These jeans TOTALLY ROCK! Very slimming, SUPER comfortable. I am dancing around with joy! I cannot even begin to tell you how many jeans I have tried on over the years in a desperate search for a pair that didn't give me an instant body-image crisis! (You KNOW what I am talking about, ladies) Up-to-date, but not that super skinny style that looks good on no one but a scrawny teenager. You can actually have thighs larger than a toothpick and get into these no problem. A jean that fits my "J-Lo derriere" and isn't HUGE in the waist. This is almost a miracle, as most pants/jeans on me gap badly in the waist. If you have an hourglass figure (no matter how ample) this is the jean for you. They are also the perfect length (33" inseam) for a tall woman (I'm 5'9") like myself who doesn't intend to wear high heels. IMPORTANT NOTE: SIZE DOWN ONE SIZE IF YOU WANT THESE JEANS TO GIVE THE MAXIMUM SLIMMING EFFECT!!! I didn't do it, and ended up having to return my size 12 for a size 10. (And I am a "strong" size 12--not even close to a size 10 in any other jeans/pants, so you can take that to the bank). The size 12's fit okay--no gapping, although definitely loose, but didn't make me look as "hot" (according to hubby) as the 10's. At age 54, I am thrilled to find jeans that don't look age-inappropriate but DO elicit that sort of response from my guy!

I'm 5'7", about 170 lbs. I purchased a size 8 (going down a size as many suggested) and they fit very well. I have more of an apple shape - my waist is almost the same size as my hips/bottom. I will say, these are a bit difficult to pull up past my butt and hips so if you have more junk in the trunk, you may not be able to get them past your hips or may need to go up a size. After one wash and dry, these are the perfect length for me. I can wear them with a heel or without. I highly recommend these jeans for mamas with a pooch - very flattering and very comfortable!

I like these jeans a lot. They are a very dark navy blue. They do not look like blue jeans, a bit more dressy because of the color. SueI like the waist for comfort. I also like they come in different inseams. I have washed the jeans and no shrinkage. I ordered the size I normally wear and the fit was perfect.

Buyers beware! These jeans fit great and are very comfortable, but unfortunately the fabric has such a bad chemical smell that I cannot wear them, even after many washings and even hanging them outdoors overnight. It is so bad that the smell is noticeable from several feet away. In addition, they are made from a cheap, scratchy denim fabric that doesn't get softer with washing. If I had known that the smell would not wash out, I would have returned them immediately. Now I am stuck with a pair of expensive jeans that I cannot wear. Too bad, because they are the best fitting jeans I've ever had.

I had to buy a size larger, so I bought an 8. I weigh 116 & am 5’3. The jeans are a little long, but the other length would be too short! The jeans are comfortable & look nice. I have several pairs. The only thing that I’d like to see changed is a longer rise & a little more room for those who gain weight in their stomach!

Beautiful jeans however could not get waistband up over butt area - never had this problem with any other Jag jeans - somehow the elastic is not stretchy enough

Fabulous fit! Nice denim. Quality made. I normally wear a size 8. Bought these in a 6. Smart move!!

Very happy this purchase normally I would get a 4 but in the particular peri type of jag jean I opted for the 2 fit great.

Love Jag Jeans. Comfortable, slimming and fits well for those of us with full hips and small waists!

I have several pairs of Jag jeans in the pull on style. They provide a smoother waist area under tunics or even shorter hem blouses and are very comfortable. I ordered the After Midnight color because it looked black in the photo. It's really a dark blue; nice, but I was wanting black. I've ordered the Black Void and hope it's a true black. As for sizing, I typically wear an 8, but because of the stretchiness of the fabric, which loosens up throughout the day, I wear a 6 in these pants. Highly recommend!

These jeans live up to expectations. Are slimming and very comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to have more choice for length. 33" was the only choice and they are a bit too long. But not a deal maker.

Love the fit. The keep shape after long day which can't be said for a lot of pants with stretch in them. I have had them for 5 months and they are still holding dark color. Love the 33 inch inseam option. I have certainly got a lot of use out of these jeans.

Finally! Jeans made for "real" women with curves and potbellies. I have narrow hips but carry most of my extra weight around my waist and lower abdomen. These jeans are super-comfy and look stylish too. It you want a snugger fit, you can size down and still feel good. BTW, Zappos has the best price anywhere on these fabulous jeans.

Great jeans. They fit around the waist and in the thighs. Knees do not bag. They do slide down a little bit, but not nearly as much as my slacks with a regular waist band.

I took the advice and ordered a 14 (I recently became a size 16 argh) and wasn't able to get them over my hips so I am returning them. The Jillian Liverpool jeans are similar and fit well.

These are great jeans for a curvy body -- small waist, big behind and hips, some extra weight at top of thigh. Buying pants that look good is a long process for me because some actually do, so I don't want to settle, but most don't. These are great. That said, they stretch out as you wear them, so what was flattering at first, within a couple of hours was low riding around my hips. My solution has been to have them altered. I've had them taken in at the waist so I can just squeeze them up over my hips. Then when they stretch, they're still small enough that they ride just below my navel and are the most flattering jeans -- even some of the most flattering pants -- I have. I also love that you can order them with a longer inseam.

I had to return these. They are obviously cut for women who are more hippy with larger thighs. I need a straighter cut. The hip area stuck out on the sides like jodhpurs. Otherwise, the material seems nice and the waistline hits below the belly button in the front, and is higher in back, which I liked.

I’ve been wearing Jag jeans for several years, and I couldn’t be happier with the pull on style and the slight stretch of the fabric. They hold their shape and always look sharp. Size down for a snug fit.

The fit of these jeans was perfect. They are so comfortable and look great with whatever you pair them up with. I am buying another because they fit so well. Love them!

Am not a connoisseur in brands of jeans, but Jag, for me, is the best. The pull-on part gives it a very smooth and clean fit. The material is slightly elastic making for a comfortable fit. Will stick to Jag from now on.

These look great but unfortunately, I'm exchanging these for the 33" inseam and paying for alterations. I am 5'4" and the 30" inseam is bordering on too short. So sad that ladies have to have everything altered! Thanks Zappos for basically letting me try on a ton of items at home!

I have been wanting to try JAG and finally did. The PERI Straight is a great fit, modern cut and best of all, no zipper to show through my shirts! I will definitely buy more. I bought the short because I want to wear these with flats. I am 5'4" with longer legs and shorter torso and these are just the right length. I hope they don't shrink with washing! Seriously, give these jeans a try...they are great!

Bought a pair of Jag jeans a couple of years ago so hoped I would like these ok. They are very comfortable, they look good, and I am very pleased.
