I'm pretty specific and hard to please when it comes to shoes for exercising. I'm an overweight walker/jogger/occasionally runner for short sprints. I also have completely flat feet and severely overpronate. So far (2 weeks) these shoes are great. They have a lot of cushion, but are also supportive in the middle and keeping my gait in check. My only complaint would be the color. I really don't like it at all. Luckily I don't care what I look like while jogging. :) I was using the Stabil from Saucony, which were fine. I just wanted a change. Time will tell if I do these or the Stabil next time. But my immediate reaction is very positive.

I have never rated a product before, but these shoes are excellent! I bought my normal size and they fit like a glove. Put them on, with thin cotton socks, and walked 3 miles with zero rubbing or break-in time. I have a high instep and over pronate, but these shoes made both of those issues a moot point. I highly recommend these shoes!

I have flat arches, and over pronation on my left foot. As a result I damaged a tendon and have bone spurs. I have spent the last few weeks shopping for shoes to meet my need. The Asics Fortitude 3 had good reviews so I tried them. I ordered the wide to give my feet more room for orthotic inserts. The Fortitude 3 has really good arch support, but I needed a kick further. This was the first shoe that had enough support that when I add the inexpensive insert purchased from my Dr. it feels perfect. It saved me from having to order those expensive custom made inserts. I love Zappos and their service. Shopping was easy, shoes described well,and fit as described. Zappos has definitely become one of my go-to stores for my hard to fit feet. Thank you Zappos for your great service.

Greatest shoe ever especially for pronators or larger frames with with a normal or slightly pronated gait. Fabulous support. Didn't even need orthotics. Originally bought them for my daughter (flatter feet) and then bought them for myself as well. I'm so glad they brought this model back.

So many good things about this shoe. It has enough arch support in the right place. Ample room in the toe box so toes aren't squished. Lots of cushion. However the heel comes up too high around my ankle, and puts pressure around the ankle. Modest but not boring coloring. Had to send back due to the ankle being too tall. Sad...

These shoes are perfect for me. I usually have to wear orthotic inserts, but not with these. I bought the wide width because of a bunion, and am so glad. Because of the return policy, I bought from Zappos. They arrived quickly. and I'm definitely keeping these!

If I did not throw out the box, I would have returned them. When I walked the first time, my socks kept moving around which was very annoying, and, I got a blister on my big toe. They just seemed like half a size larger.

Nice looking shoe. But I had the same problem with this as with the Gel-Express. Shoe is not deep enough over the metatarsal area. Ball of my foot feels squashed. Could never get my orthotics in.

I have worn similar styles of Asics before and been pleased. I wear a regular B width, but I do have bad bunions. I typically go up half a size to a full size over my street shoe to accommodate socks when I run. Unfortunately, either my forefoot has gotten wider or this shoe has a narrower toebox than some of the others I have worn, but I instantly realized it was too narrow for me through the toebox.

Comfortable, great support and cushion, and not too flashy. From day 1 these shoes have been comfortable. Love them!

So thankful to find these. I have been trying to find a replacement to my beloved Asics 2170 and also the gel Nimbus 15 which I loved as well. I ordered 4 pair of Asics from Zappos: these, Gel Elevate 3, Gel Sendai 2 and the 33M. I have arthritis in my big toes and need sneakers that give enough toe box room for the inflammation and also have enough cushion. These were the best of all 4 pair and thankfully they were also the least expensive!! :) I felt they had the most cushion of all. I wear a 8.5 dress shoe and 9 in sneaker and the 9 wide in these was perfect for me. I am thrilled to find these and also happy with the gray/mint green color.

This is my second pair of this style so, YES, I like them very much. The mesh allows my feet to breathe. There is plenty of room to add orthotics. Just an all-around comfortable shoe.

I felt this shoe ran a little shorter and will order it in a half size larger. Also, width will be a little more comfortable in the new size.

Another 5 star review coming at you. Yes these shoes are exactly as described by prior reviewers. They fit like they were made for me with plenty of support. the green mint stripe however, took me about 2 days to adjust, accept, etc. Super comfy for us overpronators.

As a person with terrible feet -- flat from fallen arches, bunions, ankles that turn inward, I highly recommend these sneakers. There is a gel in the sole that cushions my every step. The upper part of the sneaker has a give to it so that it does not make my bunions hurt. These sneakers are great for my overpronation and are the best sneakers I ever wore.

Love this shoe. Great comfort right out of the box! I wear orthotics and this shoe accommodated them very well. Some shoe colors are really Bold. I liked it had a touch of color but they don't jump out at you. All that aside, it is a very comfortable shoe and great support well worth the money. Zappos is wonderful.

Love these shoes! First pair of sneakers for spring and I had forgotten how wonderful it is to wear a comfortable, substantial sneaker. This is my first pair of Asics, usually wear New Balance. Highly recommend!

Super comfortable. Squishy sole, but supportive. The top is breathable, but also supportive. Excellent comfortable shoes. I bought about 12 pairs of Asics/New Balance and these won as the keepers. I do not like the color combination, but my feet feel fantastic.

Fit was great. I ordered the wider version too, just in case, but didn't need it. Support is great and, with the wide sole, provided great stabilization. This was recommended by my Physical Therapist and they've been great! Glad I could find them in a "normal" color on Zappos!

This is a very good shoe for walking and working out. Good support and very comfortable. My last pair did not hold up all that well but I thought I would try Asics again and see how this one does. I am an active, heavy woman with bad feet, so great support is very important!

Great shoes. They are exactly as described. Excellent fit and very comfortable. I will buy another pair!!! So much easier than driving to the store.

I have flat feet and that really makes my ankles hurt on the outside. I do not have to wear my orthotics with these shoes. I love them!

I needed a walking shoe with good arch support. These fit the bill. I usually wear a 7.5 and sometimes an 8. I ordered these in an 8 and they fit perfectly.

I am having real problems with Plantar fasciitis, and this sneaker is probably the most comfortable for me right now. Were it not for this issue, I think I would be in heaven in this shoe. And I have to say that Zappos has been great, as I thought I wore an 11 and so we went back and forth, but the return process was so easy! Not sure if this is a sizing issue with ASICS, as I had to get a 12 in my last Brooks as well - Whose feet grow a size at age 63?

I wanted to love this shoe, especially after reading the reviews but it was too narrow through the center of my foot even though I ordered a wide - which normally fit me. Everything else was great and I could feel the wonderful cushioning the other reviews mentioned. A little wider through the center and I would have kept them and given 5 stars.
