I am absolutely obsessed with my Copilot. I am a flight attendant so I spend half of my life on an airplane and navigating airports. I have had my Copilot for almost 3 years now and I cannot recommend it enough. She has passed the test of thousands of hours of travel, and honestly still looks fantastic. I have had to replace the wheels a couple times now, understandably, but with Timbuk2's lifetime warranty, it was such a breeze. Anytime someone asks me for a luggage recommendation, I always send them to Timbuk2. My boyfriend is a new airline pilot and after seeing my bag, he swapped his bag from a well known brand designed by flight crew to a Timbuk2 Copilot! We both absolutely love them! I have the small size and it fits on every airplane that allows carryon suitcases with no issues at all! The amount of stuff I am able to fit in it is unreal, and I love that the handle is external, so it protects the woven back from being slid across the bins or the floor. The smooth front is easy to clean if it gets dirty, which is a huge plus! I absolutely love that you can access the front of the bag through the front zipper flap. It makes grabbing things like a jacket such a breeze! Also, I am 5'9 (5'10 with shoes) and I never have any issues with the handle being too short or my feet hitting the bag as I walk. My boyfriend is 6'0 (6'1 with shoes) and he doesn't either, so it's taller people friendly!

We have 2 of these medium Copilot bags (one being this design and the other being the previous design circa 2013) and they're amazing! They've been on so many trips, including international ones, and still look great! The clamshell design with the separate sides makes it so easy to organize and actually pack more than other bags. Plus the skateboard wheels are amazing and roll smoothly, even when you're running through CDG trying to catch your flight on the other side of the airport or rolling over the cobblestones of Venice! The only thing I can suggest, is please bring back more colors! So many bags on the luggage carousel are black, and the fact that our 2 Copilot bags are not black makes it so much easier to spot them in the sea of black luggage!

Smooth rolling and ample storage. Perfect for short trips and I was able to use as a carry on.

We love the great design of the product. Internal space is large and ease of use with the great set of caster on it. It's also very sturdy to say the least

I have so many bags from this company, I've lost count. Needless to say, I'm a happy customer. In 2017, I bought the medium Copilot Luggage Roller, and after several trips around the globe, the handle recently broke. Instead of being sad, I asked Timbuk2 about buying a replacement piece. They were super friendly and told me the item was covered by the warranty! Right away, the nice person sent a tracking number, the new part arrived soon thereafter. Using only an Allen wrench and a Philip's head screwdriver, I easily swapped the new telescoping handle, and now I have a fully-functioning suitcase once again. Thanks Timbuk2~ !!

This is great, big enough for my things and my husband's thing. We just need to check one bag and it keeps traveling easy.

1st trip using our new luggage went very well. The xl luggage seems to have handles everywhere making it easy to put in and take from the car. Plenty of room even though it weighed in at 47lbs on the airline scale. I thought the shoe pocket was excellent. Easily held my size 12's and slippers as well.

I bought my first Copilot bag 10 years ago when I was a student and reluctantly gave it to my sister when I was gifted a designer luggage set but I've found my way back to Timbuk2. Nothing can beat the practicality and durability. I love its easily identifiable look, the pockets and the clamshell design. This bag has gone to 16 countries with me and is still the bag I reach for most when I'm going on a trip.

Got this bag for my parents to replace a suitcase they've been using for the past 20 years and so far, they love it. Their work takes them to all corners of the world and they needed a bag that could survive different road types without fear of breaking a wheel or a stuck handle and a lifetime warranty gives them some peace of mind. I'm hoping they use this one for another 20.

My second luggage roller and I love it, my first lasted about 7 years of check in abuse (impressive for this type of roller), not really a minus a star, but not sure why it's not available in other colors

Great carry on size, it's nice and compact. It only has two wheels though and can only go in one direction. But otherwise it fits all of my needs for a small suitcase!

I now have 4 of this model bag. The other three have seen tens of thousands of miles of travel domestically and abroad through Europe and Asia. They have endured rough handling not only in cargo holds of planes, but buses, trucks, and cabs. Needless to say, I love the design and durability. I've never had an issue with any of them. I love the smooth, quiet rolling wheels, the zippered halves with storage pockets, and the isolated shoe compartment for when I've had to transport my still wet shoes or boots to the airport for a flight in a hurry. For a soft-sided suitcase, these have worked best for me...and I previously tried many that never lasted. My only suggestion is to add replacable outer plastic plates to the upper and lower corners for a bit more abrasion protection. There is some under the cordura, and the corners have not worn through, but are soiled and abraded. Other than that really minor suggestion for a bit more resistance, a 5 star rating- which is rare on any product for me.

I had been eyeing this for a while and picked one up during the Black Friday sale. Definitely lives up to my high expectations of quality and workmanship. Good features, smooth wheels. Everything feels sturdy and immaculate. Looking forward to using it as my carryon for years to come.

I bought the carry on version of this and loved it so much that I ended up buying the check-in large version. I love this brand. High quality and durable. This is the only brand I use for travel and work.

We saw this at Tumbuk2 store in San Francisco and love the wheels for European trip.

This luggage is super roomy for everything you could possibly need for the trip you go on. Really good material and quality just like all timbuk2 products. I haven't used it yet, but I will soon!

I have not used this product yet, I am waiting for everseas travel to put it to good use. By the feel and looks of the travel case, I am already in love. I have good faith that this bag will give it's value and can't wait to use it!

The product is great! I have owned a "M" sized Co-Pilot bag for many years and was always interested in getting a larger version for those longer trips. This "XL" Co-Pilot hits the mark in all ways. I love the quality of these bags!

Used once so far and looking forward to so many more trips with this suitcase. The most solid wheels I've ever had on a suitcase and appreciate the zipper organization inside the bag. Seems very well made with classy look.

As flight deck airline crew for the past 23 years I have traveled almost every week This bag is now my "go to bag" if I'm gone more than 2 days. It is the best blend of durability, features , and value.

I travel a lot. I spent years looking for a suitcase that the wheels wouldn't fall off and the retractable handle wouldn't break immediately. This is it. I have the carry on and x-large for a checked bag and it has survived 5 years now and at least 7-10 trips yearly for the checked bag and more for the carry on. It's not a spinner which is fine by me but that's its only potential flaw for someone who wants that. They both are still in amazing shape and have lots of trips left in them.

I travel all the time and this is my second of these bags. The first did 9 years and is still going but looks so battered my wife has banned it. If you need a robust cabin bag this is the very best. A handle on every side and skateboard wheels. The only bag that can survive Belgium's pavements

Love this bag! I had borrowed it twice from a friend and knew I needed one for myself. Keeps your items neatly packed and organized. Maneuvers well.
