Gloves are warm and comfortable, but after only four days of use the fabric has already to break down where the fingers connect to the palm. I was initially very happy with the product, but it seems like they are going to fall completely apart before two weeks pass.

I initially bought these liners hoping they'd make putting fleece lined winter glovers easier to put on when my fingers and hands were damp. To my amazement, I only needed to wear these LINER gloves on a recent backcountry hike in the Cascades. Much of the hike in bushwhacking conditions through snow 24 (and more at times) inches deep. (I did have two pair of insulated winter gloves in my pack.) As you can imagine in such conditions with snow covered deadfall, blowdown and brush, my hands were always making contact with snow. The only time my fingers felt cold was when I took off the liners. Even when thoroughly soaked, my fingers were warm. I've not had this level of comfort through such conditions with any other glove, to include (supposedly) waterproof gloves.

I ride a motorcycle year-round and own 4 pairs of glove liners, in search of a pair that really work. I can stop now. These liners win hands down. They are soft, breathable, look classy (esp.with the embossed logos) and most importantly, increase the warmth of my hands significantly. They are noticeably warmer than my other 3 pairs. My hands lean toward the large size and they fit perfectly snug because they are stretchable. I can easily wear these under any of my riding gloves (summer or winter) and they don't bunch up in the process. The fingers are a tad too long but they pull up easily and again, don't bunch up. They are thin by design but don't feel like it. They have a feel of high quality. Best pair I have ever come across by far.

The gloves are cute, but thin and the fingers are ridiculously long. I have long fingers too, usually a women's large in gloves and there is an extra quarter of an inch on each finger. If I scrunch them down each finger they are okay, but they do not "fit like a glove".

Just like prior reviewers mentioned, the fingers on these gloves are about an inch too long, and this is when they are unstretched. Fingers are way too long so I sent these back.

Fingers ran long. I’m a woman with pretty long fingers but Size medium had fingers that were too long for me.

They're nice gloves so far. The term, "liner" confuses me; they're just lightweight, although (winter not here yet) very warm since they are SmartWool. I don't know if they will hold up in the woods or not, we'll see...you asked for the review now. But I like them, they seem good so far.

This is my third pair of Smartwool Liners. I use them for running, and they are the perfect thickness down to pretty low temps. Being 95% wool, they maintain most of their warmth even when wet, and the new "touchscreen" ability on thumb and forefinger are just "icing on the cake."

Not a big deal but these don’t have the icon on them as pictured. There is a tag on the right glove cuff instead.

Item had threads sewn together right on the thumb pad. Very annoying. Smartwools replacement said it would take 4-6 weeks and they want the defective ones sent back. A waste of paper for shipping, fuel for transit and customers time for their lack of quality control.

I have owned several of these over many years. I say "many" because they last a long time. As others have said they really are more than liner gloves. They keep my hands warm around town and a LOT of dog walks. The latest version has knit the thumbs in such a way that it's VERY easy to see which one goes on which hand - even in low light.

I wear these for my everyday gloves. They are really warm but not bulky. I have several pairs and I keep this stuffed in jacket pockets.

So far so good. I have worn the gloves in temperatures ranging from the 20s to mid 40s and they have kept my hands warm. I tend to have cold hands and there were usually comfortable by about 10 minutes into the run. No complaints, just what I expected.

My favorites. Best running gloves I have found and somehow keep my hands so warm. Better than ones than are water proof

I kept looking (and purchasing) for gloves to run in...until I found these four years ago. And, I just purchased my second pair! If my feet and hands are warm I can run year around (Nashville, TN). Thank you!!!

These liners are the first liners I have found to be worthwhile. I pair them with a mitten shell and the combo is perfect in the cold temps. The liners are great for "not too cold" runs as well.

I bought these as a liner glove. They seem like a really nice glove but I should have gotten one size smaller.

These Liner Gloves are not thick, but they very warm and comfortable. I have worn them alone and under the Cozy Grip Flip Mitts for extra warmth. These are my first pair of Smart Wool gloves, bought with the Cozy Grip Flip Mitts, and I think I am hooked!

I needed a liner gloves for bike rides and I'm so happy for these!! They are definitely warmer than my old one (different brand) and surprisingly the touchscreen part works really well. I just wish the finger tips were tighter and more form fitting.. and not so flat/bigger. But overall, super satisfied!!
