I found this to be an awesome utility style coat. It’s a nice alternative to avoid a down feather coat. It is on the heavier side as stated on the companies website. I love the adjustability on the hood. It creates a perfect comfortable fit. The faux fur trim has a nice look to it and is securely attached. I ordered a medium and according to the size chart I am between a medium large depending on the room that I’m looking for. I am 5’6” 155 lbs, I typically wear a size 8 sometimes a 10 for comfort. I feel the medium is a perfect fit even with a bulky sweat shirt underneath. I did decide to order a large to compare(so we will see if I update this on sizing).There are pull cords in side the coat for tightening the waist line. Lots of pockets! I feel the space in the pockets can be lost with layering the coat while it being a perfect fit. I’m concerned the sleeves may shorten too much for me with movement. It has a stretch to the fabric that I really love about it. I am not extremely out door active but get cold easily so things like walking the dogs, tending to my chicken flock , waiting at the kids bus stop in the frigid mornings. I am excited to try this coat out for a winter quad ride! This jacket will be perfect for all that plus more along with its quality I can see me having this for years. I highly suggest this coat or brand to anyone looking to appreciate the outdoors during colder seasons.

This is a top quality, good-looking coat and I am sure it would keep anybody warm during cold winters, but it is bulky and heavy. Warmth is the main thing I am looking for in a coat and then usage for everyday. It is definitely warm (maybe too warm when going in and out of stores), but it feels so bulky that I feel I cannot wear a purse or backpack comfortably with it! I need to be able to wear a coat around campus and also out on errands and visits. It does have a ton of pockets but I don't really need that many and prefer to wear a purse or back pack. I returned it. For reference, I normally wear a medium in clothes and coats and ordered a medium in this. Maybe a small would've fit me better, but I am not sure. You may want to order your normal size and a size down. Also, the length is perfect...long enough to cover my backside and some of my upper thighs, but not so long that it is uncomfortable sitting down or getting into the car.

I did a bunch of research before spending the money on this coat. Although many of the reviews state that the coat runs REALLY big, I have to disagree. I am 5'5" and weigh 120 lbs, but am pear shaped. Usually I'm an XS on top and a small/medium on the bottom. So- I ordered an XXS. This size was really hard to get the zipper over my hips, and would be too small to wear a bulky sweater underneath. I exchanged it for an XS. I have to say that I am so pleased. The red color is cherry and vibrant. The coat is beautiful and warm. Heading to Iceland in few months but I think I'm ready now (and for cold Pittsburgh winters in the future). Strongly recommend this coat!

This coat is so warm! Temperatures in Wyoming just hit -27 giving me an opportunity to put this coat to the test. So nice to shovel snow without freezing! The zipper was a little cumbersome initially but coat zips nicely now that I've got the hang of it.

Gorgeous, super warm coat. The quality is excellent with the exception of the zipper: it requires quite a bit of fiddling to get the body correctly latched over the bottom stop. Had I noticed this before taking off the tags I'd probably have returned it, instead I have to remove my gloves and get ready for a struggle every time I want to zip up the coat.

Good fit and size- not the most flattering or shapely design

Lets start with the good. The coat is well made, quality zipper and material. There are tons of pockets ... everywhere. The coat is sufficiently warm. However, for me it was too much coat! What I didn't like was that it was very heavy, bulky and stiff (that may have changed over time). It was too form fitting and not long enough. I didn't like the horizontal pockets. They had slated pockets up high but it was uncomfortable for me to keep my hands up there. I would have preferred slated pockets where the horizontal pockets were. So for those reasons this coat will be returned.

I ordered multiple jackets in an effort to find the perfect winter coat for me. Conclusion: This was not the perfect jacket. I'm not rating this jacket on warmth, since I never wore it outside. I am 5'2" and 130lbs. Usually a small or medium. I ordered the size small, and it was very roomy. The exterior material on the jacket is stiff, which will likely help keep wind from getting in. The arms were also so long that I wouldn't have even considered keeping it. If the arms were an appropriate length on me, I would've sized down to an XS to get a better fit. However, I don't think sizing down would've adjusted the arm length.

Very well-made coat, but the zipper is on the other side which makes it awkward, plus it didn't fasten correctly. I'm 5"2 and the sleeves were way too long. Definitely made for taller people.
