Here are some of my observations after the first three weeks: They are very handsome boots, you will get a lot of compliments from complete strangers. The craftsmanship and materials are solid for the price range. Take care of the upper and the boots will serve you a long time. Initially, they were very tight (painful) in the cap toe area, but they eventually broke in after about two weeks. The lining is not super breathable and causes the moisture to be trapped in the toe area, which causes some discomfort. They provide moderate arch support, but not enough if you spend your days on your feet and/or are flat-footed like yours truly. The contrasting sole is beautiful, however it will pick up dirt and lose its appearance very quickly. Yet, cleaning it is a chore.

These boots look great and are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. My only problem is that the "Chocolate" color is really a lot closer to an oxblood red than these pictures make it out to be. Still looks great, I just went ahead and bought them in brown also. And then in black. Yeah, they're really nice boots. Just know if you're only looking at the Chocolate that the picture isn't entirely accurate.

Fit was good right out of the box. Perfect dress boot for winter with rubber soles. Wish there were more color/material options. Great boots!

These are great boots. They are very well made and extremely sturdy. They are a bit rigid and rough on the feet out of the box but I imagine they will break in well over time. These boots also get extra points for style.

Didn't want to say anything until I go all three colors but these are amazing! That balance between stylish and comfortable but not too fancy looking.. Oh low profile on the sole which is classic.. Two different lace colors come with each pair I mean c'mon. These are perfect.

Classy boot. I was looking for a cordovan boot that I could dress up or down and thanks to another customer description of its color this is the one. My personal opinion is cordovan looks a little more dressier than brown. The chocolate smooth is definitely cordovan. I also ordered the Fossil Saddle Series Cordovan belt to match with jeans. Everything feels good to me, but my one regret is that Zappos does not share their customer service abilities with Comcast my awful Cable provider. Then life would be great. Thanks Zappos, you still rock!

Gorgeous boots - well made, not super expensive. Everyone compliments me on them. Good with jeans or a suit.

I love these boots. they are absolutely amazing both in looks and comfort. I have to make myself wear other pairs of shoes just so I don't end up wearing these seven days a week. They go great with both jeans and dress slacks. Your choice.

I now own three pair of these boots, two in black and one in brown. I bought these after an extensive search for boots to go with jeans and I'm glad I went with these. They are mostly comfortable but do require a brief break-in period and I don't recommend them for all-day walking, however, as dress boots, I don't think they are intended for that. The only other complaint I have is that the sole starts to separate at the heel. This has happened on two pair of these boots and I expect it to happen again on the third. Nothing a good cobbler can't take care of though. I'm pretty rough on my shoes and these have otherwise help up.

These boots are awesome, except one thing. First of all they look awesome, feel very comfortable and snug. The construction looks great, the insole is solid and they break in quickly. Best boot I've ever had. The one thing, which is rather important is that the stacked heel falls apart easily. I've already had them replaced by Zappos, once after 2 weeks and now 3 weeks later they are cracking in the heel just a bit. Might have to get them replaced again. I'm not paying this much for shoes that start to fall apart after 3 weeks. What's the point of having boots that can't stand a tiny bit of weather? Otherwise these boots are so freakin' awesome.

After about two months, the stitching on the boots started to come undone, and the laces frayed completely. Thankfully, they came with another pair of laces, and Zappos immediately sent me a replacement pair, but the quality is a little suspect. They also hurt like hell to break in and don't have the greatest tread.

The leather is nice and soft and has a nice finish. That being said, highly disappointed with the soles. Exactly 2 months since purchase with very occasional wear and the rubber soles are peeling back from the heels on both boots. Not what I would have expected. Poor quality.
