This shoe is perfect for my very needy feet. I am thrilled! I ordered wide, to allow room for nasty bunions, and the little gaps in the design allow for even a little more ease. My hammertoes are ok, and the ankle strap assures a good fit around my skinny ankle! The closed toe hides what could scare children, and the look is summery and in style! Win, win, win!

I am short and I generally hate heels because heels are usually made for non-human feet (seriously, why is the back of ankle pointy in so many dress shoes?) and as a result, relinquished my quest to look taller to platforms (hello 90's!) but these are AMAZING. Cute and very comfy. The rubber grips on the bottom of the shoe serves 3 functions: It softens your step so you don't sound like Godzilla around the office, It cushions, and it has grip/traction unlike 90% of dress shoes! Waxed floors on a rainy day? No prob, I got this. In fact, the only thing these shoes can't fix is the fact that your feet are going to be freezing in the 55 degree office in July. Sorry, can't help you with that! The ball of foot is comfortable and I can spread my toes. The front of the shoe comes up over my foot with plenty of room; I don't have to worry about leather cutting into my nail bed. The leather wraps softly and comfortably around the back of my ankle with no pinching or rubbing, and the ankle strap and t-strap give a secure fit. My only teensy qualm was the holes in the ankle strap are kind of far apart so it was either a tad too loose or a smidge too snug, but I can easily poke an extra hole in or just wear it snug and let the leather stretch out a bit. For the record, I purchased 6.5(normal width). When professionally fitted at a running store, my feet measure as a 6, but one foot is slightly larger than the other and my feet swell in the heat, so I always purchase a 6.5 regardless of what they say. 6.5 is good fit in these shoes. I'd say my ankle is narrow and my toes splay a tad wide. I have normal arches that collapse and am an under-pronator with a bit of hammer-toe and a slightly wonky gait. Hope that helps!

My spine is a mess -- herniated discs, slipping vertebrae, scoliosis, you name it. So, I cannot wear uncomfortable, non-supportive shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes that are not sneakers that I have ever worn. They are cute with skirts, dresses and even pants and you can wear them all day. I may just snatch up a pair in black too.

This shoe was a huge disappointment. I like the style, fit was good, but it was lined with "man-made material" which feels like plastic, and is not comfortable at all. Why are comfort shoes especially for summer lined with cheap vinyl or whatever it is? Not good business. I am returning them and otherwise would have been a regular customer. I will not order this brand again as it is good on the outside, bad on the inside, so to speak. Not that inexpensive to have this cheap lining that really affects comfort.

These are the best dress shoes I've ever tried on! They are super comfortable and still look feminine and girlie. I can't usually tolerate any lift in the heel, but I have worn these all day with no trouble. I wish they came in fun colors, I'd buy them all! They run a tad large, I wear an 8 1/2 or 9, and the 8 1/2 fit with room to spare.

Great shoe! I took them out of the box, put them on, and kept them on for the rest of the day. The medium width worked well with my rather wide feet and I ordered my usual size. The teal color is a bit darker and more greenish than pictured but very pretty and unusual. I would love to get another pair in a light tan color but none of the offered colors look like light tan, one is too brown and the other too greyish. But I would highly recommend these for fit, comfort and style and will start looking for other styles in this brand.

I normally wear a 9M and following the advice of others, I ordered an 8-1/2M. They fit perfectly. They have nice arch support and padding but, after wearing them all day, I noticed the right shoe rubs on my pinkie toe making it sore, hence only 4 stars on comfort. I did not get a blister though! I love everything else about them, especially how professional they look. I also ordered a pair of Cobb Hill Hollywood Pleat and found that I prefer them for comfort but I prefer these on days that I have not painted my toes. LOL. It is very hard for me to find shoes that make my back and left knee happy (having had surgeries on both) and these along with the Hollywood Pleat make both very happy. Another plus for me is that my feet swell in the afternoon and these accommodate the swelling without being able to tell they are swollen! I hope my review will help others. :)

I already reviewed this shoe in the blue-multi. I then ordered the shoes in "navy". I thought the color in the photo for the blue-multi was off. Well the color of the navy shoe in Zappos photo is much more off. The shoes are a dusty dark blue that is somewhere between blue-green and indigo. Nothing like the bright blue in the photo. I'm keeping them because I can still use the color, but I'm disappointed that they aren't the blue in the photo. Since several reviews say the photo is incorrect, why hasn't Zappos changed the photo? The shoes are very comfortable right out of the box.

I love these shoes. I've been on a mad search for years to find a pair of comfortable shoes that I can wear at work and still feel feminine in. My knees can't handle pumps anymore. I have bunions and on top of that have extremely wide feet. For years I've been wearing shoes 1.5 sizes bigger just to get the width of the shoe to fit (and then can't keep them on my feet because their too long!). THESE SHOES THOUGH. Wow! Very comfortable. The arch support is nice. The shoes feel flexible and have nice padding. The only criticism I have of the shoe build is the stitching on the pad that falls right beneath the start of my toes rubs my feet. Its a minor irritation and probably wouldn't be as noticeable if I wore hose. In the attached photo I tried to point to the spot. I highly recommend these shoes and I will be buying a pair in another color.

I am hard to fit, with a wide foot. These are very comfortable right out of the box. However the "blue multi" is very much a blue-green or teal. They are very pretty but I would not call these blue. In the Zappos photo they look blue-grey. The photo is very inaccurate.

I love these shoes, partly because I can get the Wide width. I do have wide feet, so I usually vary between 10 and 11, but 10W is my jam. Plus these look great, feel amazing instantly - like you are walking on a stylish cloud.

