Overall they seem to be very wide, which is okay for my feet, but unfortunately I can not tighten enough the t-strap for a snug fit. My heels are slipping around a lot. Good quality and look and feel nice, but I need a tighter fit. Would not recommend these to anyone with average/ small ankles and heels.

You suggest going down 1/2 size. Being that I wear a 6 and that is the smallest you carry, I am very disappointed! In the past I bought a pair of Jambu in a 6 that carried me through Italy and the Uk in comfort! Mfg's. need to standardize sizes!

Bought these shoes and love them! I typically wear a size 8.5-9M sneaker and a 7.5-8M flats. After reading the reviews that they ran large, I decided on the 7.5M. They fit perfectly in the toes and I would say that my foot is average. There is a slight (and I mean slight) rub on the left shoe where my toe meets the foot (the knuckle) but nothing that wearing them around the house with socks for a day or two won't take care of. My arches are narrow but with a medium curve and that is not a big problem when standing in these shoes (I do not think these shoes would be good for high arches). I would not recommend these for wide feet or fat toes. My neighbor actually ordered a pair after she saw mine. These will definitely be my "summer shoes."

From the moment I saw these in an ad in Travel + Leisure magazine I wanted them for my upcoming trip and for tripping around home this summer. Locating them was a bit of a challenge, until my sister said Zappos had a pair. Just one. Not my usual size. I decided to take a risk and order them. (Of course, the more elusive they were, the more I was determined to have them.) I was delighted when they arrived and were a perfect fit. The only thing not perfect is that they appeared more red in the photographs and in real life are more rust. I'm keeping them anyway and will be flaunting them in France in a few weeks.

These shoes are very comfortable. If you have thin ankles, beware the strap will be loose. Would be great if the strap would fit a little tighter.

Love these shoes. I'm a size 8 in regular shoes, so I ordered both an 8 and 8.5 to be sure one would fit. Unfortunately they did not. The 8.5 was way too big, and I could not get the strap on the 8 tight enough for my foot. I am so disappointed!

I love these shoes! They run a bit small, so I exchanged them for a half size bigger. Now they are perfect and I love them. They got even more comfy after a couple days of wearing them. Very high quality, perfect for lots of walking on any type of ground. Cool enough for the summer.

A very cute shoe! I was hoping to keep it, however, the arch support is not suited to my feet. So I will return it.

I've been looking for a shoe like this for a very long time. It's comfy for walking, yet doesn't look like a sneaker. I can wear it for traveling or for the weekend...with shorts, pants or skirts. I had to bump up to an 8 in this shoe, though. I'm usually a 7.5 in Jambu (8 in many other brands), but had to send those back for the slightly larger size.

I really like these shoes. They rubbed my heels a bit at first, but once they were broken in they have been really comfortable. And cute!

I think these shoes are just so cute! The pair I ordered are a bit big for my feet, but with my orthotics inserted, the shoes end up fitting about right. They are pretty comfortable, too. I mean, I wouldn't wear them for a lot of walking, but for social occasions they are great.

I got these because they run about a half is larger which is perfect for my size 11.5 feet. Very comfortable and lots of air circulating around means they'll most likely work well in the warmer months. Very cute and easy to wear all day.

Have these in red, love them. They will be put to serious use during my upcoming trip to Japan. Jambu is my favorite brand of shoes (I have so many pairs it's a little embarrassing). They combine the difficult combination of style & comfort so well, my collection will no doubt continue to grow.

These are really cute shoes ! I ordered the color red, and it is actually a more neutral color than one would think. Very comfortable at first. Although it says Jambu recommends ordering a smaller size, I ordered my usual six, and the fit was perfect. Now the bad news. I love these shoes, but, sad to say, they are not going to work for my feet. After wearing them in the house for several days, I knew the t-strap and ankle strap would give me problems if my feet and/or ankles swelled. Unfortunately, my feet have a tendency to do just that under certain conditions. If swelling is not a problem for you, please do give these shoes a try. They are very good looking, and would be very comfortable for the right feet. I so wish I could have kept them. Thank you, Zappos, for the always wonderful service.

