This jacket is fine, but I wish they would take into account the Big&Large sizes. It's not that it didn't fit, but it was a tight fit. Trim small people may like that, but larger people (or at least I do) like to have a little more breathing room in our jackets. Again, it's not that it didn't fit, it is just a snug fit.

Pro: The jacket is well designed and functions well. Watertight in rain and snow. The hood is not adjustable, but functions well with a cap. Full mesh lining keeps shell away from clothes and skin. It also adds a bit of warmth. Con: The jacket fits a full size smaller than marked. The sleeve lining protrudes from the cuff when jacket is put on and has to be tucked back in. Every time. Conclusion: Order this jacket a size larger than normal and you will have a good looking, high quality jacket that you will wear often.

Nice jacket but this is no tall. I'm 6-5 and the sleeves are a good 2" above the wrist. Very unfortunate, I thought this would be a winner. Body length is tall but sleeves are not long.

Nice jacket overall, but the mesh on the inside at the sleeves rubs uncomfortably on my husband's arms. That was his only complaint, but it's a big one. Why is the mesh necessary at the sleeve area? It just seems weird and unnecessary.

I am sorry to say this is not Columbia's best work the jacket somewhat keeps you dry but in turn it makes you sweat and if the rain is more than a hard drizzle the jacket becomes soaked with water with somewhat sweaty arms and back if you have just a t-shirt on under this jacket, I have to admit I am appreciative of being able to get a larger size 5xl Columbia keep up the good work this is one that just needs to be worked on a little bit better to make it perfect or at least almost perfect.

Nice coat, description says runs small size up, which I did and it was too large. Had to return and order my normal size

I wear a 2XL in everything. I always have a good amount of room for comfort. I bought 2XL in this jacket and it fits snug. Not my favorite.

Nice rain coat but I should have ignored the size recommendation displayed, it is at least 2 to 3 sizes too big. That being said, it is well made and made a nice gift for someone else. I would recommend but don't follow the website size recommendation.

The into sleeve comes down below the bottom where tbe clasp is, so that it shows.

I'm a huge fan of Columbia products. This is the first time I've had a item run a bit small. This jacket runs a bit short in the arms. Never had that happen in a 3xlt item.

The quality of this rain jacket is Columbia. I was surprised to find the sleeves being short. I am 6'2" 190lb with, of course, long arms. I always order LT and that usually works fine. The catalog picture shows the sleeve ending over the heal of the model's hands. The sleeves on the jacket delivered to me end at the upper wrist. Weird fit to say the least. The body is baggy but the shoulders are sort of tight. Not being a muscular build this kinda surprised me also.

Colombia normally makes jacket very well but for some reason the one I bought wasn't true to size so I plan on returning it. It was bought on sale so maybe that's why.

I've been a devoted customer for many years, and this is the first Columbia product that failed me. You'd think a jacket called "Watertight" would be just that. If you need a casual rain jacket, or one for commuting, this jacket will probably be just fine for you. I work in construction, and after 3-4 hours of mostly light rain, it started to soak through in the chest and the seam down the sleeves. The lining helped to keep me mostly dry, but I was cold (it was about 65-70 degrees and windy). Hopefully, I can find a Columbia jacket that can perform the way I need. Pros: Good for short periods in the rain, Good fit in the body, Good for rain on warmer days to keep cool Cons: Waterproofing did not hold up to constant moisture, the hood is too big, the sleeve lining is too loose and sticks out the wrist bands (a common issue with all my Columbia Jackets)

It's a good, lightweight rain jacket. As been mentioned before, there's no way to adjust how far the hood comes forward so it has the tendency to get into your eyes. I wear a baseball cap with it which takes care of the problem. My big problem with the jacket is the net lining is not sewn or attached to the jacket the shoulder so when you put your arm into the sleeve, you push the lining out the cuff. It could also use a pocket on the inside too. For the price, not a bad, lightweight rain jacket.

I bought this after returning the Columbia Dr Downpour jacket, which was not available in 3XL and whose 2XL was too snug. There was a small difference in price, but the practicality was considerably less. The fabric and fit were fine but my chief grouses about the Watertight are that the hood does not stow away and there are only two side pockets. There are no inside ones, no breast pockets, all of which are offered on the Downpour. The front is zippered with minimal Velcro patches - no press studs. All in all, a cheaper, less useful version.

Great looking jacket, well constructed and from when I tried it on it appeared to be very breathable. However, it was not proportioned appropriately for me. I am 6'5" weigh 230 lbs and have a 36 1/2" sleeve length. XL-Tall is my jacket size except when the jacket is cut slim or very fitter. The jacket fit everywhere except the arm holes and sleeves. The arm holes were cut high -- tight under the arms -- and the sleeves were an inch too short with the jacket on over a T-Shirt. No way I would be able to wear a fleece under it. Had to send it back.

It looks great, and it's lightweight and pretty comfortable, though it doesn't breathe very well. It's not very durable after a month of regular use in Portland it's started leaking in various spots, and I broke through the elbow without enough force to leave a bruise or scratch on my skin. I wouldn't set out to buy it again, but there aren't really many/any options in my size. For the price, I expect more...an inside pocket would be greatly appreciated.

Very basic rain jacket. There are two things that annoy me about it though. 1) Pockets are uneven in depth (still functional, but just QA niggle) 2) Sleeves are too tight. If I'm wearing anything of substance long-sleeve underneath, the lining comes out at the cuffs when I put it on. A bit uncomfortable.

Seems like a nice jacket, but the sleeves are too short. I have a few other Columbia jackets in the same size (LT) that fit perfectly. Not sure why this one is so short.

Sleeves were too short for being a Tall. Coat is small for size indicating it is XL Tall. Quality of coat seemed good. Ordered a 2nd coat and that fit fine and was the same size.

I like the color and that it's lightweight but it's not waterproof. The last few times I've worn it in the rain I have wet spots where water has come through. It's disappointing to say the least when it's advertised as waterproof.

The pictures show an older, more quality jacket then the one you actually receive. The new jacket does not come with an embroidered Columbia tag or the pocket to store the jacket within itself.

I got a large tall and the torso is way too long long but the sleeves are still too short, the hood is also too small. I am extremely disappointed and I will be returning it.
