I bought two pairs of these for my son. One pair was truly a 30" inseam and one pair was about 28". Otherwise, we love them!

Comfortable stretch jeans. Moonlight worn. Great for nightlife style jeans. Love Zappos's return policy along with quick delivery timing (1-2 business days).

the material makes these like a hybrid between jeans and yoga pants...fits snug and stretches as much as needed... but you really cant consider them jeans, can you?

Good slim straight jeans. The top block is on the tighter side, which makes for a nice slim look. However, these pants have stretch, which makes them comfortable regardless. The fabric is heavier, it feels like a 12-14oz type of denim. Leg opening is not very tapered, so the pants look nice with boots. I wish the color was a more mild version of what it is, but it's good now too.

These run a bit large in the waist so returning them. Nice fit otherwise and comfortable stretch to the denim.

First off, I would disagree with other reviewers about going a size down. I've got a pair of these in Bastion that fit me at my usual size and a pair in Blue Nirvana I just got in the mail that feel like I need a size up, not down. As usual with Levi's, different washes fit larger or smaller. 513 is a great overall cut for normal sized guys who want to look current but aren't about to go super skinny. Ever.

So many colors so many fits! Let me start by saying that these jean are slim, but not skinny. I am 5'9" and 170 pounds. I am not a waif and these pants work well for my frame. It is important to note that within each color the fits can vary. Meaning you might be a 32 in one color and 30 in another. This is not an issue because Zappos rocks and making returns to get the right pair is easy.

I bought the Levi's Men's 513 slim straight for my 13 year old son. These are nice quality but the fit was a bit too narrow/skinny-jean like. I had read in the reviews to size down so I went one inch slimmer in the waist. They fit, but the overall fit was tighter (through the legs) than desired. My son is very slim but the fit is just too narrow. We prefer the Levi's Men's 514 Straight/Slim, which is still tailored but a better overall fit.

I quit smoking over a year ago and suddenly needed larger waist. And for the last 15 plus years I have cursed whoever decided to market "relaxed fit" jeans. These solve both problems. Everyone has gone to lighter cloth and these are a bit lighter than Levi's or Lees of the 60's and 70's. But, they are not at all baggy, heavy enough and they are comfortable. Finally, jeans that are not "Dad jeans!" I am 69 but not ready for those kinds of jeans. The waist size is only in limited colors and they are not heavily stocked, so it takes work on the net to find them. Zappos was excellent as usual.

Overall I like these jeans. I am a slim guy with a big butt. My butt does not feel too tight in these but the waist is small despite usually fitting into a 34 width. I like that they aren't baggy. However, I wish the waist was true to size. Durable and good price.

Fitc a little odd out of the box but I ran them through the wash and they fit pretty much perfectly now. The 2% elastane material has quite a bit of stretch to it and feels like these jeans won't look to stretched out even after wearing for days.

I ordered a 32*30 Bastion. The color in the photo is pretty accurate and the fit is just as the other reviewers have mentioned. It does have considerable stretch, but not as much as the 513 in 'cash' color (which has 2% elastine). I would like to keep the jeans but probably am going to return it because the length is just too long. I've laid it on top of my other 513s and for some reason, the inseam measures a solid 1.5 inches longer than my other 513s in the same size. Otherwise a pretty solid pair of jeans

The color is as seen on the Zappos page, medium dark blue with visible texture. The fabric is slightly lighter weight than typical Levi jeans. The length was about an inch longer than typical for a Levi 33X30.

513's In general I love. The Jet is very stiff no give like the other colors. I'm not sure if they stretch at all in the waist, zipper or rear areas like the other colors do. I've washed and worn them a couple time but doesn't feel any better. Wondering if I should return them?

Decent jeans, but like almost all clothes these days very thing material and sloppy construction.

Purchased a pair of Levi 513s last year for my husband and he loves them. So I purchased another pair this year and they fit way differently. They are much slimmer in the leg, especially the lower leg. We returned them for the 505 style. These fit Great.

These run bigger in comparison to other Levi's products. I often purchase the 505 style jeans, and for the same inseam number, these 513 style were significantly longer.

The ad says these are made with 2% elastine. When I got mine they were 100% cotton with no give.

I think labeling these as slim can be a little misleading as it seems the fit on these is closer to dad-jean than trendy--which is ok if you're not worried about that sort of thing. They are super comfy, but I think the material varies with the wash and these are definitely not as durable as other Levi's I've had in the past (I think I bought the Bastions).

Don't confuse these with traditional denim jeans. These 513s are more like black khakis. They have no heft...the material is very thin.

Roomier than I expected a "slim" cut to be, not a fan of the stretch material everywhere these days.

Unfortunately, Levis has taken a great fitting jean and made it terribly uncomfortable especially in warmer climates by adding polyester/spandex blends which can irritate the skin. Wearing these jeans for long periods of time in any season other than winter can be an unpleasant experience. I understand this is the new designer fad, mostly thanks to skinny jeans and the spandex look, but for most adults that do not wish to look like ballerinas, 100% cotton will do fine. The style of the 513's is perfect, just make more of them in 100% cotton, not just Quincy. And bring back Tumble Rigid!
