These are excellent boots that are built to last. Break in is a little rough due to the high quality of the leather. I suggest using mink oil on the leather (help soften it) and an extra pair of socks or mole skin. Once broken in they are a dream to wear, the vibram soles are very comfortable. Highly recommended if you have the patience to break them in properly.

Really great quality. Best fitting most comfortable boot I've worn. Took about two weeks to break in. Used to wear Red Wings, but they just never fit me quite right. These are perfect. I have a wide foot, ordered the 12 EE they fit me exactly perfect.

Good boots. The eyelets on my first pair had some ragged edges that ripped through about four pairs of laces. I do concrete work and they are great summer boots. No insulation to heat your feet up. Im on my second pair now with no complaints. I plan on buying them again.

I have had these boots for about 6 weeks now. I work and stand on concrete 8-10 hours a day I do not have one problem with sore feet now. These boots also offer really great breathability, I typically have very hot feet in boots (with lining) and these with no lining have been great. The only problem I had was breaking in the heel top portion of the boot (both boots) where the leather is folded over for the top of the boot. This area really rubbed the back of my leg. All I did for about 4 weeks was wear lambskin tape. After about 4 weeks of break in I did not have any problems. The leather really softens up. I would recommend these boots to someone who stands all day and works in a warm/hot environment.

Size was perfect but like others have stated the leather is a little stiff. Great quality and a good leather softener will help with break in. Top notch product!

I like these boots but they ran small compared to my other Danner boots.

Love the look of these, but BRUTAL break-in. The sole is running shoe like and super comfortable, but the upper leather, especially the back, right above the heel is stiff. So stiff it nearly wore a hole through Darn Tough socks and made me bleed for days. I imagine once the upper softens up, they're going to be very comfortable. But until then, time to break out the band-aids.

I usually wear Red Wings and decided to try something new. These are good quality boots but I like the Red Wings better.

I love Danner boots, but these boots were a big disappointment. Sizing was way off (much larger than expected) and the boots did not seem to be constructed in any way that would allow for actually walking around in them!
