YOU MUST BUY THESE JEANS - THEY ARE AMAZING!!! I don't know if this is allowed but I am writing a review before I even have my order because I already have these exact same jeans but in a lighter color wash and I LOVE them SOOOO MUCH that since I've gotten them I don't ever even CONSIDER wearing the other 40-50 pairs(yes, I am a denim-aholic) of jeans in my closet. Not only that, but I usually don't love skinnies ... I have always worn boot cut/subtle flares with a low rise - I am petite but still curvy and those are the style that has always made me look more long and lean. I had a really hard time embracing the skinny jeans trend when it came on the scene several years back because even though I was very thin then (I was a double zero or a zero and a size 23 in jeans - I am 5'4" and I was not "skinny" in an emaciated "skin & bones" way - I was just very petite & toned but with curves ... I always had a large chest and a round butt with a small waist and flat tummy and my frame/bone structure was very small, hence the low weight while still being curvy and not looking "skinny." Regardless of looking great in a bikini at the time, I felt like skinny jeans visually added 20 pounds and made me look pear shaped! They just were NOT flattering, regardless of the size, brand or wash. Nonetheless, as we females sometimes tend to do, I did end up with a few pair anyway, but I would only wear them in a certain way - I would NEVER wear them with a short shirt - usually with a tunic type of top or something that covered my bum and I tended to wear them with boots bc I felt like they balanced the look (just like a flare or boot cut would have, I supposed - what a cheater I was!! LOL). However, that is totally NOT the case with these jeans ... I wear them with ANY kind or length of top AND with any kind of shoe - cute sandals, flats, sexy heels and of course boots ... but not for the balance, rather just because they are easy to pull the boots up and over. Size down, for sure, if you want them to be nice & fitted (and you do, trust me!). I have always been very small - 5'4" and 105ish most of my life, but a recent auto accident plus a thyroid problem almost at the same time, made me put on some extra pounds pretty quickly and none of my old clothes fit so I took a chance on buying these (in the lighter wash bc I didn't see this dark one at the time) and I was delighted when I put them on! I'm now 125lbs, but regardless of being 105 or 125, I've always had a round booty and needed jeans to flatter - these do it! As I said, I used to wear a size 23 and when I tried on the 25s I was so excited that they fit with these 20 extra pounds, especially when most other 25's are extremely snug now, if I can even get them past my thighs at all ;). Call it "vanity sizing" if you want, but wearing a smaller size tends to also do something good for your spirits ;) I hope to lose some of the weight I've gained but I don't want to lose out on having these jeans when I do, so I am ordering them in the size 24 NOW so I don't have to be without them! I am also going to get another pair in 25 for until I lose the weight, since mine have a light wash and almost every time that I put them on, I think "I wish that these came in a dark wash." Now my light wash can be for more casual outfits and the dark will be dressed up. I am SO EXCITED to have found these!!! They really are so flattering AND comfortable!! I know that denim/jeans are portrayed as being comfy clothes to "live in," but that isn't my usual experience with them ... most of my flattering jeans are NOT super comfy ... UNTIL NOW!!!! When I get home, usually my bra, jewelry and shoes come off right away, and if I'm wearing something that isn't comfy enough to lounge around in or do bills in, cook or clean up the house, etc. then whatever I have on comes off to and I swap on a tank or tee and a pair of yoga. pj or lounge pants ... I've noticed that every time that I've worn this pair/style and I get home, everything else comes off, per usual ... but I don't change the jeans because they feel good enough that I'm not aching to put on leggings on PJ pants when I get home from work. They LOOK great - flattering and probably the only skinnies on earth that make you look lean with a great bum and no muffin top that are ALSO super COMFORTABLE!!! As a note, on me (5'4") they are NOT as short as on the model ... they come down a bit farther on the ankle and have a slight bit of bunching there, but it's hardly noticeable and I actually like the way it looks. Also, another important thing to mention - I have washed and dried (in the dryer on regular heat!) these at least a half a dozen times by now and they have NOT shrunk at all. They may feel a bit snug for a few minutes after they first come out of the dryer but then they loosen up again to fit your body perfectly. Do yourself a favor and buy-buy-buy!!! Get 2 pairs because I guarantee you'll wear your first pair out. And remember, size down - at least 1 size, maybe 2 depending on how tight you want them. Enjoy ...

I LOVE these jeans! I have muscular thighs and have a hard time finding jeans that fit in the waist and the thighs but these are perfect. They do stretch out a bit so I kind of wish I had sized down to a 26 but they're still great. For reference, I am 5'5" and 130 and ordered a size 27.

