If your looking for a lightweight non-steal safety toe work boot that's very comfortable.....look no further. I am picky guy when it comes to buying boots, & I must say that these beat any others I've bought & worn. They look good, feel good, have zero metal(won't set off a metal detector), triple stitched, plus way more. I wear custom made insoles, so the removable factory insoles were convenient for me. I'm planning on purchasing another pair or 2 just to keep in case they ever discontinue(like my previous brand model). Also, these boot are made rite here in the good old USA! These are true to size, so order your actual size. Peace!!!

These boots frickin' rule. I'm a mechanic, and I stand on hard concrete floors for 10-12 hours a day. The insole is soft and supportive like a running shoe, the composite safety toe keeps the weight down, and the lace hooks at the ankle make them easier to put on/remove. Plenty of room in the toe box, and the leather upper is flexible enough to accommodate both a summer sock or thick winter sock. All in all, a great work boot! Thanks Zappos!

Last year the company I work for forced us to buy steel toes/composite toed shoes. I tried them all! I sent back like 10 pairs to Zappos that I did not like. These from Zappos, and a pair of Timberland cheaper ones I bought locally are the only ones I like. My Doc Martins never did break in. They were too heavy. Now this year I need another pair and I bought these since I bought the black ones last years. I guess if you are buying the same pair again this year it says a lot for the shoes. Also, these are the only work boots that I own that I did not need insoles for. That saves some money. These are comfortable, great soles on hard concrete, bullet proof toes, cooler (less sweaty) than my other shoes, look great. The only thing is that they might be a bit overkill for factory desk jockeys like me, but I still love them. The size is right on for my wide size 10 flat feet. I bought 10W, and sometimes I wear 10½ tennis shoes. But, I would not buy these bigger than needed just because they are steel toes. Buy your size. I hope this helps. They take a week or three to break in, but if you skip the top angle eyelet (third one down) they feel great!

These boots are awesome, very tough like they should be very heavy but super light and comfortable. I barely had to break them in.

I work outside almost 10 hours a day up in the arctic and these are very comfortable boots. Good ankle support and great padding on the bottom, no need for any extra insoles. I would only hope they make casual low cut shoes more available.

I'm in the building trade do a lot of climbing up ladders, walking a lot during a day average 13,000 steps a day. I took a week to break in and now they feel great.

Boots are great but Zappos is the BEST. Best customer service on the whole wide web. Hands down. Keep up the great work

The fit was meh

Boots fell apart after 4 months or normal wear. Complete wast of money.

Absolutely wonderful boots, felt great from the moment I put them on. Lasted about a year and a half until part of the back split open. Just on one boot though.

Love the boots but I've only had them a week and one of the hooks for the laces already broke

Fit is good. Didn't really need to break them in at all. Changed out the insoles though

The fit was true to size & width. No issues wearing them all day right out of the box.

Fits good and have lasted well this past year. Only issue I had was the laces broke after a while but aside from that no issues. Good fit right out of the box!

It’s been a year since my last review on these boots and I love them. Everything I was hoping for came true. I’m on my feet all day and do a lot of walking around my site. These boots made the difference. So I bought them again for the 2nd time and I will review them again in a year.

Very comfortable even with my fallen arches.

fit perfect with toe room

I wear a 12.5 in sneakers, I choose a 12 and they still were a little too roomy. Great quality boot though.

I love these boots, even though I have to wear boots for work I don't like wearing boot very much and I love wearing these boots. They fit perfectly and never gave me a problem breaking them in. Plus they look amazing and my feet aren't soaked at the end of the day. I did add extra gel inserts just to give them that little extra touch, honestly I do that with every boot I buy. I will give and other review next season to see how they hold up!!
