These shoes were everything I hoped they would be, comfortable, supportive and able to hold orthotics well. I did get them a size larger as other reviews suggested.

I have purchased the same New Balance shoes (MW968) three times in six years. I ordered the same size I had been ordering and this time they came in a full size too small. I was ordering a size 9EE, I reordered a size 10EE and the fit was perfect. I did not look at size chart the first time since I already had a couple pairs. After reviewing the size chart, I noticed that size 10 is the exact match for my foot measured in centimeters and inches. The last pair of MW968 shoes had a tongue that was too stiff where sewn to side uppers and had to be broken-in for weeks. This pair was comfortable right out of the box.

I am a power washer in New Jersey. Have been getting these water proof shoes for over 6 yrs. They last me 2 seasons and are always wet on a daily basis.

These are nice shoes, but they are too small. I wear size 11. I ordered the shoes in size 11½, but the 11½ that I received is more like a 10½. That is too bad!

I wear inserts to prevent Plantar fasciitis so I require very solid shoes, especially at the heel end. These have that solid construction. With the inserts in, these shoes feel great in every way. A good investment for casual wear and well constructed as a walker shoe. Normal size for me is US 10.5 D. Bought these at size US 11 2E, after trying them on. I wondered especially about the width but they fit perfectly. Be sure to try these on with the socks you will wear with them. If ordering by mail, up the size by a half and up the width some.

My husband says these are super comfortable. I should have read the reviews about needing to order them 1 size larger. They are fantastic though!

Just picked these up yesterday and made sure to order a 1/2 size larger than normal after reading the reviews. The length felt true to size in my case so there's a bit of extra room in the front I'm going to fill with an insole. I think it'd be better to step up a width size larger than you normally order. They feel a bit narrow to me, but the cushioning of the material makes them extremely comfortable. Even more than my 990's. The nubuck looks great too. I bought these to sneak into the office where my 990's weren't up to dress code. They're like undercover sneakers.

I have a 10B foot with Redwing shoes and got a 10EE and that was just a little snug with the New Balance. Great shoe.

I need a shoe that could handle the weather with a more aggressive sole. This has it, but the shoe runs small, I had to get a full size larger (11 to a 12) and I have always got a EEEE width. Even with width, it still tight. Hope the shoe will loosen up with wear. Love Zappos, this was the third pair that I tried.

I have, of late, been very disappointed with New Balance. I need their narrow shoes, though. These, finally, are okay. They run a bit small. The soles are very spongy -- I think I'll get used to that. I'm buying a 2nd pair before they go out of production.

I wear a 12-B in shoes. After reading reviews, I ordered a LARGER size; a 12.5 Medium. My toes were touching the end, so I put on some thin dress socks; my toes still touched the end. I reordered in size 13, a full size larger, which I have never worn that size in any shoe in my 64 years.

Sorry to say, but New Balance is making their shoes from different forms, which are smaller than they used to be. A 14 X wide is way too tight now. Older styles of this size fit fine.

These are very nice looking shoes but they run narrow. We ordered a 2EE and they were too narrow so will reorder them in a 4EE! My husband has never had to order a 4EE in the past. Do hope they work because he liked the shoes otherwise.

Nice shoe but sizing was way off. I usually wear a 12 (Mephisto) or 13 (New Balance). I ordered this in a 13 and couldn't get my foot in the shoe. Now trying a 14 because I like the shoe.

I'm pretty consistently 10 1/2 4E, and have owned a fair amount of New Balance shoes in this size. These shoes ran smaller than I'm used to in that size. When I compared them to another pair I had (of New Balance shoes, brown leather), they were noticeably shorter. I tried 11 2E instead: those seemed about as long as I'd have expected for 11 shoes, and the arch ended too far forward for my foot. So it's not a full-size off. Neither one fit.

I wore these shoes on a trip last week to France and Italy. With little break-in time they were extremely comfortable as I walked in them all day. However, my feet sweat lots, even with moisture wicking socks.

After returning 11.5 Narrow and ordering 12 Narrow, they are still too short and now the width is starting to get too wide. Back they go again! Some much for New Balance have good sizing. The Dunhams I usually order fit at 11.5 Narrow and they are made by New Balance. Good thing they are from Zappos!

One shoe seemed smaller than the other. My husband does not usually have this problem. Liked the style but had to return.

Nice shoe but way smaller then the normal New Balance sizing and New Balance is only what I buy due to my foot width. I normally get a 10.5/4E and never have had a problem. On the first try (10.5/4E) this shoe was too short, on the second try (11/4E) it was minimally longer but much tighter on the width. I am sending it back again for a 11.5/6E and hope that works. I like the style and it seems well made but the sizing is an issue.

Fall 2015. I walk a minimum of 2 miles per day. In the past (10 years) I wore a 12 B in this style of New Balance. I purchased 12.5 B and they are still too small. The heel cup is smaller than normal. The toe box is too narrow. The shoe is too short. I wish I had asked ZAPPOS to send a 13 B and 13.5 B for comparison. I can't wear a M width shoe because it will wear blisters in the heel. This is a well constructed shoe. Men should order this shoe as if they are shopping in the women's shoe section. If you have experience with this shoe, have ZAPPOS send multiple shoes two and three steps (sizes) larger than you wore in the past for you to find the one size that actually fits your feet.

Very disappointed. I usually wear size 13s. Because the reviews say that this shoe feels one size smaller, I ordered 14s -- but even 14s were a mite too small. Zappos -- maybe you need to add a size category for "felt more than a full size smaller."

I wear size 12 but after reading reviews, I ordered 12.5s. They were too small and I returned them and ordered 13s. They seemed okay at first but they never seemed to break in and I haven't worn them for 4 months. They are tighter than any size 12 that I have ever owned and I think the left shoe is slightly smaller than the right. These shoes are more than a full size smaller than marked.

I think this shoe has a serious design flaw. I have worn 10.5D for 40 years and an 11.5D doesn't work. I am willing to try an 11.5 EE since they don't make an E.

I liked the New Balance shoes. I've always ordered that brand, but this shoe runs a half size smaller and they don't make a 12 and a half size.
