Purchased the Silver/Grey Quartz Madison small leather bag & absolutely love it! Thought it was too big at first but I'm getting used to it. Matches with everything - can be worn with casual or dress! Good quality leather & very stylish. Love!

Love this Coach bag! I'm a petite gal -- 5'4" about 100 lbs., so bags can overwhelm my small frame, but not this one. The slender straps stay on my shoulder, even wearing a down coat. I purchased the grey quartz color in the fall. It is slightly darker than what appears on screen, but a very versatile shade of grey. It holds a lot of items, especially now that it's winter. I wear and Ugg sheepskin hat, and it folds up nicely and fits in one of the snap sections. If a lady out there had the previous Coach Maggie bags, they might like this Phoebe as well it not better! Might come back and get the scarlet color, since it's on sale.

I got this from Macy's on sale back in December. I looked on Zappos yesterday and saw it was a great price and I immediately returned it to Macys and got a refund and then purchased it for cheaper at Zappos! What a GREAT buy! The is NOT a small purse. It is more medium to large and it is perfect! I have searched high and low for a chocolate handbag and when I found this one, I had to get it!! And at this price it was a STEAL!

I love this bag! Bought it in two colors but found that the grey one sometimes seems to have a purple overcast. Little disappointed about that but everything else is perfect. Saw this bag being carried on Chicago Fire in the larger size. The smaller size will totally surprise you with the space. Good, comfortable, smart looking bag.

I received this handbag today, and I love it. Looks just like the picture. The snap is secure, and the handbag is made of high quality leather (leather smells good). I am so thankful that it arrived a day early because the winds have picked up this evening; I would not have wanted it to blow off my porch. I love the pockets, the size, the color, and the lining--a very high quality product. Thanks Zappos for selling an excellent Coach handbag.

This is my favorite Coach purse I've ever owned. I purchased both the black/silver and the chestnut. I wear a lot of black and dark colors for business so a black purse has always been my go-to color, and I'm not a fan of gold hardware. The black/silver is really nice but surprisingly the chestnut is my new choice. What a beautiful color! It's a striking purse, very high quality leather, and surprisingly goes with everything I wear. Functionally it's perfect - a couple of roomy compartments for items to grab quickly such as gloves in the winter! And the zipper compartment in between for more secure storage. The purse holds a lot but still looks sophisticated and not overly large. I was worried about the strap length and whether the purse would stay on my shoulder but no issues whether wearing a thin top or a winter coat. This is a thoughtful design and a beautiful looking purse!

She loved it! My wife likes her purse to have a magnetic catch which this does. The two sides to not connect so she can get organized and the center zipper compartment is great for stuff she needs to keep extra safe or doesn't use too often.

Actually my mom and me have already bought three Madison Small Phoebe bags. The red one was the last one and it is my favourite. The quality of the leather is terrific, the bag is very comfortable with 3 separate sections. We totally enjoy it!

The Phoebe is such a beautiful bag in any color. I'm 5'3" and have both the larger size in plume and the smaller in black violet. I love them both equally as they hold so much without feeling bulky. The thin straps are both very comfortable on the shoulder and don't slip. I can easily slip this bag on my shoulder with a bulky coat on as well. I do agree with another review that the middle compartment is a little difficult to zip, but i I don't consider this a design flaw. The polished leather is lightly pebbled and so soft and buttery to the touch. I will be putting the gray color on my wish list.

Beautiful classic purse. The leather is buttery and the style is nice. Not too big but holds everything. Easy access to your stuff. The zipper part is nice to secure wallet etc but when your using your wallet all the time can be inconvenient unzipping so only will put wallet in zipper when traveling or not going to use it multi times. Lining is good quality and the whole purse is good quality. Very pleased even though the price was high well worth it. The price you pay for plastic is far higher in the long run. This purse will pass the test of time. Plus is comfortable on your shoulder and how it fits under your arm.

This is my all time favorite purse! I had been looking for just the right shade of purple for this fall when I found this purse in Black Violet. The leather is amazing, soft and buttery. I love the thin straps on my small shoulders as they don't dig in at all or slide off which is almost always an issue for me. I love the middle zipper compartment for my actual wallet and each side slot for my wristlet on one side, makeup pouch on the other. Plus an extra zippered pocket in one of the compartments, that's always a must for me. I love the gold Coach emblem on the side and the stunning gold hard wear. One tiny complaint: no feet on the bottom of the purse which to me is just a nice finishing touch. By no means a deal breaker, just a personal preference. Frankly for the price you're not going to find a more beautiful yet completely functional purse. Great quality just like all of the other Coach purses/wallets/wristlets I've purchased. Hopefully they'll keep this style into next spring but with new colors.

