This is a solid rain jacket! Light weight but definitely durable. It is a good purchase. I love the color choice. Only thing I really would prefer is to loose the velcro tabs. They are annoying to ME

Quality rain jacket that keeps me warm and dry. Comfy too. Only complaint is that there are no pit zips to vent the jacket when I'm out running/cycling.

I bought this for walking in my neighborhood in the rain. I wanted to be seen and stay dry. It's the perfect fit and the hood is big enough to keep the rain off my face. Great design!

I bought this for my daughter that is going to school in Hilo Hawaii. The rainy season there is the real deal. She loves the jacket and it looks great on her. She told me it works perfect for the warm down pours and keeps her dry. Columbia is a great company

I normally wear a L in shirts, but most of the reviews said this ran big so I ordered a M. It's a bit snug across the bust. But the arms are extra long so maybe it would fit a monkey. I do like the fabric, tho, so I'm going to order a L so it'll fit over whatever top I have on. Very light weight.

This fits me perfectly, and is flattering. I am 5’1” and weigh about 124 pounds, and the medium fits me perfectly with enough room for my Patagonia Nano Puff jacket and a fairly thick sweater or fleece underneath.

Perfect for our cruise. Did reorder a larger size because the material has ZERO give so when you move your arms, the jacket doesn’t give any along the back shoulders plus it’s not pleated.

I love everything about this jacket which is going to go with me to Europe later this fall. It is lightweight, packable, and waterproof. I love the zippers to keep out pickpockets, plus the velcro for quick on/off. It fits beautifully. I am a size 6, but ordered the Medium due to bust size. Fits great, looks great.

I bought this jacket in the navy blue color, in a size medium. I am 5' 10" and 117 lbs and because I'm so tall with long arms i bought a medium. The medium is a great fit for me. I am able to wear it by itself but there is also room for a few layers underneath. it comes down to a perfect length. It does its job and keeps you dry. The arms came down to right after my wrist and have a velcro at the wrist where you can make it tight at the wrist. The jacket also has two zippered hand pockets. The hood has a little visor thing almost to keep the water away from your eyes, but you can't really tell when you look at the jacket so thats good. The hood also has drawstrings so you can make it tighter. the only possible downside to it is that the hood is not very roomy. But that should not deter you from choosing this jacket. i was debating between this and a few other columbia rain jackets and some other brands. also i bought this online without trying it on in a store. Overall, this jacket has turned out great and exactly what i am looking for. if you are hesitating between this and some other columbia rain jackets, this is for sure a reliable choice.

Effective jacket. I haven't had the opportunity to wear it yet in pouring rain, but in light, continuing rain it's quite effective. The jacket does get hot though because it does not have any venting.

Love this rain coat! Its more feminine/flattering than some others I've tried. Not warm, but lined with mesh. I would recommend

I purchased the jacket for my trip to London in early June. I received it fairly quickly. The jacket is true to fit; it appeared as advertised on the site, too bad there were no inside pockets. The price was right. Overall very pleased with my purchase...thanks Zappos.

Clean lines with just a little bit of tapering around the waist to be more flattering. I am 5'4", 130 lbs and the small fits well, with enough room for a couple of layers underneath. Not a fan of the velcro, but it doesn't show too much. Everything else (zippers, material, etc.) is very nice.

This runs large. My daughter is size 4 and was swimming in a size S. Also, the zipper catches on the Velcro overlay.

True to size. Color is darker than the picture, thus the four stars and not five (I got the Waterfall color , but it’s more of a green).

I love the iceberg/aqua color & the quality is good. I love these Columbia rain shells & needed a new one after 10 years with my last one! I dinged a star because I feel the old one I had was better quality/felt more substantial & had a few vents. Also, my other one's hood had a draw string around the edge of the hood while this one is about an inch in, so there's unstructured flapping that can happen in the wind. Although I have a small head & because of the draw string placement, I think my hairline will get wet. The size is spot on: I'm a typical XS & the XS fits great with room for a fleace (I'm 5'2, 118 lbs, 32C for reference). Great 5-star Zappos service & delivery.

I have other jackets that are fleece and with 3 dogs the fleece is a magnet for dog hair so I wanted a jacket that would not attract so much hair or at least be easier to get the hair off of. I would have preferred just a zipper without the little Velcro next to the zipper but it's not a deal breaker. I'm 5'7" and 143 and I got the medium and it's a tad big but it will allow for layers underneath.

The only thing I would change about this jacket is the velcro that is used to cover the zipper. Naturally, velcro sticks to fabric, and I have to make sure I am careful when the jacket isn't zipped. I tend to zip it at all times so it doesn't ruin other clothing. Could it not be made with snaps, or a snag free velcro? On the bright side, the waterproof fabric is indeed waterproof.

Great lightweight, waterproof jacket that can be stored in its own pocket when not in use. The White/Flint Grey is an eye pleasing combination that looks clean and feminine (as far as sports/outdoors jackets can go). Drawstrings around the waist and hood really does ensure a good fit keeping water out. However, hood is not deep; if you wear your hair in a ponytail don't expect a roomy fit. Sizing was a bit difficult. I'm in between S and XS. XS felt snug most in the hips, whereas S felt large & long in the arms. Neither is a perfect fit for me but in the end I chose S and happy with the purchase for its functionality and general style.
I'd also recommend:
Northface, Jack Wolfskin

I loved this jacket, however not everything about it was great. It fit perfectly everywhere except my hips. I had lightweight clothing on and I could barely get the zipper closed. According to the size chart, the size I chose should have fit and I suppose that technically it did. However, it wasn't comfortable for me so I returned it.

I wanted to love this jacket but it lacks basic features such as arm pit zips and the biggest complaint is the hood is too short. I tried walking and could not get good coverage on my head. The hood is basically useless walking in the rain. I tried adjusting with the little toggles and that did not work either. This is an okay jacket for trips to the store in inclement weather but not good for out door activities in rainy weather. disappointed. I just didn't want to spend the money on another Patagonia. I guess you get what you pay for.
