These shoes are comfortable, stylish and awesome right out of the box! Everyone at work complimented me and kept staring at my shoes. I'm ordering another color ASAP cause I walked in these for hours with no rubbing, pinching, or ANYTHING! They feel like slippers with a soft heel. The toe box in ample without look "old lady-ish". The bottom is skid proof and solid and the shoes kept my feet warm. I have flat, over-pronation feet, so finding shoes I love to wear is difficult. The arch support literally cradles my arch with a soft pillow-like I'm sorry I just can't find enough words to express my satisfaction with these shoes. If all of the shoes made by this company are like this, they will be my new go-to brand from now on!

I was so excited to buy these shoes that I had my eye on for a while. The style is super cute. I was so disappointed when I finally got to see them in person. The glue was visible where sole meets upper. Perforations were incompletely punched out, also with visible glue on top of shoe. Misaligned seams visible through perforations on side of shoe. If I bought them at Payless for $30 it would be okay. However this poor level of quality is unacceptable at this price point. Will be returning.

If you like comfy, feminine, and timelessly classic shoes AND you like getting lots of compliments, buy these shoes. Right now. Seriously. These colorful oxfords are the reason I look forward to cooler weather. I have them in red. Best shoe purchase ever. I normally wear a 7.5 and my feet are slightly wide and these fit perfectly.

I am playing in an old-time folk band and I needed a shoe that looks kind of "thirties-ish." I have been looking for a while .. spotted this shoe, and even though it doesn't come in wide (the cute shoes rarely do) I thought I would at least give it a try, since another reviewer said she had a wide foot and was able to make this work. So I ordered it and out of the box, it looked teensy, like "How am I going to fit my Flintstone of a foot in that wee shoe?" but to my surprise, it did go in. To stretch it, I put a small round potato in each toe box, and then a big ol' roasting potato in the main part of the shoe and let it stretch for two weeks. I just put it on last night and they were surprisingly comfortable. I could even walk in them! I was so pleased! I'm not saying I could wear them all day at work, but I did wear them to work (I am a teacher) for three hours and it wasn't bad. So I could see being able to make it through a three-to-four-hour gig wearing these. I have a moderately wide foot with plantar fasciitis and I was able to wear and walk in this shoe for three hours. I can't wait to wear them out with a nice folky dress ... on stage.

I love these shoes. I got them in brown and they are fab. I've bought Spring Step before and I know that they are made with pizazz in mind and these are. However these, in my opinion, would never be classified as "comfort" shoes but Sstep uses fine leather that stretches and then stays that way. These shoes give you a tight fit which also means a tight toebox. There is no wiggle room so I used my shoe stretchers on them and they were perfect. I have done that with almost all of my Sstep shoes. The bottom of the shoe is covered in a rubber that give you great stability. You'll feel very confident walking in them and your shoes will be noticed by everyone.

These shoes are just adorable - even in the size 11s that I wear! I rec'd compliments from everyone, every time that I wear them, whether w/ pants or a skirt. All that said, the 2 1/2" heel means I can wear them most of the day (errands, office), but wouldn't choose them for touring or long-distance walks. The toe box is roomy and the lacing helps hold my foot very firmly.

I have short, wide feet and thin ankles. Like a duck. I have trouble finding comfy cute shoes. These are almost--almost!--perfect. I wish they had a different heel...! I think the heel looks dated, IMO.

This is my third pair of this brand of shoe. I love it. I get compliments all day long, they make any out fit pop, and can be worn with dresses, skirts, and pants. They get noticed no matter what. I can wear them all day and my feet never ache. I don't know exactly what makes them so comfortable but seriously they are!

Have had these L'Artiste by Spring Step Bardot for over a year and I highly recommend them! Good solid walking shoe.

I am a size 8. I had tried the size 39 which was a perfect fit! Unfortunately, the foot bed under the ball of the foot is quite hard and my feet will start to hurt without padding. I tried this size 40 and was able to put some padding under the ball of the foot and it fit just great. Too big without the padding though. I know the leather will soften and mold to my foot so I am sure this will be a great solution. Returning only because the color will not work for me. I will get the Navy instead.

The size: I wear 7.5 and choose 8, which was perfect. I could not leave them because my right foot is not standard and could not fit into this gorgeous shoe. Highly recommend.

Super cute vintage looking oxfords. Very comfortable. I am looking forward to making lots of different outfits with these shoes this fall. (Another reviewer found the quality lacking, but the pair I received is very well made.)

Love the look of these shoes! Gorgeous colors and textures, and well crafted. I'm usually a size 9, (40?). I ordered a larger size (41) because of other reviews, and to leave room for socks and padding, if needed. But they were almost a full size too big. 41 felt like a size ~9.75 (if there was such a thing). Even with thick socks, and tying the laces tightly - my feet kept sliding down and leaving a ~ .75" gap behind my heels. On the plus side the toe box felt roomy enough. Returning. I hope the 40 will fit.

So wish this shoe came in a wide. Beautiful and well constructed, but for my wide foot, a no go. Alas...

This is a very comfortable heel. One of those heels that you don't really even notice you are not in flats. I can wear them all day with no issues. The shoe is also really pretty in person. I would say a little less dressy but very pretty.

This is one sassy shoe! It reminds me of the wingtips my dad used to wear. 1920's styling in a 21st Century shoe. Moderate heel height. Stylishand extremely cofortable.

Everything about this shoe is PERFECT! Looks great just like the picture (brown) and feels great runs true to size for me. I wear a 9 in shoes and order the 40 I put a cushion insole in ( I do that with most of my shoes and boots) and it fits great! I feel like I received 4 in 1 shoe because I can bring out the different colors with accessories like belts and purses! Great buy!

I get stopped every time I wear these - they're super stylish and obviously eye-catching! I tell everyone how comfortable they are, which is an uncommon quality in such a great-looking shoe. I walk almost all day at work and these shoes go the distance with no rubbing and no pinching. L'Artiste is my new favourite label for style and comfort!!!

These shoes have a cool vintage style, comfortable on inside shoe, unique, I wear 8.5 typically and got a 9. It fits great!

Let me start by saying that I usually wear a 7.5 M in most brands. I have found with L'Artiste shoes that 39 are often too big and 38 is too small. That said, I decided to order these shoes in both 38 and 37 because that was what was available and I REALLY wanted these shoes. The 38 won for the best fit But honestly I could fit into the 37 also if I wasn't going to walk far. The heel is a tad higher than I wanted but I really loved there unusual design and wonderful colors. I do sound like a pony when I walk on a hard wood floor but that doesn't bother me at all. These look best with boot cut pants and jeans.
