I used to love Pegasus. Bought 6 pair a year and did the premium, build your own, Nike ID Pegasus -- then they started messing with perfection. These are the worst one yet. The beloved Pegasus cushioning no longer present in these. Where I could run 20 miles with a smile on my face with my previous Pegasus purchases, these left my knees aching after just 6 miles. Same route, same speed, same week, different shoe. These are horrible if you need / want a shoe with cushioning and are looking for what Pegasus used to stand for. I begrudgingly am switching brands while still being whimsical about the old days with my Pegasus before they went and changed. If your love affair with Pegasus, like mine, was based on cushioning and a narrower fit, I highly recommending setting up a date with Brooks Glycerin. They have what Nike used to be.

I have the jade and the pink and I love them both. I use them daily and they are holding up very well. I recently started running again after years of neglecting it. I lift weights, do yoga and sprints regularly but haven't run a consistent few miles at a time in years. I really like the Nike Free for training and general gym stuff because it's really low profile (I train barefoot at home) but because my muscles and joints were really unaccustomed to running I decided to go with a more cushioned running shoe. Let me just say I love this shoe. My feet never hurt and there was zero break in time. I laced them up, ran 2 miles, and felt amazing -- no joint pain and no foot pain, which is huge for me. Usually I wear a 7 in Nike Free so I figured 7 would be fine in these. However, I ended up getting another pair (different color) on 7.5 as well because the 7 was a bit snug for runs. I still wear the 7 to run but have to wear a very thin sock, and the 7.5 is more comfortable in general.

My most comfortable running shoe. Felt great from first wear. Very lightweight and comfortable. I've usually always worn neutral running shoes, but these for those who underpronate are my new Favorite running shoe.

I purchased these Pegasus because I was looking for a walking shoe that would provide support for all the walking I do in Downtown Los Angeles after I got off from my retail job. I am definitely not a runner and did not purchase this shoe for that intention, but I was looking for everyday comfort. The Pegasus is the perfect show for that and I truly feel like I am walking on clouds every time I step. I was also debating between the Nike Free's and the Lunar Glides but felt that the Pegasus was the perfect style right in between (I did try both on) Found the Frees to be too light and the Lunar Glides a tad to heavy. I also love the color palette because to me, black and white goes perfectly with everything. I especially love wearing these shoes with denim and sporting more of an athletic casual look. The detail on them is amazing and I also love the discreet mesh look. If I couldn't say the word love one more time, then how would you know how much I love my Pegasus!? I also love calling them "my Pegasus" because it sounds a little silly.

Love the shoes and the service I received from Zappos was outstanding. The width seems to be narrower than a B but they fit my foot perfectly this way.

When I came across these, I loved the color but when they came, I was pleasantly surprised at how vibrant the color was!! They are much brighter in person and the picture doesn't show it but there is a color variation on the webbing at the top of shoe around the toe area, no complaints at all, love them! They were super comfortable from the moment I put them on, true to size, good arch support and no break in period needed!

These are ok. As someone who much preferred Air Pegasus, they are disappointing because the fit is different (and not for the better). They are ugly, too. But I do not care about that since I just run in them.

I am not satisfied with this model of the Pegasus. I have worn the style for more than 4 years. The fit is narrower in the toe box, but the wide size is too big. The colors are not satisfactory, the only ones left in my size are White/Mango and won't stand up to the wet and mud of spring. I am not a fan of the new plastic-like woven material on top. I may try the black in a half size up, or hope to order the 30 model from last year. Nike, please go back to your previous shape and design. In the short amount of time I had them on in my house, the cushioning felt okay.

This is a supportive, comfortable shoe. I originally purchased 2 pair of these shoes in the teal color in support of a friend stricken with ovarian cancer. I realized I was taking less medication for my arthritic knee. I live in a tropical environment and generally wear sandals 12 months of year. Yet, now that I have realized how supportive the shoe is, the sandals are out and Pegasus 31 is my choice. I have purchased in as many colors as I can. BTW ZAPPOS Customer Service is excellent!

Love the shoes but they were a bit too large and I need to try the 8 M when they become available. The style is very cute though. I usually take an 8 but with Nike, never too sure.

Size: 9.5W I wear 8.5W-9.5W. I think these are true to size and a 9w would fit me well. Very comfortable. Def one of the best of the women's running shoes I tried-and I tried lots. I'll be returning this and possibly going with the 9W. I have wide feet so I went with the 9.5W. I don't know if the 9W would be wide enough or not.

I have been wearing the Pegasus for years because it is my favorite running shoe. This version did not disappoint. Great support, very comfortable, and the colors are great. Fit well and I would recommend this shoe.

Love these shoes. Right balance of cushioning and support. I love that Nike is now making wides as I'm often on the edge of wide/medium. Bummed that the 32 redesigned the shoes so I've bought several pairs of 31s to ensure I have some for awhile.

These are nice shoes. They have a comfortable fit - I wear a 7½W and they are definitely narrower than a W. I fixed that by loosening the shoe strings. They are so light and beautiful. I have never received compliments on my sneakers and today I received two!

I highly recommend these shoes for some one who needs more support on the inside of your shoe and have wide feet. I get fitted for running shoes every year and these shoes have been awesome. I keep ordering these shoes because they give me exactly what I need to run long distances; support, comfort, and flexibility in stitching of the shoe.

I am happy with the fit of the Zoom Pegasus 31 (first pair of this style). Length was half a size small for me - I usually wear size 10 medium width in athletic shoes, but 10½ fit better. I wear these to the gym and find them to be supportive and comfortable during workouts. I got the black ones which have dark gray and white accents.

I didn't try the previous Pegasus shoes, so I cannot speak to how these compare. I can say that I love these shoes. I have a history of plantar fasciitis and these are the first shoes I've used that provide some relief while running. I feel significantly less fatigued following runs. These are my new favorite! As I typically do with Nikes, I sized up a half size.

These are s comfortable! The sole is springy soft! There is no foot pain or toe pain! I normally wear size 5 in heels and 5½ in flats because I do not like the shoes to be too tight and my toes need a little wiggle room. These shoes are perfect! They aer not too tight nor too loose. There is a small bit of wiggle room for toes but not too much, which is perfect. These are the shoes of my dreams! They are heavenly! They fit perfectly! The blue ones are gorgeous! I am going to buy more pairs!

These Nikes are true to size. I'm an 8 narrow and they fit my foot perfectly. Don't buy the Mango color unless you are prepared for people to comment on your bright-colored shoes. The shoes have thick cushioning. I don't run but I walk 4 miles a day in my Nikes. Great purchase. Zappos rocks, as always.

Super lightweight and comfortable sneakers. I have not worn them to run in but I regularly wear them for walks and errands and they make me feel quick on my feet. I normally wear a size 7 but I bought size 7.5 as suggested by other reviewers and they fit perfectly.

Classic Air Pegasus seems to exist only in the version marked now as Zoom. Well worth the cost difference compared to the latest generic version which was disappointing and not even labeled Air Pegasus anywhere on the shoe.
