Mesh inner sleeve lining means: your arms get caught going into the sleeve. Baggy hood with no stowaway in collar. No inside pockets. No two-way zipper. No armpit venting.

The jacket is great. Very nice style and not bulky. Will work great for keeping dry. Tip: I ordered a size S based on the 6'2" model wearing a size M for my son who is 5'8" and 145 lbs. The small was too small. I exchanged for a medium.

Great waterproof jacket that doesn't make you feel hot in the summer heat. Bought this because I live in FL. Lots of heat and lots of rain. Was tired of my windbreaker soaking through when it rained. This does the job perfectly. I do suggest buying one size up from what you want. I bought an XL for myself. I have a 46" chest. If you're going to wear this with sweatshirts, you might want to go two sizes larger. My XL is okay with a sweatshirt underneath. But a little snug.

Bought this for my son for a trip to Scotland. He is between an adult small and adult medium in shirts and I bought him the adult small. It fit well and kept him dry.

This jacket should just be called the waterproof edition rain jacket because that is just what it does! If you want to stay completely dry in bad rainy weather then buy this jacket! I wear this jacket for work when it rains and even when it is not, it is ridiculously comfortable and extremely lightweight!

All around a great jacket! I would recommend it due to the material, style and comfort. The only problem was the sizing. I returned a large for a medium. It was way too big. My husband enjoys wearing this jacket.

A great jacket! Definitely waterproof, works great for rain. The cuffs are a bit tight however, and the velcro wrist ties don't completely wrap around my wrist.

Pros: it's definitely waterproof: I was out in some heavy rain for a while and there was no water getting in. It fits well: I'm 6'2" and pretty thin, most things that are long enough are super billowy, this is tapered well. It's a bit tight in the shoulders when reaching with both arms, but normally I get an XL, not a L as I wanted something less baggy so that's ok with me. It's weight: is next to nothing, seriously this thing is so light and packs small, pretty sweet. Cons: umm.. Ok, I guess I don't like that it doesn't have an inner breast pocket, only two pouch pockets. But the two that it does have are good size with good zippers (overall the zippers are a good quality). The draw strings for hood: the one curls a bit and several times I was convinced a bug was on my neck. There was no bug, just draw string. So yeah, buy the jacket, it's good.

I was looking for a lightweight, but waterproof jacket. My wife has had one for years and it appears nearly identical to this new one. This should serve for warmer month's camping and hiking. It is nearly a pound lighter than my winter weather suit (different brand) and packs a little tighter too. I am 5'8" and the fit (size - regular) is nice. The sleeves are long enough to cover my hands (which I like) but there are velcro straps if you want to snug the sleeves around your wrist. The hood is minimal so I use a ball cap under to help shield my face. There are bungee cords to snug it down. I'm fine with the loose ends (when tightened down) but they annoy my wife. It has two zip up pockets (each side of the coat) that seem appropriate.

I bought this jacket for an upcoming trip i have, where it is expected to be cold and rainy. I luve in Florida, so I figured buying one of these would be useful year round as it was. Once I tried it on, i realized I should have bought one of these a long time ago. The fit runs just a fine, if not, just a bit bigger but that's great if you're planning on wearing a sweater inside. The hoodie is also excellent. I recommend it!

Nice jacket. It rains a lot in the Seattle area and I primarily use it when I walk my dogs. It's relatively breathable as well as waterproof and does a good job of keeping the wind out. I'd buy it again. Fits true to size. I typically wear an XL and the XL fits great. It's a great value for a rain coat without the price point of a Gore-Tex jacket. I would it it again.

I am impressed with how water tight this jacket is. I also appreciate the extra length on the cut of the jacket. I am tall and covers my whole torso well. The seams are sealed well and it definitely is breathable too. Fits true to size and is very pack friendly.

Great rain jacket and is exactly what I needed. I don't spend long periods of time in the rain, I usually opt for a hoodie or non-rain jacket. I needed something for those off days when the storms roll through when walking to the car will drench you. I also needed something small and packable to put into a backpack for trips out of town during the rainy season. The jacket can roll up very small into its hood. This jacket is lightweight and leaves room to layer up underneath with ordering my regular jacket/hoodie size- this is ideal in a rain jacket because you likely wont be wearing it all day but still need warmer clothing under. When zipped all the way up, the (bill?) on the hood subtly protrudes enough to keep rain away from your face. Overall great jacket, solid color with low profile logo, looks good.

This jacket is a good high quality rain coat. Fit runs a little large but was great for spring skiing when temps were on the cool side. It is a simple coat without lots of features like extra pockets, etc.

I just used it for Atmospheric River. The coat material is softer than my another raincoat, which made the folding a lot of easier. It also keep the water out well. Breathability is well.

I like to wear blaze orange for safety during any firearms hunting season, whether I am hunting or hiking. The website pictures for the Backcountry Orange color looked like a bright orange. However, the jacket I received was more of a brown orange. It is too close to the color of a deer for safety, I left it in the package because I'm returning it.

I had been looking for a rain coat that was 100% waterproof but didn't feel like I was wearing a rubber suit. This coat is the most comfortable I have ever had. The fabric is soft and supple, especially for a waterproof material. The lining makes it super comfortable.

Very nice fit throughout entire jacket. Left jacket in my car for a couple days during Texas heat and the waterproof ability is still perfect.