This bag is beautiful. The leather is soft and the chestnut color is rich. The pockets are perfect for all my needs. This is a large bag, but not heavy for its size.

You sent it and I got it! Immediately experienced buyer's remorse after placing order, and planned to return it upon receipt. Change in plans. This bag is beautiful! Smells good, too! Therefore, it's a keeper. The chestnut color pairs well when paired with black, navy, gray, olive. I'll stop here. Very classy style.

Ms Phoebe is so addictive! I own this beauty in the midnight oak & black violet. I got her on sale at Macy's. She is the perfect everyday bag. She's called small, but there is nothing small about her. The leather is unbelievable...pebbly & soft. She stays on the shoulder...looks gorgeous on the shoulder/next to the body. She stands beautifully, & holds her shape. It's such a lovely silhouette. I'm waiting on the scarlet & cranberry to arrive one day this week. Coach knocked this one out of the park...Ms Phoebe is fabulous!

I absolutely love the bag until I get to the lining. I have been waiting for this bag in black, bought it, and don't know that I can deal with a black lining. Come on no one likes a dark lining, can't see what's in there. I love the bag, it's perfect if they would lighten the lining.

Overall this is a beautiful bag. I think I just have the wrong shaped items for this bag. I usually have my wallet and sunglasses case in my purse along with a change pouch. I just could not get it organized correctly so that the bottom was not bulging. I wanted this one to work!

Interesting color-- sometimes it looks more gray, sometimes a little more taupe… it reminds me of my grandmothers purse in terms of color. Great style, it makes it easy to stay organized. Exchanging for a "younger" tan color.

I love almost everything about this bag. However, the strap drop isn't as long as described here. The strap drop is described here as 11". When I received the bag, I tested it as a shoulder bag and the drop is just way too short. I've checked the Coach website and they show the drop as 9 3/4" for the small Phoebe and 11" for the large. I know 1 1/4" isn't much but it makes a difference when trying to carry this as a shoulder bag. I love everything else about this bag. May have to go to a Coach store and test a large version of the bag.

This is a perfect bag if you're looking for a stylish bag that's a bit casual; it has a less unstructured, more slouchy style than some of the other Coach bags. The leather is very soft, like "buttah." I like that I can keep my wallet safely zipped in the middle section while having easy access to keys, sunglasses etc. in the other sections. The straps fit on my shoulders, but with a heavy coat the fit might be a tad tight. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the color, Silver/grey Quartz. I expected more of a neutral color, but found that in some lights the bag looks almost lavender/purple. It limits what I can wear it with.

This is a great basic purse for every day. Quality of leather and construction is really nice. There are three compartments, the front and back pockets are separated by a center pocket which zips closed. The straps are thin, which makes them secure on the shoulders. They are comfortably long enough to go over the shoulders, but not with a lot of extra length. My one complaint is that the slip pockets are not quite deep enough, so things could slip out, especially since the main compartments don't close. As long as the magnetic closure is fastened, this is not an issue. Overall, very happy with the purchase!

This bag is made of great quality leather and the design is flattering even to a small (5'3'') frame as it fits close to the body when on the shoulder. That being said, I am disappointed in the length of the handles. It is hard to get bag on shoulders over a coat as they are not long enough. And the color and quality of the hardware is disappointing. The shiny gold tone medal looks cheap. Thus only 4 stars.

I totally agree with the Zappos customer from Bellevue, WA. Great color (cranberry). Great leather. Great organization. Also, perfect color punch bag for Fall 2013, especially if you're in a conservative profession like me and wear a lot of black, navy & greys. The bag's only question mark: What was Coach thinking having shiny gold hardware?! (That gives away that it's made in China - yuk!). I mean, really. Coach, you couldn't have spent a few more cents to have matte gold hardware?! A sure disappointment, but I'm still keeping it.

I wanted to love this Coach bag. I have bought and loved Coach Products for decades and have always been impressed with the style, functionality, quality and durability. I admit that their newer designs haven't been my favorite, but I did my due diligence before I placed this order. What I like: beautiful leather and nice styling when zipped and snapped. What I dislike: the handbag, when unsnapped, is super wide (16 inches) this has to be opened to get to the zippered pouch where your "valuables are stored". I find myself constantly struggling with this while shopping. Just not functional for my needs! I purchased this from Zappos, got super fast next day shipping and received my package just in time for a recent trip out of town. Wish that I had returned it instead.

Beware, this bag has two separate sections and looks rather...weird...when you open it up. Plan to interview it in person before committing!
