This purse is great! It is exactly as it appears in the picture, and the price was a lot less than any other I found. Delivery was right on time, so I'm very happy with the whole experience.

My sister bought this bag in the tan color. I was so amazed with it's sleekness and width. I also liked the way the zipper is all the way down the sides. It is compact and has a slot on the top by the handles that stores my cell phone nicely! Yes, I had to have this purse! So I bought the brown one with silver hardware...I also like simple way it looks...no buckles or bows, just very professional!

What a great bag! It is a little more purple than the picture looks, but still a great color. It is sized just right to hold everything without being big and bulky. I am not a huge purse sort of person, so this fit the bill exactly. This is typically more than I spend on a purse, but it is well worth the money. The leather is very soft but doesn't feel fragile. So far after a couple of weeks of just kind of throwing it into the passenger seat of my car, no scratches yet. I can't wait to get it in another color.

I have always carried large handbags and my back and shoulders payed the price so I decided to go smaller. What a nice surprise with the Fossil Sydney satchel! I can carry all of my necessities and still fit more. I absolutely love the must have cobalt blue color too.

The Fossil Sydney Satchel is absolutely darling. I received it as a gift and I couldn't be more pleased. The color (a rich brown with silver hardware), size, and carrying options have all exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone looking to add a satchel to their purse collection.

This is a beautiful bag, really impressed with the quality and feel for the price. It is a great size - so many times satchels are huge and this is just a great medium size. I can be snobby about bags so I was pleasantly surprised with this and liked much more than I expected to. As always, Zappos service rocks.

I've been searching for this bag for a while. I saw it in stores and I had to have it. But I waited for it to go on sale at a local store before purchasing it. I got it in a colour that isn't my absolute favorite, but even then, it's still very stylish and I get many compliments. I had gotten it in the green colour. The craftsmanship is very nice. I have no problems with it at all. It's a very sturdy bag that will last me a long time. I like how the bag is flexible, yet keeps it's shape well, so one doesn't have to stuff it to get the "boston bag" kind of look that I really enjoy. I like how it can be both an over the shoulder bag, and a handbag. The inside is nice and super spacious, has a medium amount of pockets, and even a nice little clip on the inside for hooking things to. Like if you have keys, or one of those stretchy retractable badge or lighter clips. It's not the best, but it's a nice perk for a simple looking purse. I highly recommend it now that it has even more colors to choose from. The only thing I would change about it is the colour. (I prefer the blue one or the pink one, personally.) Also, the textures change when you go to different styles of the bag, like the patterns or if you happen to see the shiny leather ones. (usually a gold/silver color) So be aware of that when ordering if you haven't seen it in person, yet. Overall, good purse. Fossil is always a favorite of mine.

I love the look of this bag, but I did not realize it was so big. The bottom measurement in the description was 4 inches, but the sides of the bag bulge out another four inches, making the bag much too big for me. It's also a bit hard to get into without opening the zipper quite a bit down the sides.

I was looking for a bag that was brown. This one is kind of a rich brown reminding me of chestnut color. I like the bag but some things look cheap like the embossed Fossil logo in silver, and the zipper is really rough to open and close: it does not glide easily. I'm not sure it's worth the price.

This bag is obviously meant to resemble a Coach bag: the hardware, small gold logo print and color (similar to "Love Red"). Unfortunately, there is not a lot of subdivision and organization - basically one large cavity. Too bad!

I purchased the Fossil Sydney Satchel and will be returning it. I normally love Fossil because the leather is so soft but this purse was an exception. I ordered the Teal but it was more like bright green. The leather on the side was very different from the front. If this was a cheaper bag then I wouldn't mind but since it was over my budget, it will be going back.

I bought the Fossil tan Sydney Satchel in April 2014. The bag was very cute & fitted exactly what I needed in terms of storage. I had high expectations for this bag as I had often admired the bags many times & thought these were well made sturdy bags with quality. Having used this for only 10 months, the handles started fraying as well as the little tassel attached to the zipper. I'm actually very disappointed with the Fossil quality considering that the price tag of the bag isn't exactly cheap. The color of the leather is also wearing down in certain areas of the bag which is expected for leather after a lengthy period of time but this happened a lot faster than I expected in such short duration of use compared to other handbags I have had in the past. I am definitely returning this. The Fossil staff offer great service in QVB store (Sydney) but I don't think I will buy Fossil again if I had the choice. Highly disappointed with this brand as this is the second attempt from another Fossil handbag purchase with the same issue.
