This is a beautiful color and lovely bag overall but the strap is way too short to wear crossbody. I'm 5'4 and the bag sits at chest level. I'm disappointed because it came up when I searched specifically for crossbody bags and the description claims it's a crossbody strap. Will have to return.

This is my first Donney & Bourke bag, and I choose the Strawberry red. My only comment is that the color is mislabeled. I would call it Strawberry pink. I still liked the color and bag, and kept it. I have had expensive Burberry purses, Le Saks, etc, and this is my favorite purse. It has the best combination of function and style. It is the little details, such as the smoothness of the zipper, which make it stand out. I also like how it manages to look a bit formal, as it is a leather satchel, but still look fun due to the British tan leather trim. It is labeled a medium purse, but it is on the smaller side for the category. I manage to carry a large leather wallet, cell phone, tissues, a small tablet, and 2 cloth bags (the bags have roll-up features). So, it is big enough for me. I like my purse :-)

The zipper is hard to open and close

Very nice medium sized purse with a very substantial zipper. Zipper is larger than average and a little stiff - hoping it loosens with a bit of use. Color is slightly less orangey than appeared in photo. Very nice neutral. Will pair with most clothing.

This purse is just right for me. I'm short and it's great for me. Love the color yellow. Love the leather on this purse. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am

This bag is "hands down" the most beautiful bag I have ever carried! I love the double zip design, so that it opens wide to see and fit lots of contents. The aqua color is my favorite and matches my luggage like a dream. I get so many compliments on this gorgeous bag. I love that I can use it as a satchel or as a Crossbody with removable long strap.

My husband gifted me this for Valentine's Day and I'm seriously in love! It's such a sturdy bag and the color is perfect for spring as an everyday handbag!

I bought this bag for my daughter for a Christmas gift. She's had it on her wish list for two years (and still hadn't changed her mind!), so I finally broke down and made the investment. She loves it! She's very petite at five-feet-nothing, but it's perfect. Not too small where she could barely fit anything in it, but not too large for her small frame. She wanted the caramel color and I have to say it was a wise choice. It goes great with jeans and still look classy (of course with Dooney!) for a formal look. The only thing she would change would be for the strap to be a little longer so she could also wear it cross body. We may have to try to punch in a few more notches and make it even more versatile. The zip top really opens up the bag so you can easily find whatever you're looking for. It also holds it's form and won't get slouchy. This bag will last a very long time and will never go out of style. She now has a wonderful start to a Dooney collection!

Beautiful quality bag, was larger than I expected and would hold a lot of items. Love that when you open the bag it opens wide so you can see everything in the bag! The strap that comes with the bag is short and would only work over the shoulder, not as a crossbody. I was looking for bag that can work as crossbody when not carry by handles so returned.

I recently ordered the Zip Zip satchel in the Strawberry color(I wanted the purple but can't find it anywhere). This is a beautiful purse and there were both pros and cons for me. I am short and this was a good size for me--the shoulder strap worked for me and I loved the leather on the bag. I liked the way it opened wide so you could easily find things, and I liked the interior pockets. However, I wasn't crazy about the color once it arrived-it had more of a light red color to it than I wanted. If you are looking for a "strawberry/raspberry" color, this is the one for you. I also decided that I didn't like the handles vs shoulder strap style. Because I am short, I usually like a purse that has 2 longer handles that I can slip over my shoulder. I felt it didn't look as good with a shoulder strap on it because the 2 leather handles are fixed in place. I am returning it because of these issues but it is definitely a beautiful purse and if those issues don't bother you, you will love it. I will continue to look for something similar from Dooney & Bourke as I have never owned one of their bags and I loved the quality of it. Also love the ease of returning things to Zappo--that alone will bring me back to their website!!

I ordered this in the hot pink, which they seem to be out of at the moment. First let me describe the color and then get to the bag itself. Like the two blue selections there are two pink colors, a softer almost coral toned pink which is called bubblegum and a brighter truer pink, the that they are calling hot pink. I'm not a fan of most peachy shades of pink so I went with the latter. But in person, I think the warmer toned hue of the bubblegum would look better with the British tan/medium brown shade of trim Dooney is using with this bag. So, based on how the hotpink/ medium brown trim color combo looks at home, I may be returning this. Not sure because otherwise, the bag is wonderful. It's a great medium size that doesn't overpower. I am 5ft 2 and though I need a larger bag for all the stuff I carry, sometimes they look crazy on me. This is great...it is large enough to hold my makeup bag, full size large wallet, phone, sunglasses, and other things, while still having a slimmer profile and looking elegant enough to take to restaurant. It's tailored looking enough for my professional work looks, and casual enough with the British tan trim to wear with jeans. Love that there are two zippers to open on this and that the whole bag really opens up vs just opening halfway down. Also love that there are feet, which I think are a must have with a structured shape bag. A negative for me is that there is no outside pocket, but I knew that when I went to buy it. I find it relatively light when empty as well, especially compared to some other Dooney bags, so that is good. At this price, also, I feel this is a great value for a better name leather bag. Many are 300 and 400 dollars these days. All in all, if I felt sure about liking the color combo, I would keep it, but for now, I am debating. Great thing about Zappos is that I can take some time to make my final decision with their awesome return policy!

Got this in French blue -beautiful color & leather; sadly returning - I really do not care for two sets of handles on a bag; need a larger bag I can carry cross-body style, this one the strap is too short.

Very nice quality and the color is delightful. Rich and not harsh and very different. Really love the feel of the leather. Zipper was stiff at first, but a little vaseline did the trick.

Perfect size bag

This was my first Dooney and Burke purchase. Nice leather bag and color. Fast shipping. I found a dirty key in the purse which was odd. Don’t know if this purse had been returned or where the key came from.

Looks and feels exactly how I expected. Once again Zappos is THE source to obtain items at a reasonable price. Customer service is excellent. Delivery is in a blink of an eye. Will definitely be back.

So, I should know better by now that choosing a color on a handbag online is risky! While I love everything about this purse - perfect size for me, nice leather scent and very easy access to contents of purse - the teal color I chose is definitely not what I consider teal. It looks more like a dark forest green to me. I wear a lot of deep blue-green teal but this bag coordinates with nothing in my wardrobe! Maybe the terrific sale price should have been my clue but I was just so happy with the find that I ignored it. Now I see other local stores carry this bag in midnight blue which is what I'll try next. As always, though shipping was lightning fast and we always try Zappos first in our search!

Beautiful leather purse- I can fit more items inside than I expected. It’s rigid enough to open/close zipper with one hand which is convenient. Very well made, I’m very happy with my purchase.
