My husband loves these boots. He has many issues with his feet and ankles, and can wear these and his feet feel great. He works construction, so I would highly recommend these. I came back and bought them in black also. Well worth the money.

Excellent! Danner has never failed with fit and durability. Very comfortable, supportive and sturdy boot. Use the for rugged mountain terrain around my farm. Very good traction. They don't slip or slide in loose soil. Keeps feet dry (gortex lined). Good toe protection! Love these boots! Love Danner boots. Period!

The Danner Vicious boots are the most comfortable boots out of the box I have ever purchased! One day break-in and they were good to go. Very supportive, totally waterproof and love the wide toe box so your toes can spread out and not get too cramped, especially on steep descents. I wear 11.5 in most shoes and ordered a half size up per other's recommendations and they fit perfect. Thank you Danner for a well designed boot and thank you Zappos for the great customer service!

This is probably my 5th pair of the Danner Vicious. This is an all around great work boot. My last pair has lasted almost 2 years, and still have a little life left in them. This boot runs a little snug in the toes, so what I always do with this particular boot is order it in a wide, and then it fits just fine! Comfort is excellent after a few days of wear break in. I do Pest Control for a living, s9 I do a tremendous amount of walking! The Vibram soles have excellent slip resistance! They do wear a little warm, it that is due to the GorTex Waterproof Lining, which I have to have. And as always, Zappos has Amazing Customer Service, and super fast shipping! I have tried many many other brands of work boots, and for me, this is the best! I also like the 4.5” height.

I originally ordered a 13, but they were too short in the toes, so I reordered 13 wide, and the fit was perfect for me.

I will be returning the boots because they are too wide for my foot unfortunately.

The boots are the most comfortable I've purchased in many years. Other reviews warned of their narrowness so I ordered extra-wide which I never do. Judging from how perfectly they feel, I owe someone or someones a beer for the good advice. If you truly have an extra wide foot I'm not sure these would be the right boot for you.

I want these shoes. I've actually tried to buy them twice, but even the wides are a bit too tight around the ball of my foot. Great looking shoe. Seems well constructed. Just wish for a wider version personally

Excellent quality boot that was comfortable from the first time I put them on. I ordinarily take a 10.5 D but got these in EE width. They fit well and allow me to wear heavier socks. Length has not been a problem. I do find them a bit stiff and after wearing them daily for a couple of months now they are still so. The boot really holds up well and do not show any wear or marks on the outside. The toe box is wide and comfortable with a protective cap, fortunately not steel. The Danner Vibram sole provides excellent traction particularly on ice and has gotten a good workout this winter in western Montana. The durability and quality do result, though, in a somewhat heavier boot. I highly recommend this product.

These are great boots. I wear them to work every day on a golf course. Over the years I have tried many different brands of boots including the much more expensive ones. Typically I was getting 6 months out of a pair; these have lasted over two years now and are every bit as comfortable as any boot I've worn in this class. Thanks Danner!

I really like these for light to moderate hiking. I usually wear a 9.5 M, so that's what I ordered. But they were too tight, so I returned them and got a 10 M. These fit well. Painless return process!. One more reason to do business with Zappos!

I have only had them for a couple of weeks, but they seem well constructed. They are comfortable, sturdy and breath well.

I bought these for my husband to work in. He is a truck driver and works in all sorts of weather conditions. This is his second pair of Danner boots and he loves the comfort and look.

This is a great boot. I do landscaping for a living and this boot is perfect. A little stiff at first but once broke you can wear them all day. I will buy Danner boots again.
