I love these shoes! They provide excellent grip, protect my toes, and are comfortable enough to walk in all day. I even get compliments on how stylish they are.

Teva Northwater Shoes are very stylish. My left foot is slightly smaller than my right therefore, I made an adjustment for this at the toe of the left shoe and now have a perfect fit. You may wear them with the strap across your foot or flipped to the back of the shoe. Looks great either way, I prefer it flipped back.

This is a really cute shoe. I love the brown which is more of a green color. I ordered my usual size 8 1/2 and size 9. I have moderately high arched feet and the front of my foot is a bit wide. The 9 was a better fit. The strap closes with a snap. I would prefer an adjustable strap with velcro as other manufacturers have done. There also is not any arch support but I think I can wear them without any foot issues, just wouldn't want to walk any distance in them.

I've had these shoes for about 5 years now. I originally bought two different colors (neither are still available) and I've been so impressed. I wore them around Chicago, where I walked around the city all day looking at museums and what not, which is the true test of a shoe's comfort, and they felt great! Additionally, they look nice with really close to anything. My only issue is that I really want to wear them all year round, but the heel cutouts prevent that from working. I think they'd be even better without them - maybe release a new model without that? Great shoe though, and great price.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I've gotten many compliments on them and plan to buy them in other colors. I'm usually between a 7.5 and an 8. The 8 fits perfectly.

Cute! I ordered my usual size 8 but my toes were right at the end, so I'm exchanging for an 8.5. The style is super cute and feminine! I love that the ankle strap in convertible. Now Teva just needs to add some fun, girly colors to choose from!

This is a really great and comfortable shoe. It's also very stylish. I especially like that the strap can be worn behind the heel which is most comfortable for me. Also, there is sufficient, comfortable room in the toe box. This is my first pair of Teva shoes and I couldn't be happier. I've ordered this shoe in two other colors.

Normally I am leery of ordering shoes online because I have trouble with the fit. However, these shoes are a dream. They fit perfectly and are so cute. I know I will get lots of wear from them. Also, the sizes seem to be very accurate. I wear a 7.5 and that is what I ordered. One happy customer!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I have had some back problems and I make sure I have on supportive shoes when shopping. I absolutely cannot wear flats. I fell in love with these shoes. No breaking in period required, and the fit was perfect. Glad Teva still makes size 5!

These are comfortable from the start! I have problematic feet and hard to find comfortable shoes. Might have to get in other colors!

I wanted a flat that was as comfortable as Teva sandals. This delivered! And the strap flips to behind the heel for a flat look. Love them!

These are the most comfortable shoes right out of the box. Hope to get more colors soon. They are very stylish on the foot.

These sandals are so comfortable and give me the support that I need for a 12 hour shift! I usually buy Merrell and J41, but I now have another favorite! The stylish backside of the sandals actually looks sexy!

These shoes are so comfortable and a perfect size 7.5 fit for me. From the moment I put them on, it was like walking on air. Add the fact that they they have plenty of style,and can be worn with anything. Can you say Score?

I now have this in the slate and turkish coffee -- I love this shoe to the point I'm considering buying all the colors. I liked the old Teva west water and this is similar but better looking on the foot. Very happy with this closed toe sandal! Comfortable as can be after a short day or two break in and the nonadjustable strap is actually just fine. It doesn't rub or constrict but it works well to keep the shoe comfortably secure.

I bought these to replace a five year old pair of nearly worn out Teva Westwater. I usually wear a size eight which was slightly too short. Reordered size 8.5 which are a good fit.

I agree with the reviewers who commented that the mary jane runs small. I am typically a size 7.5 medium, slightly wider across the ball of my foot. I have the older model of this shoe (in purple), which had a Velcro fastening for the strap, and is one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. I wanted to get this shoe in black, in the hopes that it could read as slightly dressier for city travel. This new model does look dressier, but it's also cut narrower across the toes than the old version, and the strap is relatively tight (I could fasten the button, but could feel the strap pressing down and it was tight across the toes). I returned the size 7.5, and went up a half-size--the fit is definitely better, although still not as loose as the old 7.5 in the toe area. I don't think of myself as having particularly high arches--I would guess most people would need to size up unless they have very slim, flat fee.

I wanted so much to love this shoe, but the strap didn't fit around my ankle! I've never had this problem with a shoe before, so it was surprising, but if they ever make an adjustable strap version, I'll be first in line.

I WANTED to love this shoe. However, the strap is a little snug, since I have a high instep. So, sadly, these will go back. They are cute, though. So, if you don't need a more generous strap around your ankle, these might work for you.

I wish that I had paid attention to the reviews. This pair is ridiculously small. I am returning them and hoping that the next size fits because they are exactly what I want. Usually when something does not fit, another size does not help the problem, but I have to try.

After all the great out of the box reviews, I was a bit nonplussed when I first wore these. I think the shoes are adorable, but they were a bit scratchy. Because the footbed is synthetic I've found they can get pretty stinky after a hot day in New Mexico. I use a bit of hand sanitizer on them and that does the trick. All in all I still like these shoes...they're a great casual, comfortable and cool shoe.

These are truly adorable shoes. My only issue is that I have a very high instep and the strap is sadly in the wrong place and won't fasten.. even with the ability for the strap to stretch a bit. So sad to have to send them back!

Cute, comfortable, lightweight shoes with good arch support. The shoes felt a bit short, but not so small that I needed to exchange them. The strap is not adjustable.

Nice shoe looks great -- but the inside smells a bit as you wear them. Perspiration of your feet and synthetic material of inside of shoe just are not very compatible -- odd smell with moisture.

Very cute, but ran small compared to nearly identical item from Teva bought several years ago. I normally wear 8.5, but this one was definitely too small -- my toes were cramped and pushed up against the toe of the shoe. Otherwise very cute shoe. May try it in a half-size -- or maybe even a full-size -- larger.
