This is way more than I would normally pay for shoes (except hiking boots), but I was desperate for a pair of black semi-dressy shoes to replace a pair that I bought in 1997 and loved dearly. I wanted something I could wear in the evening that wasn't too dressy - something with sophisticated spunk; classy and fun at the same time. And comfortable. I can't comment on durability because I've only worn this pair once. They were a hit with my friends (who generally only see me in hiking boots or Chacos!). I normally wear a 7.5 but took a chance and ordered 7 on these based on other reviews and the fact that they have an open toe. They are fine. My left foot is longer and narrower than my right. Right foot has a bunion - not too bad yet. These shoes are fine on both feet.

I do not normally pay this much money for shoes, but I was feeling particularly self-indulgent, I liked the look of the shoe, and the reviews were good. So I ordered it in Black. OMG! I love this shoe! It is very stylish on, I received many compliments on it. I have flat feet and bunions, and I was worried about comfort. There is very little padding on the footbed, but no problems! The shoe is constructed to cradle the foot and support it just right. I wore this shoe for ten hours the first day and I can honestly say this was THE most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, including my running shoes. There was no "breaking in" needed. I guess the extra money IS worth it. I logged on and purchased two more pair the next day, a second pair in black as a backup and one in the taupe color. Love, love, love, this shoe! NOTE: Because I read the reviews before buying, I purchased a half-size smaller than I normally wear, and the fit is perfect.

I bought these shoes in Sisal and Black because they are so cute and comfortable. I can wear them with dresses or pants and they look great. I have never spent this much on shoes before, but once I saw the size of the heel I was sold. Definitely worth the money. I will probably order another color.

A beautiful shoe! Based on the reviews, I ordered my regular size 9 equivalent. I could barely get into this shoe, as I have a high instep and the back "bow" feature is fixed [no zipper as in Arche shoes]. Had to return it.

I purchased a pair of Paul Green booties last Fall and they quickly became my go to shoe for style and comfort. With that in mind I looked to see if there was a new style this year and I came across these gems! You don't have to compromise style for comfort with this beautiful shoe. So flattering, with the added bonus of being so comfortable! I purchased the Truffel color first then the red and the black! I love these shoes! I am 62 so a high heel is out for me, I wish I had the common sense years ago to wear this type of shoe to begin with, maybe I wouldn't have so many foot issues. Don't hesitate to purchase this shoe, your feet will thank you! I find them to be very true to size, based on other reviews I ordered a half size up and exchanged them for my regular size for a perfect fit.

I just love these shoes. This is my second pair of black ones. The other ones finally wore out and I needed to replace them and the dept stores do not sell them anymore. I also bought a pair of olvive green and navy blue I loved them so much. Great to wear with pants in the spring and Fall.

Pip toe edge is hurting, though overall shoe is true to size and width. Looks little bit "old lady style" - I am 49, and not ready for this yet.

These are expensive sandals, but to say that I love them is an understatement. I own three pairs--in navy, cashmere suede and brown metallic. My feet are problematic with bunions, pes planus and slight claw toes. These are very comfortable. The leather is very soft, the cage design is forgiving and modern, and the stacked heel is the perfect height. They can be dressed up or down. I've worn them with both cropped pants and dresses. The little bow in the back is adorable. These sandals are an enduring style, which just may justify its price!

true to size and super comfortable - like wearing slippers. I am flat footed, so I need support and these are as good as it gets in that regard. ;)

Very cute and comfortable shoe. I had to exchange for a half size larger but otherwise a beautiful leather shoe.

I purchased these shoes in sisal last summer, and I still love them. I wear them with dresses, ankle pants, long shorts and skirts. Without fail, women stop me to compliment the shoes and ask where I got them. I can wear them all day at work or shopping and my feet never hurt. They were worth ever penny I spent.

Love these shoes, run small. Will order next size up.

Fabulous shoes. Worth every penny. I walked all over Las Vegas in a pair that I purchased and my feet still felt good. In fact, because of that, my mom also purchased a pair. Highly recommend Paul Green shoes. I only have a couple pair, and they are all equally comfortable.

This is truly an awesome shoe, I am returning it though because it runs larger than expected, I should have paid attention to previous reviews.

Comfortable and stylish. Soft leather needed no breaking in. I tried the very similar Munro style, which was less expensive, but it did not feel as good nor look as delicate.

These are some of the best shoes I have ever purchased. I just walked all over town in them and I don't even want to take them off. Very stylish. I purchased in black and tan. They are true to size. Highly recommend.

Most comfortable shoes with a heel I have worn in ages. Feel like I could run in these with no problems. Sizing is odd. Had to order half size larger. With many saying it runs big I almost didn’t order. I wear a 10. Ordered a 10 on Amazon & couldn’t get it on! Got 10.5 here and it was perfect. So I’d say they run a half size small. Got the olive & it’s a kind of neutral color and looks very stylish. Love, love, love these shoes!

Shoe is beautiful. I ordered the olive suede in a 6.5 my normal size . It was falling off my foot. Ran large for sure. The shoe was very comfortable but I guess I’ll pass on this one. I need to try it in the store.

I referred to the size chart because I wear either an 8 or 8.5 size shoe. I also have a high instep, so when I saw how high the shoe goes up on the instep, plus the size chart, I ordered an 8.5. It fits perfectly. The heel is a great height and the elastic heel strap makes it easy to get into. The shoes are very comfortable and I think they are a style that you can wear with dresses or slacks.

Paul Green shoes are the most comfortable and well made shoes I've ever owned. I have this shoe in 6 colors, they are amazing. I can walk all day in these right out of the box. Treat yourself to this beautiful shoe. Every time I wear a pair, ladies stop me to ask who makes them!

Beautiful sandal. As always, Paul Green has designed a stylish shoe with an outstandingly comfortable fit. I have the Cayanne style in 3 colors as they fit my foot like a glove - just as this one does. Worth every penny :-)

I ordered these shoes for my Mom. She can no longer wear high heels, and was looking for something lower and stylish, but comfortable. These totally fit the bill. While on the spendy side, they are well worth the money.

Beautiful pair of shoes and fits very well. Worth the money. My right foot is the problem, my troublesome right toe rubs on the leather when I walk.
