I collect Arc'teryx catalogues since 1998, I saw this backpack listed since 2003 or 2001. This pack is a classic from Arcteryx like the Alpha SV or Beta Ar. It is outstanding in different ways. For example, versatility, I carry my 15' laptop without problems, thousand of hiking days, trekking around the Andes and North America. This pack has survived almost everything. The science behind the quality of the fabric is just one of their good qualities. It is a bombproof. The key behind his longevity is the simplicity of his design. It is not just a "simple" pack. It is THE PACK.

This is different than my blade pack. I thought I was not going to like it. However, I love it.

This pack is perfect to hold the essentials for the day, including shoes, and a harness for the evening climb at the gym.

I thought I was going to be overpaying for the Arc'teryx branding on a backpack but I was wrong! It's a great fit you can barely tell it's on your back. It has a very slim profile and doesn't look silly if it's not filled. Much higher quality material than I was expecting as well.

Bought this a couple of months ago for general use in the city and have found it to be perfect. Great laptop sleeve and some other smaller sleeves and pockets make it really easy to pack stuff into. I like the front compartment for stuffing things into, fits a jacket just right.

I absolutely love this pack! I've had mine for years now, and like a fine wine, it only gets better with age. It's incredibly durable, and sticks to my back like a suction cup when weaving through urban environments.

I've had this for about a month and love it! Great bag with lots of easily accessed storage. Exterior is tough and durable, and cleans up easily. My only improvement would be more specific storage/organization for pens and other small items.

This is a great pack for anyone who values quality materials and simple organization. At 22 liters, this pack is just big enough for me to carry my laptop (in the laptop sleeve), a few documents (in the document sleave), my chords (in the mesh zippered pocket located in the main compartment, something to eat (in the main compartment), and an extra layer (in the front zipper. The side mesh pockets do a good job of holding my tumbler on the open side, and my keys on the side that has a velcro closure. The shoulder straps have a ton of padding and the back panel does a good job of conforming to the shape of my body. My only complaint about this bag is that the side water bottle pockets are not very deep and therefore will not hold a tall bottle very well. Otherwise, I love everything else about the pack.

I bought this pack in Exosphere last month, and I have been using Arro22 for some years. (My old one is the one in light green zipper). - More inner side pocket is a plus by comparing to the old version. Very convenient though. - 22L capacity is just perfect for normal uses. I can put my exercise equipment (ie tee, shorts, a pair of shoes with a shoe bag and some gym equipment.) - Sometimes I put my notebook in, where it suits fine. - Back support is fine. - One thing to remind when uses: front pocket water repellent is great, but the water will slip to the bottom of the pack where the nylon there will get wet. Means the bottom things inside the pack will get wet too.

I mainly use it as an everyday bag and for this it's perfect, holds my 13 inch notebook some food and extra clothing with plenty more space left. Used it for a 2 day hike also, this pushed the limit of the pack. It was packed with a hammock, mat, sleeping bag, some food and extra clothes. It was very comfy for that and didn't bother me at all. Overall a very nice bag with a special design. Regarding the design, since it's asymetric it was very hard to stuff it for the hike.

This is my go-to backpack. EDC, work, school. Whatever I need. Really durable and well thought out. Fits several folders, a shell, gloves, a hat, my Chromebook, charger, extra jacket, and lunch well without being overstuffed. My only minor complaint is that the water bottle holder is a bit small and won't fit a wide-mouth bottle well (i.e. Hydroflask or Nalgene). I have the older version though so maybe they fixed that. When overstuffed and used for long walking commutes, weirdly the imprinted bird logo on the back panel can be abrasive on your spine but it's nothing huge. Still a five-star pack.

I currently have two Arro 22 backpacks -- the 'old' version and the new revised version. I've used the Arro 22 most days since around 2003 for going to work and hiking. I've recently 'upgraded' to the revised Arro 22 and it's still the same great backpack. Adjusting the backpack while hiking is easy, and the solid straight back (of the backpack) feels great against my back when carrying heavier loads. I can easily access my water bottles and stuff I store in the side compartments. In short, I highly recommend this backpack for everyday use.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to get this bag. I've wanted this since 2017 when I first started looking for a travel/hiking backpack. The fit is my favorite aspect of this pack. The rear panel contours to my back perfectly therefore making it very comfortable to wear. I'm actually unsure if it's the cushioning or the shape of the straps that adds to the overall comfort (could be both) but holy cow it feels extremely well balanced even when I was carrying all of my camera gear. The design of the straps is so simple yet complex, I'm not really sure what to think but I do know it is executed very well. I have yet to do any extraneous hikes but if my daily commute to work is any indication of how well this pack performs, say goodbye to shoulder fatigue and hello happy camper. BTW, I am only 5'8" of medium build, the 22L is not too big. it's actually bordering small. However, for the packing that I do it works just fine.

I use my Arro22 backpack on a daily basis to commute to school. In it I keep a tablet and some snacks to make it throughout the day. Small items like a pencil case I keep in the small pouch on the back and I can reach for these items with ease.

17 years ago, my girlfriend dragged me out to a luggage store to buy a bag to carry our soon to be born daughter's baby stuff. Basically, a diaper bag... After checking out several blue or pink padded handle bag options, I suggested that we cross the street to a local mountain gear shop where I spotted the Arro 22. That's the kind of dad I wanted to be. Since then, I've traveled the world with it, changing diapers in remote locations, standing up while holding our baby daughter with one hand and pulling a diaper from my backpack with the other. Today I no longer carry diapers, but wherever life drags me, it's always with an Arrow 22 on my back.
