First of all, I ended up returning these. I was super excited to find these: they have a very basic look about them, and usually I find New Balance quite comfortable. Upon trying the shoes on, my toes immediately hit the end of the shoe. I considered returning for a larger size, but I wasn't thrilled about the way they laced up. Bottom line: Maybe you'll like them more than I did, but definitely consider at least ordering a half size if not a full size larger than you ordinarily wear.

I returned the New Balance Classics 515 sneakers, 4E width. I’ve been wearing New Balance sneakers for decades. The 515s are a great looking shoe but these sneakers say 4E on the underside of the tongue and wide on the lace tag, I tried them on and at best they are a D width. I’m positive they are not 4E. Photos of my current New Balance 1123 4E and New Balance 623 4E sneakers. As you might see the attached photos, the New Balance, blue, 515 sneakers are narrower than both of my current New Balance models.

This is a nice casual and lightweight shoe. Not a heavy boot with a big rollbar style arch support, not a sturdy trail shoe, nor an elite running shoe with that oozes speed and bounce. I wear orthodic inserts in my walking shoes, and I had a pair of NB 577 that were worn out. These new shoes , after loading the inserts, feel fine

The fit was great! I use orthotics and knowing that I did not care that the arch support was Moderate. Actually, that was probably better since my orthotics have a ridiculous amount of arch support for my abnormally high arches. These shoes are perfect for what I need. The first time I could run comfortably for a long time.

The shoe Itself was as advertised, except the highest lace hole doesn’t go all the way through (no hole on inside, 2nd photo) so I can’t tie them up as tight as I would like.

I own a pair of the New Balance 574's, and this shoe was nothing like that. Although it looks great, it had a very hard footbed, a thin insole and very poor arch support. Within seconds of wearing them my feet started to hurt. I'm amazed that New Balance would put out a shoe this poorly made and with such terrible insoles and cushioning.

I've always loved NB for their Xtra WWWWfit. Other than that I love how the shoe feels. I walk a lot.

Took a couple days to wear in. I thought they may be too small at first, but they felt fantastic after a couple days. Would recommend for larger people (I’m 6’7” 240lbs) due to the superior padding and support. Very pleased and will order more colors variations.

I bought these for my son who has flat feet and no arch support. The New Balances are great for him. He never complains about these sneakers. They provide excellent support for him.

I purchased these for my 12 yo grandson. His review: "I like them a lot. They are super comfy, good looking, easy to keep clean and fit great."

The fit and size is honestly perfect. This is the best my narrow size 16 feet have felt in a sneaker in ages. They are comfortable even though there is hardly any arch support. I wore them out on the town today and got several compliments on them. I was also asked where they could be bought. I said Zappos.com. I love the overall look, the feel, I feel more stylish wearing them then say a Nike or Asics shoe. They are pretty light weight but still feel supportive. I would highly recommend you buy these. I am actually buying several more pairs of this style in different colors.
