Haven't taken it in the mountain yet, but it's so cozy, warm and breathable. Great quality, would recommend.

I really like the material on this neck gaiter. It stays in place. It is tight enough on the neck so that it doesn't move too much when you are doing activities. I was hesitating between other good merino wool brands and this one is worth the price. I also have a slimmer but not made with wool neck gaiter from Arc'teryx but i use this one for cold days on the slopes! This is a good buy!

It's remarkable what a difference such a small piece of fabric makes. Cuts the wind and cold better than a bulky scarf. Looks great with the Patera coat too.

Very versatile. Stretchy, can cover neck, ears face etc or any combination there of. Surprisingly warm for how light weight it is. Works awesome with a the arcteryx wool rho beanie. Throw a helmet on over top very warm!

I ordered it, love it, I have been using it during this cold winter weather here in Chicago, sometimes get windy, I used it, keeps my face and neck warm. Not to bulky, I ordered a grey color (gunmetal).love Arcteryx.

Upon first use the material is irritating with my breathing, after that it is much better. As for the size, it is quite small don't recommend for people for large neck. It can constricts against your neck making it difficult for breathing. For reference my neck circumference is 12.5" inches with little room to spare. Anyone with 15" or larger neck probably not ideal. As for comfort it is very comfortable and warm enough for single digit temperature, but it will build up moisture when you breathe. Need to wash often.

This is a great piece of gear, but what do expect from the Ferrari of outdoor brands. It has been freezing this winter in NY but I wear this with my Pea Coat and I feel toasty. The only thing that takes getting used to is when over your face it will get wet from your breath, but it's wool so it stays warm anyway.

I bought this neck gaiter in black last year in a store and wore it all winter while ice climbing and hiking/scrambling. Then I lost it. I couldn't live without it, so I ordered two more as soon as that happened, including a pink one to match my pink down and another black one to replace the lovely lost one. I prefer this neck gaiter over my others (Buffs etc.) as it is warmer by far and still stretchy. It's a little harder to breathe through than thinner fabrics, but it doesn't harden up on super cold days the same way from frozen breath, keeping its stretch. I swear by this product and would buy more in other colours if it matched my gear.

Der Arc'teryx Rho LTW Halswrmer ist wie fr mich gemacht. Er trgt nicht so dick auf wie z.B. Schal oder Fleece-Halswrmer, und lsst sich einfach in die Jackentasche stecken. Im Prinzip trage ich den Halswrmer als verlngerten Rollkragen, gerade in Kombination mit Arc'teryx Jacken, die ja bekanntermaen einen relativ weiten Kragen haben. Bei 186cm sitzt er mir perfekt ! Nun schon in der zweiten Saison ohne "Peeling" oder "Elasthanfden". Allerdings wird bei mir die Merinowolle nur mit der Hand in lauwarmen Wasser gewaschen ! Fazit: Lieblingsteil 5 Sterne

I do a lot of hiking in freezing and below freezing conditions. This is a great neck gaiter to help shed off the cold winter winds or more favorable weather. I can still breathe through it which is very nice. This is a very sentimental piece of clothing for me as I have worn a similar neck gaiter in the military when the clothing was one of my few possessions. For years I looked for a similar neck gaiter and I've finally found it! This neck gaiter is very comfortable and warm. It is because of excellent clothing like this neck gaiter from Arc'teryx that I don't dread the winter but look forward to it because I can enjoy the outdoors with the great quality products that are heavily tested by those who depend most on their clothing doing its job.

I hate scarves but needed something to keep my neck warm when walking my dogs in winter. A friend pointed this neck gaiter out in an outdoor store. He was a fan of the label and the quality but had reservations because it was wool. I bought it and love it. It is easy to put on and very comfortable, warm and no scratchiness. An excellent purchase and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

One of my favorite gaiters I've ever owned. Only thing I don't like is you can feel the logo alittle to much and depending where you were it is alittle uncomfortable. Other then that awsome gaiter!

This neck gaiter makes a big difference on a windy day. However, the material is quite flimsy. Therefore, it doesn't stand up well and cover the whole neck. Has a tendency to crumple and only cover the bottom of your neck. Super light and easy to pack though

Aprs un mois d'utilisation intensive du cache-cou en base mrinos sur une utilisation quotidienne en vlo par temps froid et trs froid humide (-5C ressenti + prcipitations) le cache-cou permet de rester au chaud mme par condition humide. Un must-have pour tout bon bikepacker qui se respecte! Je recommande!

This product is quite good, it'll keep the wind out of your face and will keep you warm 'till about 0 degrees Celsius. Make sure it's not raining or snowing because this isn't the piece of gear you want then as it'll get moist for sure. As long as you're breathing calmly, it'll do the job. For casual biking or on a moped/scooter it's pretty awesome. if you do any moderate activity, you're breathing will turn this thing all moist. It wouldn't hurt to have maybe a little bit of fabric more (3 cm more) but overall it's fine. Great as a neck warmer too and combines great with any hoody.

Lightweight and protective without overheating. Easy to put on and remove. Ideal for pedestrian walking when cold winter winds can whip your face and neck

Very breathable and adorable. I wash it was little "taller" but it is fantastic. The material is amazing.

Another great product. It's light and moisture wicking. Super warm tnx to merino wool. I'd wish for it to be a bit longer when I pull it over my nose but the best thing about it is that it fist so snug around my neck. No other neck gaither I had fitted like that. It's great!

I generally use this when wearing my Field Jacket or any Arc jacket with a drop hood. The gaiter does a good job trapping warmth. The wool used -though merino- is somewhat coarse, especially for the price you pay. I do have sensitive skin but readers may have better experience with Icebreaker. With extended use, the gaiter does trap moisture and can become irritating. Really no fix unless you switch to a synthetic like the Phase

It's taken over scarf duties, but on very windy days I wished it was long enough to pull over my face without exposing the base of the neck to drafts. Still do not regret purchase, it's warm and soft.
