These were for my son. He usually wears a Vans slip on in size 13 but had to have these in a 12. I think Vans run large. These have held up okay for school and work so far. They could accommodate his custom orthotics; something difficult to find with a somewhat stylish casual shoe.

Purchased to wear in the office to give my feet a break from dress shoes. Felt they ran a bit small.

great pair of shoes. a little hard to break in due to the fact they were narrow and feel tight. once i broke them in they were very comfortable.

I like the style and color of these shoes. Very simple and elegant. I don't skate with them. After 2 months of daily use they still look and feel great. The price is reasonable as well. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

These are classic skate shoes for when you want to bust out those FS 180 Kickflips down some gaps like The Boss. They are affordable, too. However, I feel that they could been made of more durable material. Downside; The couple pairs that I have owned and skated have shredded to the point of where I could not kickflip without my pinky-toe bleeding from the grip wearing through the suede and my sock. This was a week after I purchased the shoe. I wanted a back-to-school skate shoe and had learned FS flips at the time and wanted to show my support. On the first day of school, unfortunately it was time for new shoes. After I disposed the now non-reliable shoes, I then purchased the Supra skate shoe- Erik Ellington pro model which was sick. Durable leather, sick colorway, Suprafoam for impact support, etc. They lasted me probably a year and I spent a few bucks extra. I like Reynolds but was not too thrilled with the pro-model shoes to be honest. I love watching him skate though, and whatever he is comfortable riding in, is purely in his control. And so are you. I am not trying to imply that these shoes are bad. They are decent. I would not not consider purchasing them if that helps you make a more informed decision. But I skate Supras and Nike SBs lately, they may cost a few more bucks but my trick was to buy them on sale. They are worth the purchase regardless because they would last longer than these would. Surprising too because the now defunct eS skate shoe company was co-partnered/merged with Emerica and Etnies but I found my favorites at the time to be 1: eS (n/a) 2: etnies 3: emerica. In conclusion, even though I like Supras, I would not rule out buying these shoes. Especially the mid-top (extra ankle support).
I'd also recommend:
SUPRA, Nike SB, DC, Lakai, Vans, Etnies

The shoe color was darker than the pictures on zappos. And it was a half to a full size smaller than it was marked as so i dont know if it is a comfortable shoe or not.

Runs crazy narrow. Normally wear a 10.5. Couldn't even get my foot in. Ordered an 11, got foot in but it hurt, even without laces.

These are not nearly as comfortable or well-made as the cupsole version. The rubber that runs along the edges of the shoe was cut unevenly on the bottom. There is black stitching on the tongue that doesn t look like it belongs and it doesn t match the other tongue. You can also feel the hard plastic supports in the back of the heel. They are also narrower than the cupsole version, but I liked that the toes was less boxy on these.

I had the cupsole version of these and they were way better. These would have been fine if the toebox wasn't so narrow. There's another reviewer on here that's saying the same thing. Buy any other shoe Emerica has to offer, these are uncomfortable. This is coming from a person who has been wearing emerica's since day one.

I have a few pairs of Emerica shoes that fit perfectly, so I was very disappointed when these shoes didn't fit. The toe area is squeezed down at the widest point of the foot. I don't know if the next size up would fit better, but it would be a size larger than my other two pairs.

After wearing just a few times, half the sole on my right show separated from the upper part. Never had that happen on a shoe before.

unfortunately, after a couple of weeks, the whole inside of one of the heals was all mess up and my son's foot was hurting him. Disappointed, should be more durable for the money we paid.

Great shoe, terrible glue. Shoe fell apart in less than a few months with minimal use
