My experience was different than the other reviewer. I wear 10 1/2 - 11 wide. I got 11W, and these were very tight width and felt more like a 10 or 10 1/2.

WIDTH IS NOWHERE NEAR AN EXTRA WIDE. LOOKS MORE LIKE A 'D'/MEDIUM

I've worn a medium width for years, but these shoes (medium width) are uncomfortable tight and the toe box is extremely narrow.

I bought these for my son in college. He loves them. Very comfortable and stylish.

Great looking shoe and very comfortable. I feel that these run a little large but still have a nice fit. Nice build quality.

The Narrow size in this shoe is not truly narrow..great quality shoe, but I had to return mine because of its being too wide.

I bought these for a trip to Las Vegas and they were available in wide widths. Slipped on and off easily at the airport security checks. They were so comfortable, that I kept them on the rest of that evening in Vegas.

Comfortable right out of the box. Sebago quality always good.

Great style but it looks a little dressier than the photos making it better suited for dressier clothes. Best for nice casual/low dress and a bit much for jeans.

Great shoe! Excellent quality they do run a bit big. As far as arch support its a boat shoe it's flat add insole if needed I put one in for extra cushion but they look great with shorts or chinos.

Comfortable straight from the box. A nice casual slip on boat shoe that can go from the boat to the restaurant.

The shoe is very stylish, as well as comfortable and how can you go wrong with Zappos? You can't.

I have a very large and wide foot and this particular model fits comfortably and seems true to size. The soft leather requires no break-in and I like the "sticky" sole.

I have wide feet, and I bought this shoe to be extra wide. I think the recommendation to get a little wider than you normally would is true. I've had the shoes for a few weeks now, and they wear in really nicely. I gave comfort only 4 stars, because the shoes had little places where the thread & glue made a point that was poking the back of my foot. I used a nail clipper to take out these spots, and it worked fine. The shoes are really comfortable now.

These shoes are awesome and exactly what I wanted (A penny loafer with a rubber sole and low heel). They are unlined and will be great for the summer, they also look good enough to wear to work (in Seattle). I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel. I bought the Wide width. They are fine in the forefoot but wide in the heel causing some slippage. I think that is the nature of wide shoes. It is not the worst I have seen. Doing it over again I would buy the medium width and deal with them until they stretched out.

I've been wearing Top Siders for years, but the Sloop has superior leather, construction, and style - plus no bothersome leather laces. It's more expensive than the Top Sider, but I think well worth it. I hope that Sebago never discontinues the Sloop.

WW size is about right. I usually wear 3W so it is a little tight. Tough to find 3W in boat shoes. Shoe photographs a little better than it looks in person, to me. I am going to keep it as it hard to find the more ideal example of the boat shoe I had in mind.
