I want to start out by saying how awesome this shoe is. I work at a popular fast food restaurant and I needed a shoe that would last me for a few years. I started out with a pair of cheaper shoes from Payless and they were great for about nine months, but I wanted to get something more substantial--something with better arch and overall foot support. These shoes are a bit pricey, but they are 100% worth it. I have had mine for about three months now and I have worked 13 hour shifts with them! They are great! I also like that they are slip-on for easy use.

I have been buying Merrell shoes for the last five years. These are the very first ones to disappoint me! The back is higher and it bothers me to walk because of where they stop. They also rub against my ankles. I do not like these shoes!

I really enjoy this shoe. I work in an emergency department and I look for a slip on (don't want to have to grab potentially nasty laces) which is water (or blood) resistant/proof. This shoe does a great job. The sole is also very stable with no slipping. I've tried other slip-ons, but the higher back on this shoe makes it feel more secure. It's still easy to slip on and off. The shoes come with some rubber lifts under the insole which were uncomfortable for me, but after removing those I have no complaints.

I'm a big guy: 6'3", 225 with flat feet and a roaring case of plantar fasciitis. These are far and away the most comfortable shoes I own. Doesn't squeak like the other leather ones they sell. I plan on wearing this with a suit and tie; it looks that good.

I really liked the fit before I tried walking in it. It has a slippery insole and my foot slid forward with each step. It did not feel too big but I did think that if it were a tie shoe, I would have liked the ability to snug this up. The left shoe felt a little smaller than the right.

We buy a lot of Merrell's and for some reason even though my boyfriend is a 10.5 in them, we had to send this back and get a 10. He is on his feet all day which leads huge back and leg problems. He says this shoe has taken care of a lot of issues. And it's not godawful ugly like many out there so that's nice too.

I got these to cover a variety of travel and leisure purposes: 1. Airport Shoes - any frequent traveler will understand. 2. Substitute day-to-day shoes that aren't athletic shoes or running shoes. These pass muster for most places. 3. I originally searched for waterproof shoes, which I don't think these are, but being smooth leather and not suede makes me think these will survive a rain shower with little trouble.

While the shoe was basically comfortable, it was not sized the same as other Merrell's that I have purchased in the past. Also, the shoe looks slightly different and more stodgy looking than the picture shown on the website!

Really comfortable to wear and want a backup pair

This is a very comfortable simple and plain smooth black leather shoe that can easily be worn with a dark suit in inclement weather or when walking all day.

I bought these for my son in a 10.5 and we returned them for a 10. These seem a little wider than a typical Medium and, since they are slip on and not a tie up style that can be tightened, the half size smaller was a much better fit for him (no slipping on and off when he walks). He works long hours on his feet in a restaurant, and says that the arch support, cushioning and grip make all that standing and walking much easier than with any other shoes he has. I recommend Merrell shoes to anyone who is looking for all day comfort regardless of your level of activity. These are definitely worth the price; very well made and very comfortable.

Ordered these for my husband who is a big fan of Merrell clogs. He's a teacher and on his feet all day, and said he loves these shoes because they are so comfortable and give him support.

Bought these for work in busy Emergency Department. Fit very consistent with Merrells so easy to buy online. Easy slip on make for convenience and non-slip is great when floors are wet (frequent mopping). Exterior surface smooth and clean easily. Recommend highly.

My husband injured his achilles tendon and has had a difficult time finding a shoe that is comfortable to wear all day long at work, it look nice enough to be a "business casual" shoe, and it provides the support he needs for his foot issues. This shoe provides him the best of all options. He has a brown pair, and black pair in leather and the grey and also the black in the other options. Great shoe!

My second pair of these. First pair is a year old & still wearable. I wear them exclusively for work as a server in a very busy restaurant. They are very comfortable with great support & non slip as advertised. The best part is that they are comfortable right out of the box -- no need to break in.

Size is 1/2 larger. Good thing since feet swell during long hours in kitchen. Completely non-slip. Very good arch and heel support. Highly recommend this shoe for anyone back or front of house. Most comfortable in 20 years.

I love these shoes! So comfortable and perfect for the office - where I can slip on and off. The moc style is also great for plan travel. I expect many years of good use from them. Merrell does not disappoint.

I am a restaurant manager in a place that has two floors. I have worn every major brand of shoes in my career. These Merrells may be the best shoes yet. Mine feel a little larger than marked, but I use Ecco socks that make them snug and very comfortable. I hope that the Merrells can take a beating because they are going to get one!

These are awesome shoes, for men, who are usually limited to black or brown shoes, unless they are into jogging. I thought that a white shoe would be very stylish, but the judge said it looked like a hospital worker's shoe, which i guess it is. Too bad black and brown are the only options for men!

Been wearing Merrell for years and their products keep me coming back! No surprises with this purchase, feet are happy! Zappos - "easy breezy" way to buy quality on line!

My favorite winter shoe - slip on and go! My orthotics fit well too. I almost hate to even suggest this for fear of them becoming just another cheap shoe, but could you style them up just a bit - or, even better, add another dressier style that works for winter. Do not downgrade the durability and comfort whatever you do, Please. I have several of these and the black suede takes me to some dressier venues during snowstorms and sub-zero temps in fair style - us northerners understand the need to stay warm, dry and stay upright - sometimes with help of YAK-TRAKS - during icy situations too.