Haven't worn extensively yet but the initial impression is wow. I have arthritic feet/toes and no forefoot pad left on one foot so finding cute shoes that I can tolerate wearing is challenging. I love the look and feel, I'm usually a 9 but the 8.5 feel good. Pic is with socks on and strap partially open.

I bought these shoes in teal first and liked them so much that I ordered another pair in black. They are very comfortable and the inside of the shoe is really nicely cushioned. Of note: 1)The teal is really a green, rather than a blue. 2)The black shoe has black stitching, not white. I personally prefer the black stitching anyways. 3) I tried a 7W and a 7R. The wide shoe not only gets wider, but also gets longer in the back (which makes no sense to me).

I have a narrow foot and find it extremely hard to find shoes! Much less shoes with style! I needed a shoe that would allow me to walk a lot on in my work, but still have some style with slacks and skirts. It fits, although I still have to use an insert to fill the shoe up a little. However, they are a true narrow, and very comfortable. I bought this in neutral and in black.

Cobb Hill is one of my favorite brands, so I had fairly high expectations for this new shoe. I got my usual size in the teal and the moment they went on my feet I knew I had another Cobb Hill winner. I wore them to work today (about 6 hours total) and they were so comfortable and supportive I could have danced. (I didn't think a Dancing Librarian would have been appreciated, especially since I don't dance very well, so I refrained. But in these shoes, I Could Have Danced!) They are also very cute. And the teal is great; colorful in a sophisticated way and wearable with lots of things in my closet. I like closed-toe sandals and have a hard time finding good ones. So glad I found these. I'll probably come back for another color (or two, if I can't stop myself.)

I have several Cobb HIll shoes in 8.5 wide.(D) These are actually closer to a C width, but they do give. Compared with the Earth shoe of the same size, it is dainty ( as far as a wide shoe goes)& well made. The Earth states it is a C wide, but it is wider, longer and more roughly stitched than the D width in Cobb. If you have a very wide foot the Earth Origins might be right for you.

I purchased these to wear to my son's wedding. Because the shoes have some metallic reflection to them, they matched my dress perfectly - having an almost "chameleon" quality. I had the shoes on from 10am - 2am and my feet never hurt (which is amazing because I have terrible feet!)While I wore them for a very dressy event, they could easily move to daytime with a sundress. I would highly recommend these shoes.

these shoes are so perfect! I have a bunion and bunionette on both feet, so my feet are pretty wide in that area. What I love about these shoes is that the sides of the shoe cradle and support the widest part of my foot....so, no falling out of the shoe. Also, the leather seems very high quality...it is sturdy, yet supple and does seem to conform to my foot. The heel heighth is perfect too....very comfortable and gives a little lift which takes the pressure off my high arches. the ankle strap makes it so i don't have to clench my foot muscles in weird ways to keep the shoe on while walking. They really are awesome! Get a pair before I buy them all!

I have very picky, arthritic feet. They hate new shoes and I have to carefully break them in - always. This pair was amazing. I put them on - ahh, comfortable. I went to dinner wearing them the first night and not a peep from my feet. No rub spots, no aching feet - yeah, at last, shoes that fit! I immediately ordered another. Highly recommended, if you have fussy feet. They are cute also.

I bought these shoes for a recent trip to Prague... I was in search of a comfortable walking shoe (the city is all cobblestone!) that was still cute and stylish. This shoe was perfect! great walking shoe with more support than a flat, but a nice stable base for a city full of cobblestone streets. I would have liked the heel a tish higher, but it was still cute with capri pants , jeans or a flowy skirt. Not quite dressy enough for a fancy dinner dress, but it checked all the boxes for a perfect travel shoe. I just bought two additional colors for "next time"!

I love the style of this shoe. It reminds me of a 1930's dance shoe. The crisscross open pattern of the top shoe is pretty common in other shoe designs. But the open pattern of the heel strap is extra special. The heel strap is more than an inch high and slightly curves to hug the heel. Very comfy. There is a bit of cushion on the insole. The shoe heel is about an inch, just high enough to give lift but not too high to knock me off balance as I walk on grass during a summer evening outdoor gathering with friends. The top shoe design was pretty tight over the mid foot, which surprised me since the rest of the shoe seemed to fit like a perfect size 8. I'll try a wide version of the shoe simply because I love this shoe design and comfort so much.

I have these in black, khaki and teal and to my surprise I get the most compliments on the teal shoes. I guess it's because the color might be a bit unusual, I live in them, extremely comfortable, don't feel as if I'm wearing heels.

Really cute and seemed like they would be comfortable, but right out of the box, they were scuffed. Whether from someone else who had bought them or not, it’s apparent they scuff really easily. Either way they are going back!

I have specific needs for shoes to fit my worn out runners feet. I find these shoes to be extremely comfortable and easy to wear all day. There are no pinch points against my baby toes and my feet don’t slide around. These offer me some style and versatility as well as comfort. Usually you don’t get that trifecta. I purchased this style in black as well after having the brown ones for a week. I also am really loving the T strap. Chic and retro. I wear these for work and they’re holding their own. I’m in compliance with office attire but my feet don’t hurt when I have to speed down the hallway for some reason or when I have to stand up endlessly.

I very much like these Cobb Hill shoes. This is my second pair and it too is very comfortable. It's a low heeled shoe that I can walk in, and walk up and down many blocks and subway stairs in NYC without any discomfort. These shoes are not the same as my original Cobb Hill shoes, but they are quite similar in style and I have already tested them enough to know that they'll work well for me.
