I really enjoy these shoes. I usually get 12W, but they were unusually tight in both width and length. Zappos did their usual great job and sent me a 13W the next day. I love this company! The new shoes are great. I tend to supinate when I walk. These offer great support and have been good on both trails and the road. I am going to order another pair!

Shipping was fast as usual with Zappos. These shoes are light and super comfy. I ordered them a half size large due to other reviews and size is still close to being small. The memory foam insole molds to your foot well and feels great.

I ordered a 9½W, my usual New Balance size. I had to return for a 10W. So I recommend ordering a half size larger.

The shoe feels great with the foam bedding but it does run a little small. It's a good thing for people like me who have narrow feet. I normally wear a 16B. Since that is hard to find, I took a gamble and ordered this in a 16D hoping it would run narrow. It did wind up being just right. It's a hair short lengthwise but nothing I can address by tightening up the laces a little up top.

4E seems wide enough and they seem comfortable enough for big feet. These shoes seem well made and have good quality.

I bought the New Balance 510v2 as a hiking shoe. I wore the New Balance 510v2 for a 400 mile hike, the shoe was very comfortable and very sturdy, and I think the shoe will last at least another 200 more miles. I wear a size 16 so I don't get a lot of choices when I shop for shoes but I am so happy with the New Balance 510v2 that I just bought two more pair for future long hikes. I highly recommend adding a good arch support for any hiking shoe.

I have a wide foot and have worn New Balance tennis shoes for many years. I found their sizes to be reliable from model to model over time. This shoe was shorter and slightly narrower than the tennis shoes I've been accustomed to. I exchanged them for a half size larger and the replacement shoes fit very well. They're a great all around walking shoe for me.

Originally ordered a 14 wide, too tight, absolutely no problem exchanging them for the 4E which fit perfectly and are impossible to find elsewhere. Look and feel great!

I love these shoes! I tend to supinate, and they work great for my feet. I have taken them on the trail a couple of times and walk in them daily.

At first they felt a little mushy on the sole and tight on top and at the toe, but now I love them. They conformed to my feet. They feel better every time I wear them, like supportive cushions. I recommend getting the wider size if your feet are at all wide. I got the 4E and they arent as wide as you might imagine, fit great. Nice for walking or running. And you gotta love the black laces.

I bought the shoes for my husband and he loves them. He has back problems and needs something light and comfortable. Well, these are his everyday shoes now! We are very satisfied with our purchase.

I bought these shoes for work (which has a concrete floor). Even though it's a trail runner, the sole is not knobby. I take a 11 EE but got the 4E and that fits well. The green adhesive insole is cheap but easily replaced with an after market insole. They look good and the mesh is reinforced in the front where the big toe pokes though on other shoes. Great price but plan on replacing the insole.

I bought these shoes for my 14 year old son and he is growing like a weed and is really hard on all shoes. Also there is not any green on the shoes it is blue.

I found these to be half a size too short and had to return them. They are literally that much smaller (about half an inch) than the New Balance running shoes I got on this site 5 years ago. I might have stuck with them, but my toes in that area went a little numb when I did a test run on a treadmill. I did find the memory foam insole to be very comfortable and clever though!

Shoes are great except on some tile floors they are like wearing ice skates -- don't know why. They are still brand new -- maybe in time they will get better?

Great support, fits great. The lace loops at the top feel a bit fragile though; I worry that they will eventually tear.

Ordered extra wide for my son, but the width was too narrow and as other reviewers mentioned, felt smaller than marked. The length was fine, but he said his foot felt squashed from the top to the bottom and the width.

These are really nice looking shoes. They started hurting my feet after a few hours, so I am sending them back. This is the first time size 11 was too short for my feet. I am guessing a packing error occurred at the factory. These shoes sure arrived fast though, and even though they hurt my feet and I cannot wear them, they sure are nice to look at.

Nice shoe, but it runs small. Outside of big toe rubs on the side. Width across the forefoot and instep feels right; it feels that the toe box tapers too quickly.

I bought a pair of new. Balance trail shoes size 10 last year. They fit good. I wore them on a trip to Peru and they worked and fit well. From the jungle to macho pichu. I used them for a year and they were worn out so I ordered a new pair. I took those to wear after elk hunting. They felt weird. They are both size ten but these are a little small you don't notice until you walk down hill. I'm sending them back.

Shoe feels cheaply made. The sole doesn't have as much support as previous New Balance shoes. Also, the eyelets for the laces aren't stitched that well and 2 of them came loose after 2 weeks of wearing them. I'm not sure what's going on with NB, quality seems to be going downhill.

This is significantly shorter and narrower than the same size in another NB model that I wear and like. I could barely get a shoe on my smaller foot, and did not bother trying the other shoe. Returned immediately.
