Our warm fall weather has been perfect time to try out my Atom. It replaces for me a 10-year-old Atom that has been my travel jacket, mid layer, and all around, versatile warm-up. The new one arrived with lots of folds and wrinkles and is not as trim as my old one but I'm still wearing it on the warmer December days.

Jacket is almost perfect. Lightweight but warm. I love the water resistance ! But my biggest complaint - PLEASE FIX THUS ARCTERYX !!! : The flap that goes over the zipper on the collar needs to be slightly bigger so that it fully covers the area right below the chin. Otherwise the top of the jacket doesn't tuck into the flap and it will scratch your chin. Makes an almost perfect jacket a bit uncomfortable when zipped up fully.

Just received my Atom LT Jacket. Immediately noticed the lack of insulation. It feels like there is just the lining and the outer layer of fabric, no insulation. I have a Atom LT that I purchased appx 4 years ago, it has insulation I can feel. Also, do not like the knit panels in the sides.

Product is top notch BUT what's with the white collar liner and most of the jackets lining thought maybe you would coordinate with exterior shell.

Lighter and less warm than I expected. Fits well and looks good. Not the greatest value butt ok, It does compact well.

I have 2 Atom LT vests already and a variety of midlayers (Proton FL, Practicioner AR) in size L. This is a bit roomier fit in size L than I am used to, but some might find that advantageous (I am definitely more on the slim size in abdomen, wider shoulders). Great for all-around use. Kingfisher is a great color with just as much casual appeal as Black, I find. Very warm for the weight.

This is my second Atom LT jacket and first without the hood. I love the new design; it fits much better across the chest and shoulders compared to my 2019 jacket. What I don't like is the inside collar. I have this jacket in the dusty pink and the inside collar is black microfleece. It shows everything--fuzz, dry skin, etc. And, while I didn't notice it at the time when I tried it on, I realize now that when the collar is not all the way zipped up, the black breaks up the jacket from an aesthetic point of view. I think it would be much nicer looking to have the same colour of microfleece lining the collar as the colour of the jacket. I do love these jackets as a stand-alone or layering piece. But, I won't buy another (hoodless) if the inner collar lining does not match the colour of the jacket.

Works great as a midlayer. I use this under my Beta AR because it doesn't have a hood, and my Atom LT hoody as a standalone piece and midlayer under jackets that have stormhoods.
This and the hoody version are becoming my favourite pieces of clothing, they are very comfortable and the fit is spot on. They don't restrict movements at all.
Only thing I'm worried about is the durability of the face fabric, it feels a bit delicate. I've had a few branches brush against the fabric but luckily no rips so far.
Lighter colours might stain easily, so be wary of that.

Bought this specifically as a mid layer for high output cold weather hikes. I have tried many mid layers over the years and always had the same issue, they did not breath. I'm excited to say that I think I finally found the holy grail! This jacket is light enough to pack, warm enough to wear as an outer layer most of the time, and breathable enough to hike in. Once you stop, simply throw on a shell or down jacket. Great addition to my cold weather gear collection. Very happy with the Atom LT.

Hubby has worn the Atom jacket and vest for many, many years. It is perfect for the Pacific NW weather. The elasticized panels aid the range of motion and layering capabilities. Although he strongly prefers the function of the hood, I prefer the collared jacket as it looks slightly more dressy. The jacket is nearly indestructible. I subtracted 1 star due to the unavailability of larger sizes, specifically 3xl.

Love the 'Muse' green colour-way! I have a couple of other Atom LT jackets in black/khaki and live in them ALL the time. This jacket seems a slightly roomier 'medium' cut than my other Atom LTs BUT - a design detail that I didn't see in the product photos - I'm slightly disappointed that the interior lining colour doesn't match the lovely green of the outer, or the interior collar. The inside collar fabric is black which looks good, but the rest of the lining fabric is a pale minty green which (I think...) cheapens the overall look of the piece; I'd prefer to have the lining colour in black or the same green colour as the outer - it just looks more minimal and stylish imo. A small detail for an otherwise brilliant jacket.

I recently bought this jacket as a layer whilst hiking in the winter. It is amazingly warm, but not as breathable as I'd hoped. That said, it is designed as an insulating layer mainly. I would happily recommend this product.

I had the old version of this and it was perfect but lacked a drawstring at the bottom so lots of draft.
The new version has a drawstring at bottom (yeah) but also a very floppy collar and a weird fit. I'm 5:7 and 122 lbs. The small is tight across the shoulders so sized up to a medium which fits across shoulders but hangs everywhere else. The body of jacket is very wide - you can cinch bottom but lots of extra fabric. On balance I prefer the old version.
An awesome jacket if it fits you.
I also have the atom SL which is a much better fit - slender in body and cinches at bottom.

Love everything about this jacket. I fit a small perfectly apart from the arms, which are much too short. It forces me to size up to a medium. I tried the hooded version on in the store and cinched the waist - it worked fine. I ordered the size medium of the hoodless version online. When it came - what?!? No waist drawstring, so the whole jacket looks way too big and hangs off my body. Lets a lot of cold air in. Not super pleased. Nothing highlights the difference between the hooded and hoodless version - you'd think they would be the same! Very bizarre.
I would do ***** if there was a drawstring at the waist.

I've owned many Arc'teryx jackets and the one i keep going back to is the Atom LT. Great balance of weight and warmth. The only thing i would improve on its design would be in the high way areas maybe using a stronger more abrasion-resistant material.

I bought these for my team and I use this for work in oil & gas and industrial work.
I cannot speak for sizing because I bought it Large knowing it would be snug. It fits like a glove and is a warm layer for under coveralls and keeps me warm all day without bulk.
I wear it under coveralls with a long sleeve poly pro base layer and a t shirt and it has worked well down to -25C.
I also pack this for shoulder season hikes as an emergency jacket for ugly surprise storms.
