I ordered these shoes after a co-worker got a pair and swore they were like walking on air. She was so right! I have a high arch so flats often hurt after awhile...and most of my (cheaper) pairs rub or do something otherwise uncomfortable, thus defeating the purpose of having a flat shoe if you ask me. These are really amazing and stylish basic flats that I could wear all day from day one- no need to "break in," etc. They have enough padding in the foot to feel comfortable/supportive for extended wear/walking. I should have listened to reviewews that said go a half size up. I went ahead and got my typical size b/c even if a shoe runs small, I am almost always safe with my reg size. But, I had to send back for a half size bigger in this shoe. The shoe is really comfy but the back part does push your foot forward. After I write this review, I'm actually ordering another color in this shoe... love it so much!

Love! I had been waiting for a new Navy flat from Cole Haan as I have worn my last pair to the death! These are a perfect replacement. The color is spot on a dark navy patent leather. Super cushioned on the foot bed. Even though it does not say it has the Nike Air it certainly feels that way. The heel is actually very comfortable too. It does not dig in as other elastic flats do. Highly recommend this shoe! Will definitely be buying another pair in a different color!

These are the most comfortable flats I have ever owned -- and I own a bunch! I just ordered a second pair. I ordered half a size up because I find that the elastic at the heel pushes my foot forward.

I recently started buying leather shoes again for comfort and style reasons. I prefer to buy vegan shoes, and there are some cute vegan shoes out there but many of them are uncomfortable, wear out too quickly or are not professional looking. So, I have given in and bought a couple of pairs of leather shoes. The Cole Haan Manhattan Ballet flat is one of those pairs! I initially ordered the sandstone patent in a size 8.5 after reading so many reviews that said they run large. I normally wear a size 9. Unfortunately, the size 8.5 was too small and I had to return. The size 9 was perfect, a little tight on my right foot, but they have stretched some with wear. These shoes are cute, stylish, and comfortable. The best thing is I wore them right out of the box without much trouble. I had slight soreness where the elastic in the back rubs on my foot, but it wasn't so bad that I got huge blisters. I was able to wear them several days in a row after this, which often does not happen with a new pair of shoes. I highly recommend these flats! I want to get a pair in black now.

I pounced on these shoes because I have been looking for a new pair of navy/blue flats that I can both wear to work and on the weekends. I own two pairs of Cole Haan shoes and thought that the third time would be the charm. Sadly, no. As usual, I ordered half a size up (I find their shoes tend to run small.) My toes, however, were still jammed into the toe box area. Also, even though I ordered the medium width, the sides of the shoes spread out quite far. I think it is because these are semi-foldable flats. I am really surprised because these are Cole Haan's trademark flats, which garner a lot of reviews. They are clearly, not designed for my feet. They are very comfortable, a lovely midnight blue color and I liked the bow detail on the back. They are best worn with pants, though.

These run really small! I am usually between a 7½ and an 8. I bought these in an 8 and they were very small. They also had an area that rubbed the top of my foot but that might be a size issue. They are very cute.

I bought this shoes in black and they were delivered one hour before I left for a trip to Phoenix. I put them on and never took them off! Love them!

Love these flats! Very comfortable from the moment you slip them on and the leather looks expensive (glad I spent the money for a good pair of flats!). The bow detail is very nice touch. Definitely order a half size up, as the elastic in the heel does push your foot forward.

This shoe is amazing. Very comfortable. I am a chiropractor, so I am on my feet all day. Highly recommend this shoe!

I love the Cole Haan Nike Air collaboration. This is my second pair of flats from the line and I wore them straight out of the box. They're fantastically comfortable and perfect if you need to look formal but also be on your feet all day. I have yet to walk a lot in them, but for a flat these have solid arch support and the edges don't dig into my foot like a lot of other ballet flats. I'd say these are well worth the money.

Love these shoes - I bought them in navy and black, and I wear them almost every day to work. I stand at my desk, and these ballet flats look professional and keep my feet comfortable. I've also walked through the rain numerous times (the tag claims they are waterproof, and I agree), and they always dry out perfectly without anything more than a swipe across the toe to remove water spots. LOVE THEM! Wish they came in more colors.

These shoes are one of the rare pair that are comfortable from the first wearing. I've received many compliments on them. They are so neutral in color they go with anything.

Bought these for my daughter's homecoming dance... They were perfect and comfortable to dance all night and super cute!

So love these little beauties. I went up a half size after seeing some of the other comments, but almost wish I went up a whole size! I may take them to the shoe repair to get stretched. They are not unbearable, and are absolutely adorable! Highly recommend, but def. size up!

I originally purchased the nude pair about a few months ago. I loved them so much I purchased the black pair. They are so unbelievably comfortable and especially since I work all day on my feet. I have wide feet, usually 9½ or 10. I purchased a 9½ in the nude so naturally I ordered the 9½ in black. I had to return them because I was afraid the 9½ would be too small. I only wish that I kept the 9½ in the black as they will stretch!

These flats are the best. They're so comfortable, and super cute. I have them in black and nude and wear them every day at work.

Love these shoes. I have them in the sandstone patent. I am looking to order a new pair in a different color. I work on my feet all day and these remain comfortable all day. They were easy to break in.

Best nude flats I've found. I also ordered the "Vince Camuto Ellen" and the "cole haan Avery ballet". In the past, I've been a fan of Tieks as well. This pair is far superior to both the Vince Camuto and the Avery Ballet. The Vince camutos were the most reasonably priced but were very light in color (would be good for someone with fair skin) and not as comfortable as this pair. The Avery ballets were most expensive, were too wide and were uncomfortable. Tieks are probably the most comfortable flats I've found, but are also not sold on zappos and I don't love the high price point or signature turquoise sole. HOWEVER, this pair is stylish, comfy and decently priced! I love them. I bought them to wear for a wedding and they look great with the dress but are also cute paired with skinny jeans. I know I'll get a lot of use out of these flats and am considering ordering another color.

Great simple flats! As others say, they are really comfortable. I usually find the elasticized flats require me to go up a half-size because they push my foot forward. I normally wear an 8 in Cole Haan, so I got these in 8.5 and they fit GREAT. Would definitely recommend them.

Great Ballet Flat. I purchased the navy in a size 8 based on other reviews and it fit perfect. I was skeptical because in all of my other Cole Haan shoes I wear 8.5. I'm on my feet long hours on unforgiving surfaces and these shoes did a great job meeting my demands in offering a stylish and supportive shoe. I highly recommend, especially if you were an Air Bacara Fan.

Ordered half size up as others recommended. Am very satisfied with my purchase. Really like the color (sand/taupe/flesh), styling (bow with gold accents), and fit (no toe cleavage). Remind me of those perfect ballet shoes worn by Bardot, Simmons & Hepburn in the 60s. Will be great to carry with me to wear inside houses where "outside shoes" not allowed.

I typically can only buy shoes in wide. However, I was able to try a pair of these on at a Nordstrom's and the 8.5 medium was a great fit. (I typically wear an 8 wide.) On top of the convenience of being able to buy a medium width, the shoe is super comfortable, all leather, and looks great with summer skirts at work. I have a black pair that also worked well with shorts and a cardigan for casual wear.

So comfortable and stylish - the perfect basic. I needed a go with everything black flat I could wear at work and for my commute. Now that I have these I'll have to get them in some other colors, too. They're not super sexy but they are classic.

This flat was a nice surprise. First it fit my wide (with bunions) fit. They are more comfortable than I thought they would be. I purchased it in a 6C, in the Tan.
