I bought this shoe as a cross trainer (which it is listed as) for BodyCombat, TurboKick, BodyAttack. I'm keeping the shoe to wear during BodyPump and to go for walks. I found that during lateral movements and movements that required me to push off of the side of my foot (side lunges, ice skaters, etc) that my foot would slide off of the platform of the shoe. The area around the toes is made of cloth without any additional support. Strange, as this is considered a support shoe. In any case, there isn't anything to hold your foot in place. If you want this shoe for walking, elliptical training, running, then I think that it would be a good shoe. Don't use it for Zumba, Jazzercise, kick boxing, etc or you will be quite disappointed.

Okay, wow! I'm a 5'6 and 130lb 30 year old mom with very wide feet due to bunions caused by hereditary hypermobility. I had just about had it trying to squeeze my feet into shoes that don't fit- and oh the pain! I had some reservations about buying online, but if you are like me...there is nothing for you in regular stores. Don't kid yourself. Other buyers have mentioned Zappos amazing customer support - I didn't have to return anything but they sure got them to me fast! Do yourself a favor and measure your own foot! There are tons of tables online. Do not trust those metal sizers! I was told for years I was 8.5 B in womens and my feet felt awful. I sized myself and it came to US 9D! Bought these shoes in black/white with pink logo for everyday use and I love them! They are like slippers! Best fitting shoe I have ever owned. I roll up my skinny jeans with these babies and they look awesome! Even wore them under casual dresses. Despite my foot size, they make my feet look small. I have done mild aerobics in them with great support- nice and light. The mesh allows a little give too and with a pair of Smartwool socks I have even comfortably worn them in 25 degrees F. Excuse my enthusiasm, but I am just so impressed with these. New Balance has always been great- but even better when you have the right size. Definitely recommended these for wide footers. Worth every penny.

Read the reviews and bought these for zumba, but have worn them for work and for folk dance too. Lightweight, less "bounce" and support than the Rykas I also bought, but very supple and stretchy and comfortable. I need wide shoes, wear NB almost exclusively now. Recommended by a friend while at the grocery store. I actually had her take off her shoe so I could get the model number#.

I finally found my 1 shoe for everything! Just took a vacation and did not want to bring separate shoes for the gym and to wear around shopping but I bought these thinking they would look cute and be comfortable around the city and hopefully get me in the gym in the morning. Overall great shoe! looks great and was so comfortable.

I bought these in the neon yellow color and they are so much fun! I teach Zumba and have a hard time finding a shoe that will allow lateral movements, slight traction and yet enough padding on the bottom for slight jumping. I also tend to supinate (under-pronate) and this shoe keeps me from rolling out. Due to high arches, I have to wear orthotic inserts since there is no arch support. I'm back on Zappos.com to see what other colors I want to purchase!

I wanted cute and light, and this is it. I wear this sneaker only when doing errands, to the supermarket and to Pilates class etc. It's a bit tight with running socks. So I've not worn it on my daily 3 mile walks because I bought the size 9. If your getting them, take a half size large.

What a comfortable pair of shoes! I have been struggling for over a year to find a comfortable pair of sneakers - a result of several foot troubles. These shoes are true to normal New Balance sizing, have excellent heal and ball of food support, are light weight, and are VERY flexible in the toe. The fabric is breathable and I love the watermelon color! So thrilled overall and so happy that my feet are happy! Thank you New Balance and Zappos!

I've had two Plantar fasciitis surgeries and I have a hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet, but these New Balance WX711 have been great. I bought them in wide to give my toe joints some room. Thinking of getting a second pair within the next few months.

The material of the show makes it very pliable. Since I have bunions I am not always an easy fit. Love the color combinations.

The new balance cushion is awesome so comfortable I have bought 2 pair and love them. My feet don't hurt when I wear them. Can't say enough about them.

Seems like a good shoe for moderate activity but I am exchanging to try a half size larger. I am wearing the 659 currently and this shoe is definitely shorter than it. I think the width is probably the same but seems a little tighter due to the length.
