Always love Columbia outdoor clothing, they are technologically functional and fit very well too. I just came back from a National Forest camping trip. I wore this for 2 days straight doing camping and hiking. This shorts are so comfortable and functional. The weather was hot, humid and rained multiple times, this shorts are sweat and smell proof while quick dry. I didn't even feel the dampness. The little zipper pocket is so handy to keep my small valuables such as keys. The two pockets are also useful. Also a plus is it is so versatile, goes well with any shirt, and looks great!

The size and fit were perfect - I'm 5-9.5", 145#, wear size 10 or 32/32 pants. These will make perfect river shorts and are very comfortable and roomie (good for layering over my wetsuit OR swimsuit), but fit well on the hips (drawstring helps!). I bought 2 pair because the price was very good. So glad I did!

Love these Columbia Sandy River Shorts. I first ordered four pairs in black and assorted bright colors several years ago and they are still going strong. Most recent order of three pairs in softer colors arrived days ago. Quality of new shorts is same as the originals. Thanks to Columbia and Zappos!

Nice material but a boxy cut and not figure flattering for me. I'm 5'4" 130 lbs and bought a small. Sending back.

Great shorts, nice price, Columbia shorts are well made and last for a long time.

I typically wear a medium in Columbia clothing, but these were cut odd. They ride up the back and crotch. Based off the size chart they should have given me a lot more room than they did. They looked nice on but very odd fit.

True to size. I’m usually a sm/md or 6/8. The medium was plenty roomy- maybe could have gotten the small. So comfy and great length.

I really like these shorts and have 4 pairs. The colors are bright. They are thin and comfortable. I like them for camping, hiking and water days. They dry fast. I wear a size 8 in jeans and order these shorts in a Large.

Great shorts - wound up purchasing 4 pair in different colors. We ordered several colors, in Small & Medium, since we weren't sure of the fit. Wound up with the Small (5'5" & 125 lbs) but found that the sizing varied within the Smalls. Some were tighter and shorter, some were looser & longer. We ultimately found several pair that fit and are comfortable - but please work on consistent sizing. Also, please note that some of the lighter colors are a little see-through if you're wearing dark underwear. Would require nude underwear for those.

These are great for hiking or just being outdoors! They are light, cool, and dry quickly.

Love these shorts. Its all I wear in the summer.

Decent shorts. Fit well, not so flattering. I like the tidal shorts best for a curvy shape

Great material. Fits the thighs great, but it's a little big on the waist. Thankfully it has a drawstring. I'm 5'3" 115lb athletic build. I've found most of Columbias gear to vary in size. Some pants I wear XS, S, 2, and 4. These shorts were perfect in XS.

These shorts are cut weird and they are see-thru. Got the medium which is what I usually wear, way tight in the butt, and waist and too short. Sent back and got the large, poofy at the crotch and again weird cut at the legs, sent back again, just didn't fit my body style, which is athletic but not overweight.

Bought these for work and I absolutely love them. Just ordered more in different colors.

I like these shorts - but I ordered them in the 3" inseam, and that is a bit short for me. However they will be good for a hot summer day, or over a swimsuit at the pool or beach.

My new favorite shorts! I love the color and cut, and the 5" inseam is perfect (I'm 5'7", but with long legs).

Quick dry, fit as expected. Drawstring to make exact fit at waist.
