I want to personally thank the folks at Zappos for their incredible customer service. I ordered the wrong size Ugg boots for my wife's Christmas present and felt pretty bad when she opened them and discovered that they did not fit. I contacted Zappos return/exchange on the 26th and they shipped out the correct size at no charge. We had them by the very next day. That was amazing! You have earned a lifelong customer! Thank you again so much!

The essential short has a tread unlike other Uggs. It is very grippy and less likely to slip on ice or snow. They are the most comfortable boots I own. I have all four colors so I don't have to go a day without them!

I have worn Uggs for about 10 years or so. The past two pairs I got, within four months my toes had gone through the top. The first time I thought they were defective, so I called Zappos and they were great! They immediately shipped out another pair. Then, the same thing happened. I called Zappos and found out they are not made the same way anymore. So, I am on the hunt for new boots, with the same comfort of Uggs. This price is way too much money for boots that wear out in four months. Zappos was phenomenal through this and this is no was a reflection on them. I continue to buy from them, but just not the Uggs.

I did not expect these to be nice and pretty because this pair is not as popular as the classic ones. It actually exceeds my expectation. Better than the classic boots. Thanks, Zappos, for a great experience, as always.

I just love my Ugg boots I've had them for a year and nothing bad has happened to them other than my spilling water on them but the stain has gone away and my boots look just as new from when I bought them. People just don't know how to take care of their belongings because my boots are all that and then some.

These are beautiful. such a rich grey. I returned them for a pair with thicker fleece inside. This is the thinner Ugg fleece. Nothing wrong with this boot, I just wanted more of a plush experience.

Loving this boot. I agonized over the decision of what boot to get. I have real winter boots for taking the kids sledding, but I hate wearing them around town because they are a pain to put on, and aren't that comfortable to walk around in. I wanted something to throw on to walk from my car to into the gym, around town doing errands, or just to throw on to run a kid who'd missed the bus up to the school. I originally got Hunter wellies with the fleece sock since they seem so much more practical for Cleveland slushy weather. But the sock liner left no room for a sock much less my pants, and was incredibly uncomfortable to walk in, it felt like there were perma-sock wrinkles. So I came back to the idea of Uggs, something I swore I would never buy. I am completely in love with these boots and wishing I'd gotten them much earlier. The sole was a little stiff on the first day but has already loosened up on day two. Obviously if you're walking in 20 inches of snow these aren't the boots you want, but for errands around town and just staying warm, they are perfect! Sizing - I'm a 10.5 and ordered a 10, there is plenty of room. Must also make a note, this boot hunt was my first experience with Zappos and I am completely in love with them. Fast shipping, nice customer service, easy returns for the stuff that didn't work out.

Ugg boots are always outstanding in comfort and quality. Knock offs are never equal. I order a full size up in Ugg boots, I am an 8 but order the 9. Zappos service is top notch. I always order our shoes here because they arrive in 1-2 days!

My first disappointing Ugg. Love everything about the look of the boot. The disappointment is with the boot shaft. It's floppy and seems flimsy. Nothing like the other Uggs I own. I was expecting the short classic type boot with tread on the bottom. I decided to keep them because of the tread, but I wouldn't buy another pair.

I got these boots in 2004 and absolutely love them. I have never actually owned the regular bottom ones because I do not like the way they look. Upon reading these reviews though they are no longer made with the same care and quality. I had these in my cart ready to buy (mine have seen better days after almost 10 years) but now I think I will pass.

I own at least a dozen pairs of UGG boots and wear them almost exclusively from fall till spring.

These uggs are so comfortable. And they are true to size. And shipping was super fast.

Fantastic boots. These fit a bit slimmer than the classics, which I prefer. And these have traction on the bottom which I like.

Unfortunately at a 9 these were too large for my 8.5 feet.
