I used used these several times hiking and backpacking in the southeastern US and love them. Very lightweight but not so light as to not be durable when scuffing up against nature. Like the double back pockets; the top hip pockets are a little tough to use I've found as they're very snug. Love these overall!

This is a well made pair of pants that great for outdoor use. I originally thought I could use this for the office, but after seeing it in person, it is definitely meant more for the outdoors.
I also like that the Arc'teryx logo is stitched-in vs printed on.

I bought these for an upcoming trip through the Alps and to Iceland. I was a little apprehensive about ordering these because of the negative reviews they claim they are too tight in the thighs. I have a medium build and they fit loose enough and are very comfortable. I don't find them tight or restrictive at all, and they look great, I could see myself wearing them around town as well.

I like these pants a lot. Much more stretch than the more nylon pants and they seem just as durable. More comfortable in my opinion. And I really like that I can use my own belt.

The perimeter pant is great for just about anything. Arcteryx pants and tops are quite possibly the best travel clothing made. If you find some pieces in their lineup that fit you well I don't think there is anything more comfortable out there. This pant is a regular in my commute and I love the iron oxide color so much that I ordered the gamma rock pant in the same color. it is more subtle in person than the online pictures show. I am a big fan of the pocket placement and love the zipper pockets.

If your on the fence to buy them do it you wont regret it

Bought a pair in February and have rid myself of all other pants. I picked up the shorts version for the summer time heat. As a digital nomad I travel very light and need garments that can be worn multiple days in a row and look good when put on directly out of a stuff sack. These pants fit the bill. Easy to clean, and they also dry very quickly over night after washing.
The single zip pocket is great for securing some important items, and the position of the pocket never interferes with movement. Quite frankly, I don't wan't anymore zippers than just the one, so it's perfect for me (sorry Palisade).
Cool enough to wear in the summer generally, and with a pair of thermals underneath they do great in the mountain cold.
My only complaint is that for casual wear they bunch up a bit in the legs and look baggy. This, however, is a feature when you are scrambling over some rocks and always have full mobility.

Got these pants 4 weeks ago and they are very well made, strong and very confortable. Be aware that they are a bit baggy at bottom and a bit tight on butt.
Beside that, they fit very well and another example of Arc'teryx quality. Love them.

Love this pant. Took on a warm humid day hike at Point Reyes National Park. Did a tough long hike up and down hills with a pack. Never sweated in pants, Did sweat in shirt. Very Very comfortable. They do not shrink when dried. Also I tested air drying. It is a few hours.
These will be my main pant for hiking and traveling. I just ordered the Rampart's so lets see.....
I got the 36x35 pant. I wear a 34x34 jean and 35x34 Tommy Bahama Jean. I had a person take in the waist a bit (about 1.5"). If you you get the 34x35 the legs and waist would fit, but would be a bit tight. The 36x35 allows for a bit more room. I'm 6'3" and 200lbs.

If you're looking for a perfect hiking/everyday use pant that can be layered, look no further. These pants are highly breathable and have just the right amount of stretch.
I initially bought the Gamma LT's because of the reviews and tech specs, but after trying them on, they looked very dorky. By dorky, I mean the tapered pant cuffs didn't even fit over my sneakers or hiking boots. I noticed the experts at my local outfitter stores had the same remarks about the tapered ankles. That being said, if you don't care about the pants looking at all cool, and are more concerned about the technical ability of a pant, you may want to snag the Gamma LT.
However, if you like looking cool, while still having a mid-high tier hiking pant, the Perimiter Pant will suit you very well. I really am impressed with the solid DWR finish and the lightweight design. It should be noted that I reside in Georgia; therefore, a lightweight pant to me may not be regarded as the same lightweight pant to a user in British Columbia.
Also, as I believe other reviewers have commented, the 32" Inseam version I purchased actually fits more like a 31" Inseam, which is perfect for my 5"8 / 165lbs frame.
In my opinion, the true test of a product is whether or not you'd purchase it again. My answer to that is yes. I absolutely plan to purchase this pant in other colors.

Awesome Fit!!! (Athletic Fit) Just right! The Perimeter Pant & the Gamma SL Hybrid Pants are wicked, as well as the Palisade Croper! Perimeter Pant are crazy comfortable! Now I just need to get more in Medium/Light Gray and please make all these cool pants in Black.
These are sleeper Arc'teryx pants - Get them! You don't even feel like you wearing any pants, sweet...

After much debate between these pants, the Palisade, Adventus, Rampart and the Gamma LT, I went with these as my general purpose, hiking, walking playing in the woods pants for the warmer, less rainy part of the year.
A major selling feature for me is the mesh pockets. In this format, they serve very well as vents. No matter how hot it is, my legs breathe well. I don't use them to hold anything, I use the zippered pocket for that. So they would be light in storage, but I don't like things in my pockets while I am out anyways and use whichever pack I have, even just my hydration pack to hold my keys, wallet, phone etc.
These pants are comfy, stretch well and I am unable to contort myself into a position that causes them to bunch up uncomfortably, or become restrictive to my movement.
They shed water from the brush that overhangs the trails very well, it beads right up and pretty much falls off. The thread in the seams does absorb a little water as you would expect, but all in all you stay very dry.
All in all, they fit well, are comfortable, breathe amazingly well, shed water and are light weight.
These pants are awesome.

I bought two pairs of these pants and it was probably my best buy of the year, I never had trekking pants light, comfortable and ventilated well like Perimeters. Wearing them almost every day for 4 months and had no problems with quality.
I'm 5'10" 165 lbs, have relatively long legs and had to lengthen my size 30 pants a good two inches, since the hems were big enough to do it easily.

I have several pairs of Arcteryx pants. The 32/35 are a perfect fit. My favorite is the apparently discontinued Bastion 32/35 canvas pant. Arcteryx please bring them back or offer more options in 32/35.
My only negative comment about any of the pants is that the front leg zipper came undone on two pairs of my Perimeter pants. Both were about 2-3 yrs old. My attempt at a super glue repair did not go well. The pants themselves long outlasted the zippers.

Great hunting pant for the mountains, they've been very durable and dry fast when they're wet. Would like to see more earthen tones and a little longer in the legs.

These pants are really nice, although the cut is a bit weird. They are snug around the hips, and quite loose towards the calves. Smaller overall than the Palisade in the same size.

Absolutely love these pants. They fit well and are very comfortable. Looks like they changed the material to be more of a tech pant. The previous version was a cross between tech and canvas which I preferred for everyday use. The new material will be better for outdoor activities since it dries in half the time.

I really like the fit of this pants but very poor design around "crotch" area which has fabric flare out when sitting as if zipper is open. This overlap should have been slightly wider and better constructed to avoid this issue to be honest. One always has to adjust this when sitting down! Fine for walking and hiking, but obviously no one tested this one while sitting!