In the shoe description, it says to order 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear. I bought my mom her normal shoe size & they fit well. She loves them. I bought a pair too in 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear but I had to order my regular size for sandals. Don't size down.

Huge blisters! My poor feet. Yikes...wore them around the house for a couple of hours, and they felt like a dream - walking on air. Wore them to work one day and by 8 am I was begging to take them off. I was a trooper and toughed it out until 6 despite several bandaids falling off. Multiple areas with blisters but none as bad as my heel on the right foot. Scabbed over took over a week to heal. Haven't worn the shoes again. I am so sad. The center strap also was twisting and not laying flat which bothered me.

My normal shoe brand is Dansko, so I cannot really relate to any other shoe. I bought this shoe because I like the look, I'm not so in love with it as far as comfort is concerned. It does not have the arch support I am used to but it is comfortable and very flexible. I would recommend it to someone who wears flats and likes the feel of a flat shoe. I would not buy it again, but I do not really have anything bad to say about it except that it is not my preference.

Ordered my usual size 10, (Dansko size 41/El Naturalista size 42), and it was perfect fit for me; however, typically Jambu size 10 s make me want to order a 10.5, so that s why I took the risk to not order a half size down as recommended. These Xterra s are a little new shoe snug across the top of my foot, but I m sure that will loosen upon wear. Cute strappy style, very comfortable for a walking tour of Europe ballet flat, and the tread has great grip for such a light shoe. Glad to find the Oatmeal color; seems like this summer s new neutral is a light dove gray , which I think looks weird with a tan. If you can find your size, these are worth a try.

The color and style were exactly as I visualized but upon trying them on, the toe area did not have enough give for my bunions and they were not comfortable at all. Sorry.

These shoes just arrived today and I slipped them on and they fit perfectly! Thank you for the tip about ordering 1/2 size smaller. They look great and will be perfect for wearing every day and walking in. I am glad that they have the velcro strip to tighten them down but they are so comfy. Not really RED but a rust color but they are just great! I am very happy with them and your always great Customer Service!

Cool comfort with a great fit. I found them to be true to size, different from other reviews I had read. Had to return the smaller size and get my normal size! I love them, they are stylish and comfy, my favorite combination.

These are the cutest shoes ever. I am so disappointed that I have to return them. They rubbed on both sides at the ball of my foot. I don't have wide feet, and other reviews said they ran wide, so I was surprised.

Cute, comfortable straight out of the box. A great walk-around summer shoe to wear with skirts/skorts/sundresses. A nice alternative to Keen's, similar fit as Keen's (I have a wide ball, narrow heel)!

So far these shoes are incredibly comfortable and easy to wear! I filed down the material on the inside of the right heel as it was causing blisters. After that minor surgery, they now provide great support and I can wear them all day without being aware of them - or my feet - which is wonderful!

I was looking for shoes that I could wear on my vacation to Italy this summer. I also am a teacher so I'm always looking for comfy, yet stylish shoes. In addition, I am recovering from Achilles tendinitis. And need a shoe with a bit of a heel. It is difficult to combine a walking shoe with a heel. Theses shoes are very comfortable. I've worn them several times already all day at school. I've got a wider foot, although my heel is narrow. Lots of room in the toes! After reading others reviews I ordered a 8 1/2 instead of my usual 9. It fits perfect. My heel is very roomy, by the buckle holds my foot in nicely. I do put a heel cushion in to get a bit more height. No tendon pain. I have experienced an irritation on my right foot near my big toe - sort of where there's a bony bump. It's only happened twice and I put a small bandaid there and had no further irritation. I have never had this problem before. The shoe is not tight - I think it's my weird feet. But...I'm not going to take these shoes to Italy.
