The color is a greenish taupe,not at all like the image online, and it makes the leather look like plastic, and the shoe very cheap looking. The edges of the straps are rough and irritating to the skin. Back straps are too loose. Arch hits too far back.Extremely disappointed, I NEED a pretty walking sandal.

I love these shoes! I had the Sissy for many years and was delighted when Dansko came up with a stylish replacement. There is nothing orthopedic about these cute shoes at all. I have them in dark brown, and they go with much of my summer wardrobe. I have plantar fasciitis, and my feet actually feel good while wearing these shoes. I also love the velcro - it does not show, and it makes the shoes very adjustable. I wore them while walking all over Hawaii on vacation, and they were wonderful!

I love these sandals! They actually look better than the picture, the shade is a very pretty nude and the leather has a matte finish. They are super comfortable, you can be on your feet all they and they offer that extra arch support that Dansko clogs offer. I am a teacher and I wanted a pair of sandals that would look nice while offering the arch support of a clog foot bed. They are definitely worth the price. It might take some time to find the right spot to place the velcro; I had some light chafing marks on one foot and almost got a blister the first day, so I wore them every other day for the first week. The second week I was able to wear them two or three days in a row. Now I can wear them every day without a problem. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I don't like the feel of Dansko clogs and shoes but the sandals I have are very comfortable. I like the adjustable straps on these. The footbed is cushiony and has good arch support. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is the shoe is a little short. I wear a 7 1/2 so I get a 38 and it's always a little short but a 39 is too big. The straps are soft and don't rub and I can wear them all day at work.

This is my first pair of size 38s that are too short. As I wore them my toes were just too far over the front. Next time I will make sure they are true to size like my others. Dansko makes a wonderful shoe, I will be buying more.

These are way too small, but I ordered a 39 and a 40, my usual, although usually a bit large, fit, and the 40 fits much better. I would recommend you go a 1/2 to a whole size up.

I love these shoes! They seems to fit me well, but are a little shorter than the previous size 40 Danskos I have purchased, but still work for me. I give it 4 stars for comfort though, because the leather around the top digs into my toes/foot a little. I am fastening a cushion inside that part of the shoe to make it work for me because otherwise they fit well.

These shoes are wonderful with great support and easy to adjust straps. I have bunions and have a hard time finding attractive sandals that don't bother them. These are a perfect fit and I have gotten lots of compliments on them. So glad I purchased these!

I have owned enough Danskos over the years that I know how they feel with no purchase necessary. I have to agree with what a few others have pointed out, VELCRO? SERIOUSLY? One thing you NEVER WANT in a grown woman's shoe OR purse is VELCRO! Great for kids under the age of 5, maybe even 4, but for a WOMAN? Come on Dansko, WHAT were you thinking?? I hope the exec who thought that was a good idea was either sent BACK to fashion school, or demoted, I'd hate for them to be jobless, but I'm sure it went through many levels, and all who okay'ed this idea should be publicly flogged! However, on a good note, I have been a Dansko lover for just shy of two decades and have had pairs that I wear daily last me the better part of a decade! Extremely amazingly well made shoe (minus the above mentioned). I have owned: SOPHIE, THEA, PROFESSIONAL, RILEY, RANDA, SONJA, RACH plus several which are tragically no longer made so I have to find them by other means.

These shoes are super comfortable and provide a great secure feeling. I bought them to go with feminine, cotton, summer skirts and dresses. However, I decided to return as they appeared too orthopedic and too clunky with such dress attire. I bet they will look fine with more causal wear to include pants, jeans, and shorts.

I bought these shoes 6 months ago, haven't worn them a lot and the velcro is no longer holding. I'll never buy a Dansko shoe with Velcro again. They are too expensive to only last 6 months.

I wear a size 12 women's shoe and these were much too small; my toes hung over the end! Because they were so small, I could not really tell how they were supposed to feel as far as comfort so I am giving them three stars for overall and comfort.

I wish these looked good on my feet because they were so comfy and even fit my wide width feet. Unfortunately my feet just didn't look that hot in them. I think I need a wider front band sandal to hide the widest part of my foot.

I bought these last year thinking they were a bit more stylish than the Dansko sandals I wear to alleviate plantar fasciitis. While they were more attractive, I couldn't wear them as they are a hassle to deal with the Velcro closure and do not have the height and arch support I need. For me, they also seemed to run narrow. I couldn't wait to take them off every time I gave them a try which is unfortunate...they sit in my closet looking unworn and moderately cute.

I have EE width feet, with high arches and a high vamp. Since I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, I wear sandals to work every day. These are incredibly comfortable and pretty. They are great for my wide feet and arches. I would say you should size up--I typically wear a 9/40, but those felt too short. The 41 are perfect. The "speckles" are interesting in that they appear to change color depending on the light. Sometimes they are silver, sometimes gold, sometimes iridescent green.

This is a very comfortable shoe! The ONLY reason why I bought this shoe is that I have a broken leg and I needed a comfortable shoe with the same heel height as my ortho boot I must wear on my left leg. Yet, I'm sure I will get plenty of wear with this shoe once I'm out of the boot. This is usually not my style...that being said, the shimmer in the leather makes it somewhat chicer than I thought it would be. I bought it in black and in some light, it almost has a golden glisten to it due to the shimmer in the black leather. CAUTION - I had to order a size 40! I usually wear a size 8 1/2. But, the size 39 (my usual EU size) was too small as my heel hung over.

The covering on the sole to make it look like wood began pealing after three times wearing them. Totally disappointed!

I want to buy Dansko but I need size 45. There 43 is not a 12.5-13 it's like an 11. I buy earth shoes because their sizing is correct

I liked this sandal so much that this is my second color. I normally wear 38 in the Professional clog but I need a 39 in this style of sandal. I love the security of an ankle strap with the convenience and adjustability of Velcro. I wear this style when I want something a bit dressier.

Comfortable! I am 9-months pregnant and wore these shoes all day & night long as the maid of honor at my sister's wedding. Everyone was amazed at how well I made it through the day and I attribute most of it to the comfort of these shoes. The adjustable Velcro straps are awesome because they really allow for the perfect fit around your foot. Thank you! I also have a wide foot and while this shoe only came in regular width, it was still very comfortable and I could walk just fine in it (all day and night!).

These shoes are so very comfortable. The first pair were a little short in the toe bed for my taste, so I called and Zappos clearly explained how I could exchange them for the next size up without any additional charge or hassle. New pair arrived the very next day and were a perfect fit. Free return shipping label attached to first pair's box, and back they went. Love the human service and quality product with the great price.

Love these!!! Most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. Wore them around Disneyland for 4 days and never had an issue.

These are very cute and comfortable. The foot bed turns color with wear, as expected. I wish they were not both light and absorbent as that is impractical.

I have owned a pair of these and loved wearing them since May (past 4-5 months). I am on my feet a lot for work in the summer and these have provided me with excellent comfort and wonderful arch support, while still letting my feet breath, which in TX is definitely necessary. I get compliments on these and I feel they are quite stylish (of course, my style also tends to air on the side of 'comfortable', but they are cute compared to other comfortable sandals...like Eccos).

I absolutely love these shoes. I have two pairs and they are so comfortable. I have arthritis in my toe and this design lets me look professional but very comfortable. I have worn them all summer long. Zappos is a great company. I had to send some shoes back for fit and this company is a pleasure to do business with. I just received another order for shoes for the winter. Thank you.
