I'm a runner & fitness instructor. I have been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus for years. I buy a new pair every year. These shoes have no cushion at all! My worn ones are more comfortable! What happened Asics, trying to cut cost!? Very disappointed!

I'm an avid wearer of Nimbus since the 12s. I loved the 12s with the cushion and asymmetric lacing, but needed some more structure. The 13s had the structure, but not as cushy. The 14s were totally flat and were unwearable. The Nimbus 15s are by far my favorite with the pillowy entry, cushion, weight and durability. So, now the Nimbus 16..they are more structured across the top of the foot, but the cushion of the 15s are gone. Also, the sole/heel has changed so, it feels as though there's a heel cup. After only 2 runs, I started getting discomfort in my heel...so, back they go and I'm on the hunt for more 15s. Asics...keep the good cushion and sole of the 15s...why change a great thing!

These shoes are the best! I am a larger woman and I walk about 25 miles per week. I had a pair of New Balance but when I reordered them 1 year later they were not the same. So I tried Asics GEL-Nimbus 16. They were like walking on a cloud. I am so glad I found them and I highly recommend them.

I really wanted to like these. Really. But I got them and another pair of another brand and these were not wide enough. They had to go back. I was sad. The look of these looked so much better than the ones that properly fit my feet. Unfortunately, I have to go with fit over fashion. I have wide feet, I hate that and lately, Asics hasn't been offering the double wide that they used to offer on here, why is that? Anyway, I'm sad to have to send these back because they visually looked better than the shoes that fit me better.

I love these shoes. I used to be loyal to Asics Gel-Cirrus33 but bought these since they were discontinued. They are super comfy and provide great support for my flat feet!

I used to wear & love Asics but they've gotten more narrow in the forefront & smaller in size. The latter is easily dealt with (always wore a 9 1/2 in them, now trying 10's) but not much I can do about the width since I already order a wide. I need a good running shoe with narrow heels but wide in the forefront. Asics used to be good in this respect but are now pinching a bit in width as they seem to be getting progressively more narrow in the toe box. This style has a bit more width, due to slightly rounder toe than some of their other styles (eg, Gel Kayano), but still not enough for me. Afraid this one is going back too. Could live with it if I had too but afraid of it rubbing on little toe, and also not nearly as cushioned as previous models (and less cushioned than some of their other styles). Also arch seems slightly off to me in this one. So for the price I need it to fit better! Have already sent back several others Asics. I would have kept the Gel-Kayano but the 9 1/2 was both too narrow and slightly too short but the 10 still not wide enough yet too long in length. Looks like I'll be giving up on Asics and trying Saucony. Disappointing. Asics, please don't keep changing a good thing -- you're losing long-time customers. Excellent support. I can really feel the extra spring type cushioning in the heel more than any other athletic shoe I have owned. I always get athletic shoes one full size larger than my usual shoe size.

I have high arches and these Asics were suggested.These shoes are great for running around the neighborhood on concrete as well as on the treadmill. Zappos service is amazing as well!

I have flatish feet that are in between wide and normal- These are a perfect fit and don't stretch out all crazy- My go to shoes!

Pink, comfortable and functional! What else can you ask for in a sport shoe! Asics has always had a comfortable shoe. I have a wide foot and a high instep. This shoe works well for both. Plenty of room in the toe-box and arch support as well. I use it for circuit training, elliptical and walking.

These shoes are amazing. I have only purchased the men's version of this in the past due to my massive feet, but now that they have a women's size 12, I tried them out. I've worn these working out at the gym and on a couple runs so far. It feels like I'm running on a cloud of pillows. Love them. I've found my new go to shoe. Don't ever stop making these.

I am a 57 year old - the stages of flat feet are slowly approaching according to my podiatrist. It's hereditary. The doctor told me these shoes would be best for my feet. She was right! They feel amazing and I work out without pain or expensive arch supports. I like them so much I ordered 2 pairs! Amazing shoes!

Awesome shoe! I've been wearing Nimbus for a few years now. Love them! Also, love the colors in this particular one! It looks even better in person! Also, Zappos is the fastest shipping company around. Ordered this pair at 4:30 one evening and had it by 10am in the next day.

