I'm an active mom of two young sons, these shoes are perfect for the casual dressy days from church to family picnic. The size fits the same as other Dankso shoes. I do wish the straps over the toes were a bit tighter so they would help keep the foot up on the heel, but once I got used to walking in them it didn't bother me as much. Overall, very comfortable, cute, and practical for a mom shoe!

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable and cute. It did take a few wears to break them in as a few places rubbed my foot the wrong way but I thought they were so cute I kept wearing them and the issues resolved. I can wear them out and about all day and I don't typically wear heels or wedges when I'm walking around a lot. I'm a nurse and actually can't wear the Dansko clogs because of no ankle support. These are great!

Love the style of these shoes. Unfortunately the leather for the straps across the toe of the shoe was so soft that my foot slid over the toe and left a gap at the back. I was so disappointed to have to return them. I have a slightly wider that normal foot and have always worn a 37 with no issues. Happily Zappos was awesome as awesome as always!

Super cute, comfy, and on trend. The best thing is the moleskin foot bed, it doesn't stick or get slick.

I wore these out of the box and walked all over Washington DC for two days with nary a rub or pain spot. Plus they are super cute and don't look like Danskos (which is a plus in my book).

These are very cute & comfortable, but I find the incline far too steep. I bought another pair where the description lists the same ratio of front platform to height - a 2" difference, yet somehow the other pair felt much flatter. These just feel steep to me and I'm not a fan of that. I WISH WISH WISH shoemakers would create high shoes with LESS of an incline. If they raised the front platform of these by even 1/2" it would make a huge difference. Lastly, I felt these ran a tiny bit on the small side.

I have a pretty wide foot, size 9, so I ordered the 40. They are just too wide at the front, so much so that my toes kept sliding forward and over the edge of the shoe, even though they would have been a perfect length with more support in the instep. Something about the inability to adjust the heel straps puts your foot in a forward position as well, ahead of the heel by about a half inch. Weird fit, nice looking shoes, though.

Initially felt very comfortable and I loved the new style. I'm a Dansko wearer and loved to see shoes in a more modern style as I love the comfort of them. But after walking around inside for a while, the ball of my foot started to ache. Afraid to keep shoes at this price if not totally thrilled with the fit!

Much more comfortable than I thought they would be. Very easy to walk in and I have not worn heals in years! Great color, works with almost all other colors. My feet slip forward a tiny bit, I think I am still getting used to heels.

These are cute and comfortable but unfortunately too wide. I have fairly wide feet myself but the toe box area/straps are already loose, and you can see from the closure strap buckle marks that the leather will break in quickly. Going back.

I normally find Dansko's incredibly comfortable and well made, but somewhat clunky and ugly. So I was thrilled to see a pair that looked cute and stylish. However, after buying them, I found this style to be really uncomfortable, in that there isn't much support in the footbed, and my feet hurt after wearing them for even an hour. Also, they are not as cute on as they look in the pictures. They also run a bit small, about half a size. If I'd ordered them from Zappo's I'd return, but alas I got them from another vendor. I do love Zappo's and their customer service!

wanted to love them, but I just couldn't. First, you must realize that I'm 40 years old and have arthritis in my hip which prevents me (sadly) from wearing a heel that is too high. That said, this heel was too high for me. I also thought the foot bed in this shoe was not to traditional, comfy Dansko footbed. It was hard and clunky and made the balls of my feet hurt even without much walking. As for walking, there is zero rocking motion from the sole of this shoe. It felt like a heel-toe banging sensation with every step. I walk nearly a mile for my commute each day, so I often wear different shoes for that, but I was uncomfortable in these shoes just around my house. I'll be returning these (thanks Zappos, for the free shipping!!!) and probably needing to reconsider my relationship with Dansko. So sad.

This is a really cute sandal but did not work for me. I hoped that the platform height would make this a comfortable fit - but I did not find this sandal comfortable at all. Will keep looking.

I so wanted these to be my favorite go-to sandals for the summer. They are adorable and I thought they fit perfectly when I wore them around the house. Unfortunately, once I was standing and walking in them all day at work, I found that my toes began to creep out the end and they loosened up to the point that I couldn't wear them at all without constantly trying to slide my foot back into place. I think that the straps over the toes are too loose and those with feet that taper in at the toes will have issues. I was nervous about calling for a refund given that I had worn them a few times but, was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service! I did return them and am still in search of the perfect black sandal!

These are beautiful sandals, but they run wide and my feet slide down and my toes go over the edge. There is no fix for my foot-size. I wear a 37. These shoes were just too wide. I am returning them.
