot say enough good things about these shoes!

Sizing seems true. Shoe looks tall, but doesn't feel that way. No sense of falling off.
Very comfortable. I did use my own insoles.
The fast laces are ridiculous, got rid of them right away.
This shoe was one of a few recommended by my podiatrist.

I am so in love with these shoes. First off, I'm not a runner, don't want to be, never will be, but I do love to walk and am pretty hefty. These shoes not only took away my back, knee and hip pain but in doing so encourage me to get up and out and MOVE because I feel so much better. My median size is an 11 in shoes, and that's what I ordered. I wear a 12 in New Balance, 10-11 in Clarks, 10 in Fit Flops, 11 in Merrill, you get the picture. Medium width. Try these, you'll love them. I don't care how long they last, I'll buy more just because I feel so good! They are sheer and your feet stay cool. Not so sure how much sand I'll end up with inside, but hey, I really don't care. For me they seem to work best with a thinner sock too. Will cut out the bungee laces as described above. They don't do much for me, but with the additional laces and insole provided, most anyone should get the fit and comfort they need. Thanks!

I am 55 years old and trying to preserve my knees but still love to run. These shoes are fantastic. No foot, knee, low back pain. They are advertised as recovery runners and they are just that! I love them and would buy them again!

I wear a size 8 in the Asics Kayano. However for this shoe a 7.5 is perfect. Great shoe for spring/summer running. The mesh allows the toe area to breath (just don't step in a water puddle or your socks will get wet). The sole doesn't have a lot of traction so if you're running on concrete or asphalt and those surfaces get wet you'll have trouble. I purchased the Stinson ATR for those conditions. That said I love the shoe and on a limestone trail that s relatively flat they are just what I need. My feet, ankles and knees feel great whether running long or short distance. I will purchase another pair when the time comes.

Finished the Chicago marathon last week with no blisters or anything I could describe as "pain" the day after. I trained and wore out my first pair of Hokas, the Stinson Tarmac, now obsolete so I moved to the Lite 3 weeks before the marathon. According to the Hoka rep at the marathon expo they will stop using the bungee laces in future models. I cut them out of both pair I've had and used the regular laces provided in the box for easier on and off, as well as more secure tightening. If you want/need great cushioning you can't beat these for both smooth and fast ride. They do wear out slightly faster if you're into high mileage but well worth the physical benefits.

Lighter, more comfortable than Stinson Tarmac. The tongue on this shoe is softer and the shoes are more breathable. Support/cushion to alleviate shin splints is the same. Highly recommended.

This is my third Hoka Stinson but it is not at all like the previous 2 pairs I wore out. I have a wide foot and my other Stinsons fit fine but this version caused me to have severe pain in the ball of my foot. I can't wear them and sadly can't return them because I wore them several times on my walks hoping they would loosen up.

I previously had the Hoka One One Conquest shoes and was looking for something equally comfortable but more neutral in color, so tried these. The sole is very comfortable and the fit was good - a little narrower than the Conquest in the toe box - which was perfect for me. However, as some other reviewers mentioned, the spot where the tongue is attached to the inside of the shoe is very stiff and it rubbed against the top of my feet when I wore them around the house. I bought these together with the Stinson ATR and will be keeping the Stinson ATR and returning this pair.

I purchased these shoes after thorough research and sought after advice. I have extremely bony feet, a hammertoe on my left foot, which also happens to have a few toes that are either fused or choose not to bend on their own. I also have a big lump on the bottom of my left forefoot, (not a Morton's neuroma) I am just so bony. These shoes were recommended for metatarsalgia, or pain in the forefoot. They did not work at all for me. They may work if you have more meat on your feet! I found them much too deep, almost like diabetic shoes. I found the laces extremely uncomfortable; I thought that I would love the auto laces, so to speak, yet they hurt the top of my feet. I noticed several reviewers shared this thought on many sites. I really wanted to like these shoes, as I need the cushioning they provide. However, after wearing them around my house, I sadly must send them back.

This style is not made for human to wear. They are using some type of vinyl or mesh material, which is very rough on feet. Inside has very sharp edges. Get rid of this type of material and use soft fabric instead!
