Beautiful shoes and great quality leather. The sandals felt a bit loose though even though I bought at my usual size. I'd recommend buying either a size down or wearing thick socks/tights with them (during the fall/winter time).

I bought these from another site, but I'm a loyal Zappos customer so I wanted to review them here. These surprised me in a good way. They almost look too clunky, but the ankle straps are slenderizing and offset the big lug sole. I wear a 7.5/8 and on the advice of other reviewers, ordered down. The UK 5 /US 7 fits perfectly. Also, I have small ankles and often ankle straps are too large for me, but these are just fine. Lots of holes for loosening or tightening. The leather is really nice, the photos look a bit shiny, but this is a smooth, flat black and it's high quality that will break in beautifully over the years. I needed a summer sandal that I could really walk in and these fit the bill nicely.

I own a few pair of dr martens so I know to size down which I did with the Geraldo sandal. They fit like a glove! I was shocked there wasn’t even a break In period. I worked a 10 hour shift on my feet with these straight out of the box- I feel so lucky! These sandals are crafted beautifully and look so cool. I work in retail and have been getting customer complements on them non stop. So far- I have only worn them with pants but I think with the right dress- I could totally pull off the look I want. I also think they’re a nice, unique sandal that will transition well into fall.

Runs a tiny bit large in the foot, but the ankle strap is VERY tight. Otherwise, feels great, looks great, very durable and high quality. 10/10 would buy again.

I love these! The fit is great right out f the box. There is minor adjustments to make with moleskin under the buckles to break them in, but I love the way they look. They are great for edgy sandals. I wore them on the hottest weekend in Los Angeles and I felt great!

I’m technically a 10.5, so always order up to an 11 because Dr. Martens doesn’t offer half-sizes, but these felt a little bigger than usual in the toe box.

Fabulous look, great quality, about a half size too big (6M/8W, I wear a regular 8) but I think the next size down would be too short. I ordered the Doc Marten insert and I think these sandals/warrior shoes will ROCK>

These shoes are SO cool, but they destroyed my feet multiple times. Blisters along the whole back of my ankle and sides of my feet just from walks around the block. I've tried to break them in for YEARS and can still only bear to wear them with socks and for short distances.

I’m a Woman’s US 8.5 in most shoes and I ordered the UK6. They fit in length just fine. Viewed sole side up they looked comically wide, real “clodhoppers” as my mom would call them, but the toe bed turns out to be surprisingly narrow. I’m flat-footed so the straps are too roomy and gape across my foot, yet the ankle strap is pretty tight and likely won’t work if you have wider ankles…odd considering this is a unisex shoe. I anticipate a hellacious break-in, made worse by how poorly constructed the inner is, feels like inflexible cheap cardboard, especially around the heels. The leather isn’t at all special and each strap was sliced so sloppily that leather bits are just dangling. Was unhappy to see some stitching already fraying too. It’s all made worse by the excessive packaging they jammed inside, akin to a ‘fast’—which was unnecessary because the boot keeps its shape—so all this overstuffing made weird crinkles and painful ridges right out of the box. I’m very disappointed in the quality as I bought my first pair of Docs, oh were they ever so comfy and divine, in 1992; twenty-eight years ago they cost the same as the Geraldo…so that should tell you something about how the company has changed. But since I cannot find another boot with this specific look, summer appropriate, I’m begrudgingly keeping them. Will buy some moleskin to see if that helps with the break in.

I love how these look, but these sandals wear you--ankle straps are noticeable all the time you have them on. It was a hard decision not to keep them, but I want everything I wear to be comfortable.

Doc Martens are a high quality shoe however this particular sandal did not fit well. They were loose and the straps were uncomfortable where they hit on my foot. Unfortunately I had to return.

I love these but they hurt so much, I have no choice but to return them. I wish they worked.

I really wanted to keep this shoe and if it fit in the size 8 W, I would have. I love docs and own a ton. This shoe is meant for a man and I believe the sizing is that. I straight up consistently wear a size 9 doc even though I am normally between a size 9 and 1/2 or 10 in other brands. The 8 was way too tight and the 9 was too big. I am assuming it was really meant for a man.

i was very upset when i recived this shoe being as though it clear as day on the box says its a man shoe. i ordered this from the womans section hmmmm?
