This shoe is the real deal! I have tried many different brand of running shoes and found Asics have worked the best for me. I have been faithful to Noosa until the Tri 8's.For some reason I feel like the comfort and arch of the shoe has completely changed, and my feet have definitely noticed! I debated and read MANY reviews on what to try. Finally I gave in and bought these and I am not one bit sorry. These are the real deal! Extremely comfortable, no breaking in and no pain! I will agree that you need to size up in these.

The sendai 2 has the most forefront cushion of any asics that I've tried...which is alot. This shoe felt amazing! Immediately relieved the pain in my feet, knees and legs. Not too much cushion in the heel, the preleus is great for that. My last shoe was the kayano 18 and I thought that was great until I tried the sendai 2. If you are looking for more cushion for the balls of your feet, get this shoe!! As with all asics, order a half size larger than you normally wear, they are always tight in the toe box.

Asics are my favorite running shoes...I've been running for over 20 years and have developed the usual, plantar fasciitis, sprained ankles, etc. and I find that no running shoe helps with my running like Asics; the Gel-Sendai have not disappointed!

I usually wear an 8.5 but ordered up a size to a 9. My toes hit the front of the shoe without socks on so with socks on I am thinking I will need a 9.5. Do order up a size in these shoes.

Love these shoes! My feet had begun to hurt from lack of padding on the ball of my feet. These have hit the mark on support. Can't say enough good about them. I always order 1/2 size up in athletic shoes (9 up to 9-1/2). Fit was perfect. Happy feet!

My foot doctor originally recommend this brand to me. I injured my foot sever years ago. My foot doctor recommend 4 brands of athletic shoes to me and ASICS are the best for me. I purchased this shoe about a month ago and love it. Good support, holds my foot in proper alignment, and all round comfort. I am ordering more colors.

I don't run. With that said, I absolutely loves these shoes. The fit is perfect, the colors are strong, and they're a party for my feet. I'm always looking for something eye catching for the feet and I found it here. Love Asics, they never wear out! I'm still getting compliments on Asics Noosa's I bought 2 years ago. This Asics Gel-Sendai 2 runs a little smaller all around compared to the Noosa's. The shiny purple is to die for! Life's too short to wear boring shoes. Go for it!

I am a 45 year old who flirted with running for years. Last year I got serious and completed my first half marathon. I had always worn Asics, but last year I tried a few at the local running store and went with the Brooks Ghost. They got me through, but I always felt like I was missing something. I purchased the gel Sendai a couple of months ago and they currently get about 15 miles per week, but that will soon ramp up to 20 and then 25 per week. The first run was a little disappointing. I thought the toe box was going to be too narrow. I also ran in them without my trusty inserts thinking the shoe itself would be enough. Turns out I just need my inserts. The next few runs were much better and the toe box is actually better with the inserts. Go figure. They look great, and I have less fatigue with my longer runs. Expensive, but I think in the long run they will be well worth it.

I have 2 pairs of the Asics Kinsei 4. The first pair held up pretty well, but the second pair the stitching tore out on the sides after 3 weeks of working out in them. So, I thought I would try the Sendai 2. I normally wear a 6.5/7 in Asics and the 7 ran very small. The toe box is what made me send them back to Zappos. It is very tight/narrow. I have decided to order the 7.5 and see if they run any bigger in the toe box since I liked the look and color of the purple/hot pink/yellow. If the 7.5 don't work them I may try the Kinsei's 5.

I am a runner and have been a faithful Asic Kinsei buyer. This time around I thought I'd give the Sendai a try. After running 3 miles and doing a weight lifting class, I was ready to take them off. The toe box feels too big and these seem to run very wide. I do have a narrow foot but have never had an issue with any other Asics shoe. I am returning these and going back to what I love, the Kinsei.

I am a true Asics fan, and this pair of shoes had the cushioned feel in the ball and heel I love when finding a pair of tennis shoes to use for everyday wear. However, I would recommend choosing a half-size smaller than normal when ordering this shoe, because I had unexpected extra length in the toe area when ordering my typical size.

Love these shoes! My first pair of Asics and I'm in love! Colors are beautiful and they are so comfortable! Based on other reviews I ordered a half size larger and they fit good. I couldn't be happier with these!

Great shoes. They felt great on my first run with them. I order 1/2 size up on the ASICS.

Great shoe! I have plantar fasciitis - this shoe gives the needed support in the arch area and is very comfortable. I normally wear a 10 1/2 AA - this shoe fits my narrow foot nicely but yet gives enough toe room .. love this shoe - love the style well worth the extra money!

Let me start by saying that I only wear Asics when it comes to athletic shoes. This particular style is extremely supportive and comfortable. I have found that some of their cheaper styles do not have enough ball support for exercise on hard surfaces, but that is not the case with their higher end styles like this one. I love the neutral color. I find that some of the colors lately scream, "Look at my feet!" I always go up half a size from my usual size with Asics.

I love these shoes! They are fun bright colors, very comfortable and make me feel taller. I read comments on them running small, so I ordered half a size up and I am glad that I did. They are not tight at all or too big, but if I go on a run I would tighten the laces up more than just walking around in them.

I really wanted to like this shoe. However, I prefer a wide toe box. On this model it was narrower than on previous Asics I've purchased. Great support, though.

Love these sneakers. I can't say Asics are consistent in sizing as I need a half size larger than normal in these and a full size larger in another style. I have a bad knee and run about 5 miles. They really absorb the impact. Will purchase again.

I work in the emergency room so I am on my feet all day. These shoes are super comfortable even with the swelling that I sometimes get from being on my feet non-stop. They are also very stylish and look great under my scrub pants. I get many compliments.

These are so comfortable and lightweight, yet provide good support. I always order 1/2 size larger in Asics and that was a good choice for this pair as well.

I absolutely love these shoes! I am a long distance runner and the Gel-Sendai 2 gives me the stability and support to prevent injuries!

After reading reviews, I ordered up a size. That was a mistake. Exchanged for my usual size 8 and very happy! I overpronate and find this shoe provides good arch support.

I have been running in Asics Shoes for over 12 years now. It seems Asics has gone more narrow in the toe box or my feet have gotten wider. This is the first pair of Asics that fit my feet perfectly! They have a little bit more room in the toe box extra cushion on the ball of my foot and supprt where I need stability so my ankles do not roll. This is definitely the best design Asics has had in a very long time! I ordered a half size larger than my normal and it fits perfectly.

I love the speed and free shipping from Zappos. I absolutely love these sneakers! Great support, the colors are great and I didn't have to drive to buy them! I love the fact that Zappos has a video of someone walking in the shoe. I knew what I was buying and they are perfect running/walking shoes. I am very happy with everything!

Wore these out of the box post foot surgery. Good support and padding. I recommend ordering a half size larger than you normally wear. I receive a lot of compliments on the colors of the shoe.
