I was very impressed with this pant when I tried it on. The store only carried a 32" waist which was way too big. Decided to order a 30' waist which was abit snug. A 31" would have been perfect but alas, Arc'teryx decided not make odd sizes in this particular pant. Try on before purchasing and if they fit, you have yourself a wonderful pant. Please start making odd waist sizes in this pant.

This is the 5th pair bought over the past 20 years. (all still wearable) Great for everyday general wear however really great for riding my touring Harley. Soft canvas on the skin and long lasting.

Buying pants is always a pain -- finding the right size and fit can take a lifetime. Thankfully I don't have to look anymore because these pants are incredible and check all the boxes. Durable, comfortable, breathable, stylish. Need more colorways because this is the only pant I wear now.

I bought these pants last season and wear them often. They are comfortable and extremely durable. I would gladly get rid of every other pair of jeans and pants I have to wear only Cronin pants. Please Arc'Teryx keep producing these!

I received these pants a few months ago as a gift. They fit perfectly with room for a base layer if needed. Great for hiking on cooler days.

I bought a pair of these the other day to supplement a pair of the Russets that I love. They're definitely heavier and thicker but they fit nicely. They do not have a phone pocket which is a drawback but I would consider myself a fan for sure.

Picked up the cronin in the hieroglyph colour with the intention of using them as a work pant (routesetting, carpentry, etc) but now they're an essential. Roomy enough to be comfortable to climb in, and the articulated knees help extra for mobility. The canvas material isn't overly heavy in weight, but i've dragged them up boulders and they hold up incredibly. For reference I am 5'11 and around 72kg with a 30inch waist, size 30x30 fits perfect.

I bought these pants for everyday use while up at our ski cabin. They are perfect for wearing on off days where I'm taking care of cabin chores - from firewood, to packing gear/water, shovelling etc. Very durable, dry relatively quick (compared to denim) and have some good pockets for keys/wallet/phone

I now have 5 pairs of these pants. Very durable and love the look and feel. Arc'teryx has great customer service and will go above and beyond if you have any issues.

Was finally able to get a pair in my size 34/35 as they are constantly out of stock... I keep checking back because I'd like 2 or three more pairs. They're the perfect pant for causal wear and hiking through the woods.
They fit perfectly through the waist/upper legs. They are more of a straight cut pant. They are FAR from MC Hammer Baggy and wouldn't even be considered a boot cut. If you're into the skinny jean look for whatever reason, these aren't the pants for you.

Love these pants. Durable and fit my husky size. I've got large quads and find it hard to find climbing pants that fit...that includes most Arcteryx pants. These just fit. I have two pairs and will be buying a third as time goes by. Good for casual use and hiking.

Have bought this pant for the last 10 years . Live the fit and material. So versatile .
I saw there was a new color (hieroglyph) so decided to add to my collection. I bought two pairs early this year, (previous generation, grizzly / carbon copy) in 32-32 which has been my size for pretty much the last 10 years. This has always been a pair of pants I don't need to try on, I can just order them.
I received the new pants ( hieroglyph) and washed them , machine dried.
They fit quite big , not the waist though. They are considerably longer and quite baggy which I dislike. I don't know if this pant has been "revised" or the patterning changed or sized poorly. Even compared to a previous generation Cronin that hasn't been washed they are bigger side by side. I realize the Cronin is a comfier/roomy fit but this isn't consistent with men's sizing of a 32 waist / 32 inseam. Otherwise I'm an Arcteryx fanboy .

I'm borderline body type for athletic clothing and gear, 38 inch waist and large thighs. These pants fit like no other I've spent most of my adult life wearing jeans, but will never go back: the Cronin Pants give a perfect fit and yet do not look too baggy for a disproportioned lower body type. They have a sturdy feel to them and are equally fashionable. I will wear nothing else now that I've discovered them.

This is my third pair in several years. I love these pants. They fit great, a little bigger but not much. I can wear them anywhere (my wife strongly disagrees, lol ) and I feel great in them!
On my first pair, the zipper broke- one of the metal teeth fell out and that was that. Unfortunately. Also, they seem to loose colour pretty fast with each wash. Doesn't bother me too much, I'd still wear them to Sunday brunch.
And the price...well they are expensive. I wish the price was around 90 - 100, but what do you do, right? I still love them.

Nice pant, but surprisingly not quite the same cut as other Arc pants. I would say this is a bit more true to size and more "loose" than the typically tighter/athletic fit of Arc pants. Space is generous below the knee to the ankle - to the point that they'd easily go over thick boots. Not quite what I like, but definitely quality pants.

Tried these on in a store, both 34 and 36 waist. LOVED them, lusted for them, actually, the perfect answer to my fall/winter casual trouser needs, but...but, they didn't fit. I fell right in between. Please, please add some odd sizes. A 35/32 would be perfect.

Perfect all around pants for high country life. I live in Vermont and pants are great for everything. I wear them out in the evening, but are good for hiking and outdoor activities.

This pants are incredible. I think of them as jeans for the 21st century. They are lighter, thinner than jeans but way more durable and more comfortable. You have an incredible range of motion thanks to articulated knee joints and gusseted crotch. The canvas fabric ultra-tight weave that is ultra-durable. These pants kick butt for doing yard work, gardening with thorns, working on cars, etc. They are as comfortable as wearing pajama pants - I find myself lounging around in them after a long day's work. These are my favorite pants period for any activity. I am in love.
However, I do wish they had a slim cut option since they fit a bit baggy around the ankles. I know they are meant to cover up boots to protect against the elements. I wish there was a more casual option that could be worn like jeans. Less heavy duty and more every day. Those pants I would buy in a hurry!