This is my third pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus shoes and I still love them! i have high arches and need to wear custom insoles for extra support, and there's plenty of room for those. Also need a shoe that is pretty stable in the forefoot to protect my toes from too much bending, these do that as well. I put in 40 miles a week walking on a firm sandy beach and they were comfortable every mile!

My shoes arrived a lot quicker than I expected. I loved the service and I love my shoes!!! I will definitely use Zappos again in the future and would recommend to anyone!

For athletic shoes, I normally wear 7.5 medium, but for this Asics, I had to order 8 wide. I've heard Asics shoes not made in China seem to have different sizing. This Asics was made in Indonesia. I first ordered 7.5 wide, but it was still too small. I exchanged it with 8 wide, and it fits well.

I have high arches and so there are only a few shoes designed for that profile. These shoes fit perfectly right out of the box and were like running on clouds the first run. I usually have bought Cumulus and these were my first Nimbus. I actually also tried a pair of Cumulus but returned them. The Cumulus felt hard and loose even though the same size. The Nimbus were great at first try. I usually buy half size larger than my shoe size and it worked for me here too. Highly recommend.

Great pair of shoes. Definitely runs very small. In my case I went up a full size. The top of the shoes are very ventilated. It's winter time here and when I walked outside, a very cool breeze came into the shoe. Definitely not made to keep your feet warm on a 10 degree day.

Love these shoes! I wear a size 12 in regular shoes and my feet are narrow. Ordered the size 13 (because I always go a size up for running shoes) and there was a AA narrow available, so I ordered it. They fit perfect. Ran 30 miles this past weekend with no foot pain or blisters. Just ordered another pair so I can rotate them in my running schedule. Thank you Zappos for carrying larger sizes!

I'll admit that I've never worn the gel Nimbus before this current pair, the 16, so I have no newer productions to compare it to... I LOVE THESE SHOES! I am a registered nurse who works in infusions. I am on my feet all day long and while wearing these I have yet to come home with achy feet. I was a big fan of the Brooks Pure Cadence, and I still love the look and feel, but they are a 6 compared to these 10's. I do believe the gel in these shoes make a huge difference in the cushioning and comfort! I am already exploring options for my next pair of gel Asics since I prefer subtle colors so that they will match more of my scrubs.

I LOVE these shoes! I have been searching for shoes that are good for underpronation (aka supination), because my feet roll to the outside pretty severely, causing knee pain and other issues if I do a lot of walking. These shoes have a lot of cushion, especially in the heels, great ankle support, and a nice, roomy toe box. I normally wear a 9W in sneakers, which is what I got in these, and they fit like a dream right out of the box. This is my first pair of Asics, and I have to say I'm impressed. I was worried they would be too heavy judging by their size, but they're surprisingly lightweight, so walking is actually pleasant. I actually feel a spring in my step! Love it. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that the only color available in wide width at the time I ordered was the crazy bright pink. But it's certainly a fun color, so I can't complain too much! ;-)

Love my Asics! Very comfortable. I have gotten a lot of compliments on these, everyone loves the colors! Asics are the only brand I wear.

Great shoes. Very comfy and supportive. I wear for everyday and walking. I love the bright pink color. They definitely are not muted. My first pair of Asics. While they won't keep me away from New Balance, I will consider them again in the future.

I have very high arches and was advised about this shoe. My Dr. doesn't want me to walk as far as I used to which was 4 miles a day. I am very happy with this shoe. I put them on when at home in the house because they make my feet feel that good!

ASICS GEL-Nimbus® 16 Review I bought these running shoes because I am an avid runner. I run approximately 10 miles per week, so a comfortable, yet durable shoe is essential for my wardrobe. The quality of the shoes is exceptional. The material is durable enough to hold up when running on a more rough terrain. I have ran over 40 miles in these specific shoes and I couldn’t be happier with how they have held up. There is one thing I would recommend potential buyers to consider before purchasing. The sizing does run small to size. About a half size smaller is how they fit, so when choosing the size keep in mind to go a half size up for comfortable wear. I am more than pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend ordering from Zappos.com! There are a wide variety of colors in this specific shoes that is sure to catch your eye!