I love these jeans very comfortable and flattering. However, I'm not sure if any other reviewer mentioned this but they don't flare at the hem as they appear to on the model. They are a looser fit (through the leg) skinny jean. I don't think they are tight enough to look good tucked in with tall boots so I have been wearing them with my flats. I am normally a 26 in almost every jean (True Rel., Paige, etc..) but I take a 25 in AG, especially since these have a good amount of stretch. Really happy with these! :)

I loved the jean - it has a high content of Lyocell (rayon, a quasi-natural fiber/yarn) of 26% which makes the drape and comfort very nice, but I know will stretch out too much during a days wearing (they were not tight around my front hips). I work in the textile industry, so I should have paid attention to to fabric content! When I read the reviews, most said that they went up a size, but honestly, you should select your usual size and they will be perfect (and comfortable). Unfortunately, Zappos is sold out of my exchange size:( But I would rate 5 stars.

These jeans are form fitting and make me look so skinny! I am almost tempted to buy in the next size down as I am trying to lose weight. These are so worth the price!

I own a lot of premium denim and these are far and away the softest and most comfortable... however, they also stretched out more than any other. I usually test the fit of my jeans by putting my thumbs in the waistband and trying to pull the waistband out. The right 'fit' is when my thumbs fit comfortably, but I can't stretch the waistband. These jeans fit wonderfully when they arrived and after one wear were huge. I needed to have the length tailored anyway, so I also got them taken in. If it weren't for the stretch, these would be the perfect pants.

I bought these in the "8 year" wash and they fit great! Ordered these in the "Free" wash and they are 2 inches longer than marked (32" but marked 30"), and they are too loose in the waist...Bummer! Great wash, but sizing off for me: 5' 3" and 112 lb.

This is my second pair. Perfect fit. Perfect style. love them!

So far, I love these jeans. They're really comfortable. They are a bit long for me at 5'3'' I've been wearing them but will probably have the hem taken up slightly.

I love AG jeans and own a number of pairs. Overall, these jeans are well-made with a very comfortable material, the dark color is great, they look great on and fit true to size (I'm 5'4" and ~118/120 lbs.; normally I wear a size 26 with a 28-30" inseam depending on brand). I was really hopeful that the Stilts would work for me but the 30" inseam for these AGs is just a bit too long on me.

i love AG jeans and typically fit a 26 perfectly. Unfortunately being 5'3" I have a hard time getting the perfect length that doesn't require a hem. The inseam on these seemed longer than normal.

This is the only jean I wear now in addition to AG's cords. I'm 5'6 with hips and they just fit so well and have a bit of stretch. I'm hooked on them. I bought a pair in 2011 and that's all I've worn since then. I couldn't recommend them more.

I guessed the wrong size for a Gift and was so pleased that the exchange was so easy and fast. My daughter is pleased with the jeans. I rate Zappos high for these reasons.

These jeans are extremely flattering while also being comfortable. I love the dark blue color, and I love that the jeans stay at my waist all day even without a belt. I will be back for more colors!

I have been looking for a new pair of skinny jeans for months now. I had about given up hope trying to accomplish this online and then these wonderful jeans arrived! They fit like they were made for me! I am 5'5", 133, with an athletic build. I purchased size 27. Finally skinny jeans that weren't too tight in the thighs! Very comfortable too! These have made me super happy!

Excellent jeans. True to size, soft, comfy. I did think the 30" inseam will be shorter than it actually is. It seems more like a 32" inseam.

LOVE these jeans! I am 5"7" 130 ish and the the 28 seems just perfect in these and not too low rise, the length is perfect and they even roll up so you don't need capris/shorter ones these do both pair with a sweater or a jacket and heels .and they are light and don't stretch too much have a sexy look and fit to them. Survived humidity today in them and other jeans with spandex make me too hot these were ideal traveling with these and would get more .good dark color. LOVE!

Amazing jeans by AG. Love the dark wash and the cotton/lyocell/pu blend is my favorite blend of denim fabric. Comfortable right away but have not stretched out too much. This is my first Stilt. I have the Stevie sold at Anthropologie and the cut is identical to the Stilt. This wash (Free) runs about a half size bigger than my Stevie's. I read reviews and ordered accordingly. If you are trying to decide between sizes, size down one size.

Can't say enough good things about these jeans. I'm short (5'2") and though I'll hem them a bit, they are incredibly comfortable and flattering and make my legs look both slimmer and longer. A much better look than just regular skinnies for all the shorter, curvier women out there. Great butt jeans, too, thanks to the pockets!

Love these jeans! I'm a big fan of AG in general and last year bought a pair of Stevie skinnies in size 28. They fit very well and I wore them out. These I ordered in a 27 after reading a review from someone who was 5'3" and 120lbs (if memory serves). I'm 5'4" and 105lbs and I don't like anything too tight. These are perfect. Very dark.

Great jeans - I had them shortened a little bit so they're ankle length for me (I'm 5'2"). So comfortable. Great not-too-skinny jean.

I rarely buy jeans on line without trying them on, but took a risk with Zappos' fast delivery and returns. These are the best jeans ever- super comfy, stylish, fit well, good color and quality. I love them. The length is perfect for me- I'm 5'3". If you are between waist sizes, go with the smaller size, they are thin and stretchy so run a bit big.
